Ended up here looking for late night food while hanging on the strip, this place never closes open 24 hrs

So, I've only gone here during lunch time. I haven't tried the food from the grill, only the side with the lunch specials. Everything from there is delicious. Their greens are my favorite. They have really good pot pie and brisket. The customer service is great and you get so much food for the price.

It's been a while since I've ordered from Crazy Johns on Baltimore and after what I experienced I see why. I ordered a waffle platter with bacon and added eggs to it. What I didn't know was it come with a small coffee or tea. I was never asked what kind tea I wanted because there was maybe 9 different flavored tea bags to choose from. When my order was ready, I asked for the lemon ginger tea and was told by Linda in a VERY nasty tone that she already made me tea. I asked her with what tea bag she said in a very aggressive tone with a tea bag. I then told her that's not what I wanted . She said in a very NASTY tone "well I already made it" I then said well I don't drink that. She then replied "well if u don't take it I will have to throw it away. I told her that's fine and I would like the lemon ginger tea in its place. She then snatched the tea my the counter and proceeded to make me the tea I requested and then slammed it on the counter. That woman is very nasty and has very poor customer service. I WILL NOT EVER be stepping foot back in that carryout. I only gave it 2 stars because the waffle platter was on point.

Crazy John's food was great. Prices were reasonable and the food tasted really good! We got cheese steaks and an Italian sub. If we ever are in Baltimore again we will need to go there again! If you're looking for a quick late night spot - definitely a great option!

Fast friendly service and food is best eaten there the place is coming a lot of orders in and could use a good scrubbing

The food is good, but it can be hectic on both sides of the counter some days. The service is usually good and pretty quick, they maker most of the food to order.

Pulled up for late night eats after landing in this wild town! Literally nothing is open past midnight on a Friday night except for CJs! Conveniently located by all the gentleman's clubs, at that (hence the wildness going on so far)!Waited in a short line and an old fella that looked like he'd been working there since they opened. Customer (who I assumed was a local) in front of me ordered a Philly so I felt it was natural to do the same. No lettuce no tomato. Grilled onions, mayo, extra cheese! Soooo good for those late night cravings. Bread was soft and packed with meat and every bite melted in my mouth like butter. I'd say this is the equivalent of pulling up to fuel city after hours!

I'd be crazy to go back I got sick a few hours after eating here. Never again. Not only did they get my order wrong, but it felt like I was suffering just eating the sandwhich i got. It was one of those subs where the whole thing slid out the back at the first bite making just a pile of sub innards on your plate.

these people always fail to get my order correct and the food changes prices on a daily basis I order the same thing everyday and they fail to get the order right. I hope an inspector comes and reviews how dirty of a customer service you give out. they also don't change gloves often cross contaminating the food. hire a new crew or shut this place down

I had a horrible experience here. I visited yesterday 6/1/24 and the experience was still bothering me so I knew I had to make a review. The staff must have changed because a few years ago, it wasn't like this. Cashier (darker skin Indian man: sorry if ethnicity is wrong) makes you feel stupid instead of explaining what the sub is if you have the wrong idea. Kept saying I ordered a cheeseburger instead of explaining its burger patties on sub roll and then looked at me like I was legitimately stupid. My friend and I get done ordering and she goes to the White Passing Latino Male (WPLM-he will come up again) with bumps all over his face to ask for the bathroom key. WPLM asks if she ordered and she said yes. Instead of him asking to see the ticket (which I have in my hand) he tells her to go to the cashier. Cashier then tells her to go back to WPLM. So she goes back to him and he then has the nerve to tell her that she has to order. So she yells to me to show him the ticket. I then later find out that WPLM told her there's no reason to get loud and to calm down before he finally handed over the key...as if he was trying to make it seem like she was yelling at him. Furthermore, he was the one causing the issue in the first place. Anyways, she goes to the bathroom and that's when I start feeling/seeing eyes on me. WPLM keeps looking at me, both cooks wearing the Wild Ones snapbacks keep looking at me in between tasks, and the cashier kept looking at me. I'm so grateful that we can see them making the food otherwise I would've asked for a refund and left without the food. Then WPLM walks over to the cashier and stays there for about a minute or two. He yells, very loudly, One Ticket. Then he starts going back to his area at the end of the counter and says something here he has to say the phrase one ticket. Again One Ticket is very loud. All of a sudden, security in the building sprints into action and starts to fast ,but not too fast, walk towards the bathroom. At that same time my friend came from the bathroom so the security guard had to save face and went to stand near where the lottery portion is. My friend wanted to eat there so against my better judgment we sat and ate our food. It was so hot back there that you don't have to worry about sitting more than the 15-30 min time limit. The food was good, not as great as it used to be. I have never felt more uncomfortable as a black woman in an establishment more than I did here and I currently live in an area where I'm frequently the only or one of few black people. I understand that some stuff happens in Baltimore, especially near the strip clubs at times. But that's the place you chose and you shouldn't make that every persons problem that comes in. The staff needs major improvements.
