My friends and I wanted a good brunch spot near water and this place fit the bill !A lovely waterfront setting with huge windows that provides a breathtaking panoramic view of Harbor point. We started with the crab fluff to share. Crabby & Yummy !!For entrees , friend ordered fried green tomatoes - a stack of slices with pepper jelly in between, it was delicious . With that, she had a bowl of cream of crab soup. I saw lots of lump crab in it and she loved it . My other friend had the shrimp salad blt- she was very happy with it . I decided on the shrimp & grits. Huge, tasty shrimps on some grits. The sauce was quite disappointing though. It was supposed to be lobster sauce ( didn't look or taste like it ) & it wasn't enough so it was kinda dry .For desserts, we had bread pudding (huge serving) strawberry trifle & pot du crème,all three were scrumptiousService was excellent !!!I'm sure I'll go back to try the regular menu

The menu has lots of yummy options. I also had a lobster roll as a starter that I forgot to get a photo of. It was really yummy and came with a small side salad. I am not a huge pumpkin fan but the pumpkin panna cotta was one of the best desserts I have ever had. You must eat it with the cookie. Drool worthy. There was a very pretty fire place in the center of the restaurant that made the entire place feel cozy and warm (literally). But I also think the warmth comes from the big open floor to ceiling windows on a sunny day. My server was amazing. I don't remember her name. But she was very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Although this is essentially a hotel lobby bar it gives all the ambience and service of a 5 star restaurant.

Cindy Lou's has some of the best waterfront views. I love their dining area which is full of windows overlooking the harbor. It had been a while but I came back here again with a friend for dinner. I got the Pineapple Sun Down cocktail which was definitely on the sweeter side but still good. We shared the Fried Brussels Sprouts app which was soaked in the maple soy glaze. A bit much with all the sauce but still tasty. For my main entree, I ordered the Roasted Wild Alaskan Salmon that came with curried cauliflower and rice. The curry was a bit over powering but overall a good dish as the salmon was perfectly cooked. Our server was friendly and just attentive enough. The ambience here is great and you can't beat the lovely waterfront views. A really good spot to hang with friends or enjoy a nice date at.

Servers are great. Location is fabulous, worth it for that. Food is only just good enough. The "jumbo lump crab" cakes contained almost zero lumps of crab. They're huge crab cakes, but honestly I'd rather have them be a quarter of the size and actually be all lump crab. Crab cakes should not have the consistency of tuna salad. The shrimp and grits was excellent.

Came here for brunch while parents were visiting and staying at the lovely Canopy hotel. The drinks at the bar were good but the brunch food left a lot to be desired sadly. I will have to come back for dinner one day but I've heard it's not as good as it used to be which is such a shame because the prime location on the water is unbeatable. The service was alright, the waitress wasn't as knowledgeable about the menu as we would've hoped. I'm willing to give it another chance to see if the vibes are good or not!

Oh No Cindy Lou!Yesterday, I'm reading the Eater Essential list and see Cindy Lou's Fish House. James Beard Award nominated Chef Cindy Lou turning out tasty southern treats AND walking distance from my hotel? Slam dunk for me.I walk into a hotel lobby and see the space to the right. A beautiful fire is roaring and the commanding view from every table. No need to sit at a table, I'm by myself so the bar will do fine. And what a bar! Lots of high end spirits, the person running this knows what they're doing. What brought me here was the southern spin. If a James Beard Chef put her spin on a classic dish? I'm down to clown.I sit at the bar and order a beer on tap. A cheerful bartender takes my simple order of Fried Green Tomato stack and the lobster Po Boy.Fried Green Tomato StackThis was a very good starter. If you love FGT as much as I do, you'll be pleased with this dish. My only issue? The tomato stack was built on the plate and the plate sat. The tomatoes didn't have that fresh out of the fryer snap.Lobster Po BoyI was in New Orleans over a year ago and still think about my last Po Boy. What I had last night didn't satisfy any Po Boy cravings. First, why are their micro greens on everything? I had them topping the tomato stack, now they're jammed in the sandwich? And the lobster?? You have a bay FILLED with blue claw crab! My sandwich had four small pieces of fried lobster with, what is that taste, curry? The bread was off, the dressing was off and Cindy? Can you spare some more lobster? I should have ordered the crab cake..Chef Cindy, I've been to the other restaurant Charleston and had the amazing fried oysters. Lose the lobster and slid those Oyster into that Po Boy? Trust me, you'd get that James Beard Award!

I was intrigued by this restaurant due to the mixed reviews but really enjoyed myself and the food when I went! I went for a business dinner and I think it's a great place for one with lots of space and the restaurant wasn't too loud. The service was absolutely wonderful and our server helped guide us to some delicious shareable. We got the grilled and fried oysters and I would Hihi I recommend both! The grilled oysters were flavorful and the fried ones had the perfect thin batter. My sangria cocktail was perfectly light and fruity but not too sweet. I also really enjoyed the cornbread but could see some people thinking it was a bit dry. I got the salmon and it was perfectly flaky and filling!

Amazing view all around and breakfast was tasty. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The bartender could have been a little friendlier. She seemed stressed and told me all about the restaurant being short staffed, having to do other people's jobs and her manager not helping out. I recommend keeping to yourself maybe in the future. I personally didn't even notice until she brought it up.

On a Saturday afternoon as part of a party of five who opted to sit outside, I had an almost perfect dining experience. First I want to give kudos to our waitress Termara she has an exceptional tableside manner! We all enjoyed our food and drink. I didn't care for the kaleslaw and without hesitation they took it back and did not charge me for it.

This place will always be bumping because the views and ambiance is spectacular. It's right in harbor point on the water and it's the Hilton Canopy's restaurant. This was my third time and the adage doesn't stay true - third time wasn't the charm here. I came here in 2020 when the first opened and while the meal was a 7.5 out of 10, their old fashioned stayed with me. It has chocolate bitters that makes it taste like it's a mole. This time, our waitress was lovely; she brought us the bread service when we asked (this used to be standard but as the namesake owners Foreman Wolf group stepped away) this place has really changed. I will also say it's hard to tell where the hostess stand is because the front desk is right when you walk in. It's to the right when you walk in. The food sadly, tastes worse than cafeteria food. But nkr for $30+ an entree. Thank goodness we only got appetizers. The Mac and cheese was watery, the best part was the crispy lobster fritter on top. The beet salad was lovely as it tasted like a Cobb salad, unique but something I could make at home.
