I visits for Sunday brunch and I cannot wait to return!Every single thing was delicious When my food came out and I took the first bite, I knew soul was in that kitchen!!! The food was seasoned perfectly and the aromas were phenomenal!The service was amazing and the ambiance was a vibe! As soon as we came in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and seated right away. The staff remained attentive our entire stay and provided excellent recommendations.I really enjoyed the music selection. I notice a stage and would love to come back for live performances.Can't wait to return to try more of the food and drinks!!

We entered and sat at the bar. We were greeted and assisted by Kiashia.She was pretty awesome. Friendly, kind, and smart. She happened to have the same educational background as my friend and I so she was instant fam.Collectively, we ordered the following. We ordered from dinner menu. Collectively, we ordered the following. Corkscrew Wings (Buttermilk Fried) - Amazing !! Southern inspired and perfectly executed!!Corkscrew Fries - Very fresh and tasty. Ziggy Marley Rasta Pasta - Whoa!! Extremely flavorful, and great size plating.36 Street Salmon (Candied Yams & Mixed Kale & Collard Greens) - This entire Platter was delish. Everything was well seasoned, plated, and tasty. Bourbon Peach Tea - Great beverage. Smooth, I highly recommend. Corkscrew Old Fashioned - Ahhhmazing!! Very smooth, well prepared, a whole vibe !! Another recommendation for sure !!Both visits had fantastic music playing that had me living out my shower singing dreams in real life !! LolThey def know how to read the room w the aux !! I appreciated the vibe. I will definitely back for hh again, brunch, and I want to beg l catch a live performance too !!This establishment is definitely a neighborhood gem and I look forward to making more great memories there. Corkscrew is a scene from Love Jones. It has a cool vibe and warm atmosphere. I sat at the bar for a Friday happy hour. The bartenders were polite and offered suggestions. After carefully reviewing the menu, I decided on the Curry Chicken Egg Rolls and the Bourbon Mangria (think red Sangria on steroids). Both had the right amount of kick to keep me coming back. Definitely add Corkscrew to your list!Oh, jazz band takes the stage at 8PM. Get there early so you can get a seat.

Man listen it's very rare that at this point of my life I'm truly shocked to find a place that I keep hearing things about living up to the hype. But the Corkscrew has done it. I went last Thursday for a friend's birthday. It just so happened to be karaoke night as well so that was an added bonus. The setup is truly nice a laid back scene with lots of space if you want to celebrate with a group of friends. The DJ was balancing the karaoke in with a nice blend of songs to set the mood right. But the best part of my night was easily the Thai Chili wings! Those things were cooked & flavored to perfection so much I didn't even wait until they cooled off. Then the worse part I had to constantly fight back the urge to order some more to go. The drinks were also a plus as I've found very few places in Baltimore can make an old fashion properly but the bartender at the Corkscrew has it covered. Sadly the only issue I had that prevented me from giving them that last star was my waitress got caught up in the crowd & forgot to put my order in so instead of a 15-20 minute wait for the wings & old fashion it turned into a hour. But besides that slip up her service was still good which caused me to still tip her even tho she didn't charge me for my food & drink cause of the error. This experience was so good I'm returning today to check out their Sunday brunch so I'll have another update coming very soon

This black owned business is located in Hampden and it's such a vibe! Stopped by on a Friday evening and sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and engaging. They have some happy hour specials. Thursday nights, happy hour is all night.They don't have an extensive menu, but I wasn't too hungry anyway. I did end up trying the curry chicken egg rolls. They were tasty because I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit hesitant, but give it a try! They have unique cocktails, and they're nice and strong! I enjoyed the "Pretty Girl Energy." Definitely recommend. A jazz band came on, and they were everything. I plan to come back soon!

I went to corkscrew for my birthday brunch. The food was excellent and the service was top notch, the ambiance and drinks were excellent and reasonable price. Will be back to checkout Happy Hour.

Excellent service every time we go. Awesome Food, Drinks and the environment is great. So If you're looking for a place to go as a group or as a couple this is the Place to be.. Also parking was very easy

The ambiance and overall vibe of the restaurant was so nice, and made my bestie and I super comfortable! Unfortunately, neither one of us could find a food menu online prior to coming, but we did see a few things we wanted to try on corkscrew's Instagram page. We were a little underwhelmed to find out that "All day Happy Hour on Thursday" means that they only serve happy hour food items, and nothing from their regular menu. We were able to adjust and still eat good! But if they had a website, that one detail would've been made clear online, and maybe we would've come another day. The service was super helpful. Our food came out on time and hot !

Went to Corkscrew for brunch and experience was very underwhelming. We sat at bar after finding a seat... the owners were taking up bar seats even though the bar was crowded and had no seating for patrons. We sat at bar for at least 15 mins before anyone came to take our order. The owner saw this but was too busy on her phone to care. I ordered an espresso martini and asked for it to be made with KAH Reposado. They charged $40 for this one drink. Food was pretty basic as well and they didn't have most menu items available. To make matters worse I expressed my experience at this restaurant on my FB page and the owners came on my post to start arguing with me about my experience. I am so shocked at how unprofessional these owners are. Instead of listening to concerns they blamed me for my experience and told me if their drinks were too pricey for me I should have ordered something else. I have never experienced this type of behavior from owners of a restaurant. Very unprofessional and rude. They also admitted that they charged me for extra Anejo even though I ordered reposado. Yet they never tried to rectify the situation. Video of owners comment on my FB page is attached as well as the $40 espresso martini and "stuffed French toast" that wasn't stuffed... Bullying customers for sharing their experience is extremely unprofessional and bad for business. Would give them zero stars if I could.

Ambiance 10/10 cute decorService 10/10 very attentive and helpful with the menu. Food 5/10 curry chicken egg roll was very dry kind of tasteless, Peruvian wings were only "cooked" throughly and seasoned on one side. I would return for the live music and ambience.
