Cugino Forno - Frederick

Fast service, budget friendly, friendly staff, clean & great for families! Came here with my 3 year old on a Thursday evening and ordered the Funghi and the Americano. Husband was jealous so we came back a few days later on a Saturday and ordered the Calabrese and the Bianca. The Bianca was like a dessert. My favorites are 1. Funghi 2. Americano 3. Bianca. But everything is delicious. This is hands down the best pizza in the area. Also had the tiramisu (outstanding) and the pistachio cake (also tremendous- my husband's favorite). Also had the strawberry gelato (amazing). Pistachio gelato, and chocolate gelato. Pistachio and strawberry were the standouts in my opinion. Chocolate was too rich for my taste but still yummy. We brought a couple games and water colors for our kid and she could have sat there for hours. Fast and convenient on nights you don't feel like cooking! Also stocked our freezer with a few of their frozen pies. I like that there's parking so you're not fighting for spots downtown especially with a toddler.

The pizza was awesome! Neapolitan style... thin crust baked in a super hot brick oven resulting in a pizza crust that is crispy on the outside (slightly charred) but soft and airy inside. Cooks really fast so your meal is on the table in minutes. One size 18" but it goes down really easy because of the thin crust.Ambience is minimalist. Large, family-sized wood tables w benches. Bright, airy. Cement floors. Clean.Toppings are ok...not very generous but you can still get something with every bite.

Stopped by Cugino on a whim and was met by a delicious array of offerings. My eye's instantly gravitated toward the white pie. Cugino didn't disappoint. The crust was soft and light. Ingredients were fresh and cheese was smooth. Definitely a quality product. For dessert I went with the pistachio cannoli, which was hefty and delectable. I highly recommend.

I absolutely adore this place! The Bianca is the best pizza I've ever had in my. My family is huge and its the best place to go in terms of seating, budget and quality! Anytime I want to show off to my friends I bring them to this place and it never fails to impress! Staff is super friendly and service is always super fast as well! Their gelato is also fantastic!!

One of if not the best pizza in Frederick, these pizzas are fresh, delicious and will make you wanna come back time and time again, the staff is always friendly, the place is always busy and has a great vibe.The calabrese pizza is my favorite. Give it a try if you don't mind some spicy food. Trust me, it is delicious.Pizza napoletanas are usually personal pizzas, but these can definitely feed two or more but still authentic!

We were driving through from PA to VA, and stopped here for a bite at lunchtime. Super chill modern vibe, authentic Italian pizza - just like we had in Naples, and very friendly fast service! We tried pizza Margherita, the spicy Italian sausage pizza, and cannoli - all very fresh and delicious! This place is amazing!

Great pie! They have 2 wood fired ovens churning out pizzas fast. I got my pizza in less than 10 minutes. Baked to perfection. Good crust, fresh ingredients, and helpful staff. Very cool building, it's an old Coke bottling joint.

Delicious brick oven pizza with fresh ingredients that are imported from Italy. The taste reminded me of pizza from Italy. This is the only restaurant I've found in the states that is comparable. Very friendly staff and clean atmosphere. We went for lunch and there was a pizza making class. I'll be back for a class and more pizza.

First time trying this spot. We ordered the Livorno pizza, added mushrooms. We also split a Caprese salad. Very casual vibe. Order at the counter and they bring everything to you. We were big fans. Sauce was light, great dough. Just felt fresh. We'll be back.

OMG this pizza place was so good!!! once we were done ordering, only about 3 minutes later out food arrived! the pizzas were really big and delicious! 100% recomend! Oh my gosh, and their gelato was so delicious and creamy!!! the best I have ever had!!! And their gelato was decor was very pleasing and calming. They were playing Italian music!
