Crafty Crab

Love love love the crafty crab. I wish the crawfish were a little bigger though. Other than that I was pleased.

I've been to this location several times, but my last visit (6/21/2024) was the worst. The service was horrible--it took 45 minutes for me to get a water, after asking the waiter several times. She got my order wrong, even though she wrote it down and at that point, we waited so long for the food & drinks that I didn't want to send it back. I don't know if the waiter was overwhelmed or if she just didn't care, but everyone in her section was constantly waiting on her to bring something or fix something. I can understand establishments being busy, but waiting that long for a water is unacceptable. The restrooms needed to be cleaned--trash was overflowing and stalls didn't have toilet paper.

Best seafood boil in the area! I often go out of my way to eat here. The service is quick, and if you're inside the restaurant, the drinks are strong and the music is always great. However, not all Crafty Crabs are treated equally as the one in Hanover is not as flavorful. Come to this location!

I will not be returning here. Though we were seated fast. Our server took 15 mins to greet us, an additional 40 minutes to bring water (we asked for 2 cups she brought 1) & 50 minutes to bring the now watered down cocktails. Also though she was writing down our orders she messed them up. Forgot my sausage && gave my cousin black mussels instead of green mussels. I honestly wanted to call over the manager and get the whole meal

Hey everyone, I must've met. I did enjoy the seafood that I received from this establishment. I ordered it through Uber eats. The food was delicious and met my expectations. The delivery service was good. The price was reasonable. I do recommend this establishment for delivery options for seafood.

Service: Meh. It takes a long time almost every time I go to get servedFood: I always get the snow crab special with medium spice and the boom. I get extra sausage. It's good to me. I would say 8/10 which is enough for me to go back. Ambiance: if you wanna watch a game this is a great place to come. It looks like a sports bar. Love the Virginia location more but this isn't bad

I can't say I am a seafood boil connoisseur but the boil here is the most flavorful I have had so far. The prices are reasonable. I got a pound of shrimp and added half a pound of sausage which came to $25 and some change. They add automatic gratuity (had a table of 4 people) which is understandable. However, I wasn't impressed with the service. We went on a Thursday night which it was pretty busy and lively. Our server kept trying to mentally take down our orders without writing it down but then he would have to ask us again what we each ordered. Needless to say, the service was pretty slow. He was nice but he also forgot to give us the basics, like everything lol, the gloves, aprons, buckets. He eventually realized he did have it when we brought it to his attention. He quickly brought them to the table. If you live in DC it's a bit of a ways out. Almost a 40 minute drive but it was worth it. The area is a bit sketch at night. It's in shopping center and the night we went there were police hanging out in the parking lot. Not sure if it's a good or bad thing lol but as for the food, it was great. I would mostly take out from there the next time but I also wouldn't mind dinning in, I would just go at a time that was less crowded.

When other patrons have to advise your staff "they've been waiting long, take their order" that's a problem. 5/20 I've entered the establishment 9:43pm and I'm waiting over 20 minutes for a server behind the bar. Not because it's a busy Saturday night or the playoffs are on, the bartender is purposely walking past me to clean and serve other patrons. I would like to shoutout Ronald stepping up and being exceptional the snow crab special was well seasoned, margaritas were strong but the experience was tainted and it's left a bad impression I'd never dine again.

It's completely disgusting from the inside out. There were women peeing out front of the restaurant because the bathrooms were so nasty. When I went inside there was vomit all over the floor before the bathroom. Management walked by it, staff walked by as well, you could literally smell it in the front of the restaurant. The place needs to be shut down.

Food was tasty , service was attentive! Kinda of pricey For above average food experience !
