DaVinci Wings & Pizza

One of the few pizza places in an otherwise residential area. It's a part of the Pacci's restaurant. It's a nice takeout option on a weekday when things are busy. My family has enjoyed the food and we've never had an issue with the online ordering system. The order is always ready when we go in to pick up.

I placed an order for two pizzas at 6pm. They were promised at 6:30 pm. I arrived at 6:30. I had to stand and wait FORTY FIVE MINUTES with no updates or apologies. No one offered me water or anything. Just complete indifference. These two pizzas cost $44. Save yourself the aggravation and get a couple of pizzas at Domino's down the street for a third of the price and get your pies ten minutes after the order and don't leave your hungry children at home in the lurch as I have tonight.I've seen other people arrive and enter the same predicament. You would think they would let them know there's a delay, but that would be too respectful of their time. I get that hiccups happen, and I'm a pretty understanding person, but there has been no effort to make anything right because they're too busy taking orders from the next customers they will let down. By the time the pizzas we're handed to me by the manager, she said "thank you." I confronted her to say they I'd been waiting for 45 minutes and that she should apologize, at which point she claimed that she said, "I'm sorry for the wait." I told her she didn't. She doubled down. What an embarrassment.And when I got home, one of the pizzas was undercooked. PS: Last time we ordered a Hawaiian pizza, they were out of pineapple and just doubled up the ham. Cursing my wife for making me order here today. This is not a well run place.

Decided on pizza today with my sons and ordered boneless. Pizza was soft and thin crust like we like it. The boneless wings were not good. The wings were fried hard and the sauce didn't cover all of the wings. All and all I would order again but just for the pizza.

Long wait after online order for pickup Not sure, but seemed like maybe they don't get many online orders, as I believe they started my order upon eta on the pickup. That said, pizza was excellent. Wings were all right. Staff was friendly though. I'll return & try the dining room next time.

Disappointing! Food sucks, but friendly staff. I am staying in silver spring for the week and thought I would try some pizza in the area (other than dominos). I saw DaVinci was rated 5 stars so we ordered for pick-up: A veggie supreme pizza, onion rings, Korean bbq wings, and cheesecake for dessert. I was really excited about the spread and everything came to $50. Pizza: The veggie pizza was soggy and the veggies were barely cooked. I picked up the pizza and the dough was so flimsy, the pizza was flaccid like a wilting flower. Who said their pizza tasted like a NY slice??? My guess is that they're not actually from NY. Heated the rest of the pizza up in the toaster oven the next day. Much better crisp on the veggies and crunch on the crust. Onion rings: You can tell these rings were fried to a crisp. You couldn't even taste the onion and they were hard as a rock by the time I got home to eat them. Very dark color and the marinara sauce lid melted, splattering the sauce all over the container. I ate them with ketchup from the fridge. Korean bbq wings: Someone forgot my blue cheese! Disappointing to ride home and realize that they're missing my sauce. Wings were okay, probably the better half of the meal but nothing spectacular. Cheesecake:I ordered a vanilla raspberry cheesecake but when I arrived, they told me all they had was a key lime pie cheesecake. I told them it was fine. After all, how can you mess up cheesecake? For a small slice, probably not worth the price. But it was good and something to look forward to after the rest of the meal was unsatisfactory. I would also suggest black olives on the veggie pizza instead of kalamata olives. Maybe less green peppers too. They overpowered the dish. Better luck next time!

We have struggled a bit looking for delivery pizza but thankfully my wife and I stumbled upon DaVinci's recently. I can't speak for all of their menu but we've just wanted a classic cheese or pepperoni pizza and this place delivered figuratively and literally. Honestly there isn't much to say except next time I want delivery pizza I'll be ordering from here

Great wings and pizza for a reasonable price in the DC area. Easy take away or dine in with a great atmosphere.

Call in a pickup order. Chownow wouldn't process order. Ordered custom pizza and wings. Wings were greasy and sub par. Pizza was so salty I could barely finish one piece.Thought since they were affiliated with Paccis I could expect quality. So wrong.
