We came on a weekday evening and it wasn't too busy. We got a beer, lemon pepper wings ($6 during HH), and fish and chips. Wings are on the smaller side but flavored and cooked well. The fish was ok: a lot of batter for the fish and it was watery in some parts. Fries are slightly crispy and soft in the middle. They charged $1 for two sides of mayo.Their happy hour is Tues-Fri from 3-6pm with deals including $6 bites and $2 off beers. Servers have handwritten list of draft beers (IPAs, lighter beers, etc). Staff are attentive and check in often. The tavern is usually full of locals. Overall, a nice local spot to grab a few beers and snacks; I would rate it a 3.5/5, rounding up to a 4/5.

Well. Where do I even start. So I was at the Clarksburg Outlets with my parents and we were STARVING, but it was a little late, like 8pm, so our options were limited. We drove over to the Tavern and in a hunger induced phase sat down at a table. There was some kind of party or organized group outing taking up the majority of the bar and front tables so the waiter sat us down towards the back where it was pretty empty and spacious.After we order we start to look around and suddenly the mood shifts. We start noticing an awful lot of red hats. Yeah. Those kinds of red hats. And everyone seems to be over 70 except for a small group of self identified Young Republicans. Our fears have been realized. We are smack dab in the middle of a group of Trumpers and they are demanding the debate be put on the TV. There's easily 50 of them. They are complaining that the TV won't go louder and they can't hear but I suspect the waiters are pretending that this is as high as the volume goes. The waiters have confided in us their disdain and horror at the group. Every time Trump comes on screen the group claps and cheers. I make a loud BOOOO.The waiters, bless their sweet hearts, come over every 5 minutes to see if we are okay (I also suspect to escape the crazies). They are browbeaten. Much respect and admiration for the people working because these people were insane. The food was good too.

This was exactly what I was craving, they Rueben was delicious and the fries were out of this world. I think that the comparable place to this spot is dogfish, but I've always really enjoyed Clarksburg tavern.

This was our second time visiting this place in over 11 years. Last time we were here we remembered the Monte Cristo fried sandwich. We had to come back and get it again. We were not disappointed with the sandwich. It was delicious just as we remembered it from last time. Hamburger was medium well and very juicy. I was surprised by the looks of it I have to say I expected a different result. Service was legging just a bit but only because it felt like our waiter was new. Ambience was welcoming and felt more like a sports bar type of setting. Overall, its a nice small local place to get a bite to eat and have some drinks with friends.

My family loves Clarksburg Tavern and we always enjoy the food, drink and the personalities that we meet there. The service is excellent. The main purpose of this review is to point out that Clarksburg Tavern has added to the menu. You can get a ribeye for $30, a full rack for $30, salmon and shrimp for $22, and a mixed grill platter with chicken, ribs and shrimp for $24. The apps are great. If you haven't been there lately you should check knits out. We were there on a friday and with the wn losed patio open, there were plenty of seats.

Just average, nothing special. An okay place to stop if you get hangry while youre at the outlets nearby. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. Typical selection of can beers. Mostly big name draft beers. Taps need to be cleaned or something. My Dogfish, which I've had a hundred times, tasted funny.. Service was just okay
