Crab Du Jour - Dover

Who doesn't love a good seafood boil? We came here on a cold January day in hopes of warming our bones and our bellies. Food wise, we were not disappointed. We all decided to make our own combo. I went with 1/2 lb shrimp, 1/2 lb clams with du jour special sauce and medium spice. I've got nothing bad to say about this food. It was hot, cooked just right and covered in a delicious sauce that I could not get enough of. The downgrade comes from the lack of atmosphere and service. No one was rude but I didn't really feel welcomed either as the hostess could have cared less about being there. Our waiter was a nice enough guy but forgot one of the drinks and tended to disappear for long stretches of time. We were one of 3 tables in the entire restaurant. Perhaps he was helping in the kitchen? Another gripe I have with places like this is the lack of complimentary bread. You are leftover with so much sauce that you don't want to waste and a nice piece of French bread would perfectly soak up this saucy goodness. Once we flagged down our server, we asked for some garlic bread, which had a strong resemblance to the breadsticks at Olive Garden.I would definitely order from them again and recommend you do the same. Skip the dining experience and enjoy the food in the comfort of your own home.

3.5 stars rounded down. Out of all the boil bag places I've been to, this was the most underwhelming when it comes to flavor and amount of food. We were seated immediately and ordered not too long after. Food came out quick. I did enjoy the Cajun fries the most! For my bag, I did the house sauce on mild and it was a perfect in between. With extra butter on the side, I enjoyed. I forget which filling we had in the Po' boy was good plus the sauce bud after 4-5 bites there's no meat and only bread left. They don't even open the bread to put the meat in, it's like it's just sitting on top. That doesn't make sense for $15. Personally wouldn't visit again because everything just wasn't up to par for the amount of money you'd typically spend here.

Amazing, the flavor soaks right in the bag. Nice experience. Very enjoyable. Totally recommend. Our waitress was very busy but she did not lack attentive service for a minute. Great experience. We will go back for sure!!!

Wow! Wow! Wow!! Soooooooo flavorful and sooooo delicious! The price is surprisingly cheap. This place was a big hit! If I come back to this area! I'll DEFINITELY be back!! Make a point to stop! All that food plus two appetizers our will was under 80! Thank you for a great experience!

I was watching someone on Tiktok eating something similar so I decided that I needed to finally try this joint. I ordered the create your own combo for Jeremy and I to share. 1lb off head of shrimp (which comes with one corn and one potato), du jour special sauce with medium heat and extra corn and potatoes. I ordered hush puppies because I'm southern and I love hush puppies. I loved everything. It was perfectly cooked and plenty to share. My daughter got the chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks. She said it was just ok but honestly, who gets tenders and mozz sticks and a seafood joint. I can't wait to try the po boys and fried baskets in the future.

We celebrated Father's Day a day early and all my Dad wanted was some mussels. The ordering process was a bit rough at first but we eventually figured it out. For the amount of food we got the prices was just right. The garlic butter sauce was so good, but the du jour sauce... my goodness was even better. As much as I love crab, the red potatoes and corn or the cob were my favorite in the bag. The corn was so sweet. Next time I'm definitely ordering extra on the side. The order was ready on time and the exit process was easy. I wish I saw more face masks on the people working in the building but luckily because orders were being processed so quickly there weren't many issues with the social distancing. Will definitely be back and adding a few items.

My husband and I enjoyed this restaurant. Our entree's were good. Our server was just ok nothing special. Ample seating and parking at this location. I recommend this restaurant..

Very mediocre food. We got crab fries to start and they were okay but nothing special. I got chicken fingers and fries for entree and my husband got a fried fish po boy with cajun fries. Both the chicken fingers and fried fish were tough and chewy but flavor was okay. Fries were fine. The server was just okay as well. He seemed to be the only server working at the time so he was overworked. But he brought us refills once and brought the check in a timely manner.

Refused to turn on the final four game. Said they couldn't change the channel. No one was watching what was on. They lost $500 since we didn't stay. What a horribly run place.

Food was very good , staff was excellent, decent prices, plenty of food only thing that would make it excellent would be if the sauce was a little thicker other than that overall my wife and I loved it and would definitely recommend
