Holy smokes. New family members sent us a couple of 1 pound cans of their pasteurized jumbo crab meat. What a delicacy it was. We enjoyed it tremendously.

This is basically a fishing outfit that serves up crab to large group outings. We were there with a group from the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort. I have to admit it was my first time eating fresh boiled crab. It is a lot of work for each bite. The crab was tasty, but nothing particularly special about it that I could tell. Served up in a pile on picnic style tables covered with brown wrapping paper. It is very messy. Thank goodness they also served some, what looked like flank steak, and some fried chicken -- otherwise I would have left hungry. All in all it was about the experience more than the food, for me at least.

We come down routinely from Boston to pick up more of JM Clayton's incredibly sweet, amazingly clean crab meat. We simply can't find the sweet blue crab up here that we can pick up at JM Clayton's. It's a pleasure dealing with the family members when we walk up to the order window. You won't find any fresher, more delicious crab meat in a variety of types (lump, jumbo lump, claw) than here!

Bought a pound of jumbo lump today. It was as good as it gets. Sweet and just picked fresh. Best ever had
