I'm late posting this review, so I apologize for that.We recently moved to this area and close to Crabland. We decided to give them a try and ordered 3 dozen large males. We had to wait in line for close to 30 minutes to get the crabs (an odd concept, I'm not aware of any other Baltimore crab place that runs this way).Get home and quickly realize these are extra small at best. We could not believe they were selling such small crabs as larges! These crabs were so small I'm certain they were illegal to catch. They were barely the size of my palm. It was so unbelievable I had to package them and go back up there, to show him what he is selling! Also, we wanted to let other patrons know what they are buying isn't even smalls. The owner got very angry and defensive toward us bringing the crabs up and wanted to argue with me saying I didn't get them from Crabland. It was truly unbelievable and I will never return. It's one thing to give a bad service but to act so rude as an owner is just not acceptable.

This place had some of the best crabs I've ever eaten in my life. Lived in me for 36 years so I know me some good crabs when I have them :) the crab spice was they used was a perfect blend awesomeness. You could tell lots of thoughts when into this rub. Prices were very decent and the staff could not have been nicer. Thanks Crabland for doing crabs right!

We recently tried Crabland after a Facebook deal where you got a dozen crabs, pound of shrimp, drinks, and soup for $29. It sounded too good to be true and was. The shrimp tasted great and were large, but the crabs tasted off. My husband and I fell violently ill in the middle of the night and it had to be from this meal. We only ate half and threw the rest away. Lesson learned? Never buy a seafood deal!

We've gotten crabs from here so many times that I've lost count and they've always been full and seasoned perfectly but this past weekend we made 2 separate trips for their "Old Tavern Style" burgers. They cook your burgers to order and take me right back to the good old days when my dad and I would buy a bag of burgers to take home to surprise my mom, the only thing lacking is that they don't always have pickles (which sadly is an important component for me). I also have to give props to their delicious Cream of Crab soup which was not only delicious and seasoned just right but they pile crabmeat on top and sprinkle with Old Bay. Both my husband and I had to double check to see if we had ordered crab dip, it was that thick and filled with sweet crabmeat in every spoon or cracker full. Lots of parking and make sure you sign up for their Crab Land Crab club because for every $10 you spend you get back a $1 Crab cash you can use on future orders.

Guaranteed? I showed up at 7:10 to pick up a dozen hot Steamed large/exlarge that were to be ready at 7:15. I was surprised that the door was locked and the store was closing. I got my crabs and they were cold and empty. I truly don't know what happened. I called at 5:30 and was told they closed at 8:00 so I placed my order to be picked up at 7:15. If these are "the best crabs of the year, Guaranteed", I would hate to see the crabs last month. Very disappointing. There was no way these were fresh steamed to order.

As an executive I highly recommend Crabland for fresh hot delicious crabs my condo is in Essex and the crabs have been good every time I had them ....every time they are very hospitable and the food is delicious Tony is awesome and the specials are great the only bad thing is that they are closed on tuesdays that's when I tried Shultz crab house which is closer the crabs tasted like ammonia and al's crab shack the crabs were flavorless and taste like Ammonia if you want crabs and are in Baltimore Crabland is your place.

I recently purchased 2 dozen of crabs from this establishment. After eating 2Crabs I notice something very disturbing on the shell of the next crab I attempted to eat. After doing a google research , I learned that the crabs I purchased had barnacles attached to their shell. I called the next day and someone explained that it's not harmful , however for a visual person like myself , this is very traumatizing. I've been purchasing crabs for over 20 years and this is the first time I've experienced this . After doing more research , most reputable business avoid selling crabsWith barnacles. I'm not trying to bash this business , I just want to help another visual person like myself .

To be honest my wife and I stopped there because we really had to find a bathroom. They had one for customers, so we thought "well, we'll buy something." Wow, did we luck out. I was going to get a hot dog and a soda then my wife saw the crabcakes. They were HUGE. We got a couple to go and they were great. LOTS of big pieces of crab. Nice, big, fresh buns. A+ for the crab cakes.To be honest, we didn't like the cole slaw, but it was fresh and worth trying.Definitely worth going to Essex for the crab cakes though!!!(The bathroom was fine too. clean.)

Ordered snow crab legs yesterday. When I called the guy told me they had really big snow crabs... and we weren't disappointed!! These by far have been the best and meatiest and heaviest snow legs I have eaten all year! We will definitely be ordering snow legs from here now!
