Crafty Crab - Hanover

Great seafood at an affordable price. We ordered a large seafood platter that included Snow Crab, Whole Shrimp, Crawfish, Mussels, Clams, Corn, and Potatoes. The portion was big enough for at least three people. What I liked most was the option that the sauce was on the side per my request. Everything was fresh and tasty enough without the sauce! There were several different sauces available, I ordered buttery garlic which was great! We also ordered chicken salad and broccoli. The chicken was fried for the salad, i wish they were grilled.The service was pleasant and efficient. There were more groups and families at each table. The big portions were easy for sharing. I like the food very much and I'll return!

This 5 star moment is solely for Charles and his stellar customer service! This past weekend while Holiday shopping we stopped at this location for a quick bite and drinks. Due to the holiday traffic the restaurant was moving a lot slower than previous experiences. When we expressed that we still hadn't been assisted after 10+ mins of being seated, he quickly jumped in to aide the server for our section. He even went above taking our order with drink recommendations and friendly conversation to redirect the tone of our night! His follow up even after our server became available was top tier! With his help, we enjoyed our food and beverages plus we still made it to our movie on time! Thanks again Charles! Regarding the restaurant in general, it is our go to location for seafood boils as they are constantly delicious. The drinks are worth the price and the vibe is pretty chill as the location is tucked in a corner of the food court. I would give it a solid 4 star on the average visit.

Whenever I'm in town I always try to stop by crafty crab. It's just a nice seafood establishment without all the bells and whistles. The staff here will give you recommendations depending on what you're looking for. Although it's located in the mall food court, it still feels like a standalone restaurant. You can easily sit in a booth or regular chairs at the table. I highly recommend the fried shrimp basket if you're a fan on shrimp. I always get an order with cocktail sauce and tarter in the side.

Food: the food was amazing! I got the seafood boil with a half pound of crawfish and a half pound of headless shrimp with buttery garlic and medium heat. It came with potatoes and corn and it was the perfect amount of food! I'm not stuffed, but I'm not hungry either. Service: pretty good with some mild hiccups with allergies. I brought a list of my allergies to come prepared but they said they used green bean oil. I looked it up, and that doesn't even exist and I questioned it. They insisted it was green bean oil, then the manager brought me a picture of the oil and it was canola. Other than that, it went well! Cost: The food was a great deal, to the point where we can come much more often than we thought. We had 5 people and our bill was $83 (pre tip). My seafood boil was only $18.99.

Had a nice time here this time .... My server I think his name was Tito something like that he has it in his chain and I still forgot .... He was amazing. Check in on us just the right amount of times ..... I ordered an adult beverage a green tea it was good I as wobbly but it was good .... Our seafood boil bag and my daughter's kids meal of fried shrimp were also good. The food came out faster than I could put the menu down .....the ambiance was as expected we sat right in front of the door in which other people kept passing on the table I didn't care it's a seafood place so you're gonna get messy just eat. Lol.... It's has been a wait most of the times I've been trying to come back but today we sat right down.....

The seafood boil was pretty solid. I'd recommend getting the snow crab daily special to start and if it's not enough, ordering a separate bag of mussels or any of the other options is a great idea too. Service was quick, and the interior was nice as well. If you're looking for appetizers, the sweet chili wings are a tasty choice!

I was craving steamed seafood. I decided to try the Crafy Crab in Hanover. The Crafty Crab is located across from the Cheesecake Factory at Arundel Mills. This location offers a full bar with patio seating. The staff were good. I ordered a steam bag with shrimp, crawfish, and snow crab. Of course, you can add sausage, boiled eggs, corn, and potato to your bag. I had the cajun and garlic sauce added to my bag. Everything was great. The seafood was fantastic. It did not taste frozen, and the cajun and garlic seasoning flavored the meal nicely. I would definitely visit this location again.

Craft Crab has a welcoming and lively atmosphere. The decor is a modern take on nautical themes, creating a cozy yet vibrant environment. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal with friends or family. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. Our food arrived quickly, and the servers were helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The catfish basket was outstanding! The catfish was fried to perfection, coming out hot and crispy. The fish inside was tender and flavorful, with a perfectly seasoned batter that added a delightful crunch. The accompanying fries were also hot and crispy, making for a satisfying meal

First things first, the waitress was perfect she was smart and knew the menu. So when I ordered gumbo she let me know that their gumbo was a little different than what I was used to. Big kudos. Had the fried Scallops with potatoes. Not bad for bar food. The place is bar feeling to the max. Great location nice options for seafood lovers.

The food was delicious but service wasn't the greatest. We were seated immediately and it wasn't super busy, multiple empty tables around us and all over. We waited for almost 20 mins without anyone ever coming over to take drink orders or anything. Eventually a group was seated next to us and a server came out within a few minutes and took their orders and I had to grab their attention to get a drink and food orders in. Drinks came out after the food eventually arrived. We got a 10% discount for our troubles so that was something.I wouldn't go out of my way to go eat there again but the food was delicious. Maybe it was a one off and we just fell through the cracks but 20+ mins after being seated and having to grab someone attention to get any service, and for drinks to come out after food seems a little excessive.
