(06/27/2013) Classic Shrimp Salad on Croissants was a perfect lunch for a muggy summer day. Shrimp in the salad are 1/3-chopped U31-35, lot's of crunchy, herbal celery, little bits of red onion, lightly dressed with a touch of mayo, some Old Bay and celery seed. Can't get more Chesapeake-style than that. Only wished for a little toasting on the croissant, but not complaining.(04/04/2013) Jerk Chicken Wrap had plenty of well-seasoned tender shredded white and dark meat chicken. Allspice and cloves evident in the rub. Wrap had yellow rice and stewed black beans (more like a Mission-style burrito). Pineapple-Habanero Salsa really gave it some zip, and I liked the slight sweetness.(04/03/2013) Crab Cake BLT, one of their signatures, was highly seasoned (especially with the addition of the bacon and chipotle/garlic aioli), not much lump, very crabby, significant filler. Overall, good sandwich, but very salty.

So disappointing today. I had the same as last time curry chicken salad wrap and let me tell you it was so not good. They must have ran out and tried to make some quickly. I purchased more than one. It was just a mess. I don't know if want to return now. They have such a good reputation but I know the regular person was not on the truck today. And I had even included a tip when I paid. I am so disappointed.

Went again and this time got the crab cake sandwich with fries. Delicious again. The crab cake was a little soft and got smushed every time I took a bite, but it was still very good. Tip: I'd make sure to ask for utensils and napkins even if you think you might not need them because this yummy meal can get messy!

I realized that I have eaten at the food stand a few times. Once at Rash field in a battle of the cities, once at the food truck meet up in Hampden and finally by accident close to my house in Canton. The truck was parked close by, so we walked over and checked it out. They were actually catering an event, but they hooked us up with a free crab cake sandwich. It was delicious. I have only tried the signature "crabby fries" the previous two times. I highly recommend them as well. (crab dip on french fries). I won't forget Cruisin Cafe again.

I don't leave reviews often, but I felt inclined after trying this fabulous food truck. Found it parked nearby UMD medical center and was awed by the crabby frenchfries - which is what it sounds like - but better. Also be sure to ask the super chill dude working there for a sample or two; he is the man. Thanks for a great meal guys.

I purchased the crabby fries and they were absolutely delicious! The portion of crab dip and fries was very good and I thought the price $8.50 was very reasonable. The fries were hot ans crispy and the dip was not too salty. The guy working the window was extremely polite and pleasant. I let several coworkers taste the dish and several went out and purchased the same thing. Since the portion was quite big to me, it took me a while to finish, even as the dish got cold, it was still good. Definitely will repurchase.

I love this food truck, it's fast and friendly. If you ever doubt buying a crab cake from a food truck, this one will change your mind, it's definitely a must try. Also the friendly atmosphere alone will keep you coming.

I ordered the Chicken Chesapeake sandwich. The wait time for it was around 5 minutes or so. Once it was ready, I was asked if everything looked okay before it was wrapped and placed in a bag. I can't lie, I was skeptical of the crab dip since it didn't look like any crab dip I have ever had before, but the sandwich overall was pretty good (minus the red onions...which was an error on my part). Good enough that I would eat from here again.
