Crab 73

So this place is a hidden treasure. Great sports bar with a great beer and drink selection but the real find here is the food. The wings are giant!! Everything is tasty. Absolutely great selection in burgers and even amazing deserts. Portions are crazy generous and the staff is really a huge personal plus. Please check this place out!!!

Heard about Crab 73 through the neighborhood chat. Figured I would give them a try. Kinda far out of the way. Wasn't sure if I was going the right way. Finally found the place. Crabs are live so just know you got to cook them your self. The crabs are really reasonable compared to the other places out here. So they put the crabs in my vehicle and away I go. Home to cook these bad boys. Yes the crabs were really good and the meat has a kinda sweetness to it. This is my new go to place for crabs. I mean to have to cook them is ok for the cheaper price. Always buy the half bushel for between $50 and $65 females. Definately my place to get crabs from

Nice scenic drive along rt9. Bring your reels/casters if tou have time to kill. Lots of places to fish on the way there. Bridges are quick and easy stops. Make sure you have a fishing license and DE FIN # which you can get online.Crab 73 is a very nice well-maintained place. Photo-op worthy Live crabs at very reasonable prices. Crabs are heavy and meaty. I ordered a dozen #1 (large) but got 20 or so since some were #2. It was late in the day so they probably were short. I did not mind - I just made sure I got dibs on the large ones.They have an assortment of other shellfish- scallops, mussels, clams and soft shell crabs, sauces, seasonings and utensils. First time I ever got my hands on "whale" soft shell crabs so got all that was left.Debit card with no additional interchange fee.

Got a bushel of #1 they were outstanding no dead one and all real meaty, great job .

The owner was very pleasant and helpful. The salmon and scallops were fresh and less expensive than the grocery store. I will definitely go back.

Took Rt 9 on the way home from the beach with the goal of finding a crab place. Lucked out with Crab 73. Good selection of seafood. Got 6 (gave me 7) and 2 soft shells. Good prices. Interesting experience steaming them but they turned out perfect. Crabs were fatty, juices and easy to get out of the shells. I will definitely go there again and will recommend it to others. In this era of the COVID pandemic, though, the lady waiting on me came to the side of my car without a mask on. Seems like it would have been easy to do. I had mine on but hesitated rolling down the window to be heard. Was it because I was in Trump country?

They sell live crabs @ a really good price! Very clean, very nice owners. Welcoming! Variey of seafoods sold including, soft shell crabs, shellfish, seasonings. Sometimes when they have their foodtruck on weekends, they can steam for you.

Went here after hearing about it by several coworkers. I have to say the meat of the crabs was delicious and the sizes vary so I had a couple of XLs in there. If you don't mind the drive, they are definitely worth trying out
