Cilantro's Neighborhood Cantina was packed tonight and I can see why. This is one of the top meals I have experienced and it's right in our backyard! I had the COCHINITA PIBILAchiote-citrus-habanero / braised pork shank / cilantro rice / refried beans / onion habanero slaw / flour tortillas. The pork melted in my mouth and the sauce was other worldly. If you like Latin / Mexican food give them a try. Not pictured were the 3 large chicken tacos my wife enjoyed- they have a great taco selection.

We went Saturday for dinner. We arrived around 6:30 and the restaurant was pretty dead, which was surprising! We were able to pick our own table and placed an order for guacamole with medium spice, a house margarita, and a bottled beer. The guacamole was very good; we did have to stir in the pico ourselves, which was odd and it could have been a bit more spicy but overall we enjoyed it. The margarita was great as well, definitely want to try different ones. We wanted to try the chicken and brisket tacos, but you can't mix and match so we just did it ourselves! The chicken was so tender and flavorful. Really enjoyed them. The brisket was flavorful, but not as tender as we would hope. Our server was quick but dropped the check while we were still eating so even if we wanted a second drink, it felt weird to ask for one. It was weird because the restaurant was so dead. Overall, very glad we gave a new place a try and were pretty happy with the experience

Decent food, decent prices, good service. Happy hour menu is great, top tier margaritas. Missing any wow factor.

Cute spot in the neighborhood! I love their outdoor space. They have very pretty lights strung up all along the outdoor patio and it is very pretty to sit there at night. We had their nachos and it was delicious! Service was great too. I can't wait to come back!

We live really close, so we end up going several times a month. We've gone for weekday lunch, weekend lunch, and weekday dinner takeout. Food and portions are great. Service is usually wonderful. My only two complaints are there's no changing table in the bathroom and the past 4-5 times me and/or my husband ordered the steak fajitas the steak was overcooked. It should be easy for the kitchen to spot because they slice it before plating. I usually order medium, but it comes out with no pink at all and once was burned. The most recent time I ordered medium rare hoping for something closer to medium. It was medium well/well done. A few pieces had hints of pink. I'm disappointed because the steak fajitas used to be absolutely incredible and both my and my husband's favorite menu item.

The food is just perfect. I had the brisket tacos, which were good, but my partner had alpastor tacos and I liked them better. The service was good and the person serving friendly and efficient. Definitely try this place!

The description as a neighborhood place was intriguing because of the location. But it was exactly that and though you walk into a bar, there are some tables behind it. The food is cooked to order and not reheated from a Sysco box. That said, it may take some eating around the menu to find the sweet spot. Or is it a place to have a margarita and nachos and chat about whatever it brings to mind? The Al pastor tacos were real but perhaps not a shining example? Certainly other things to try. Bring a friend and share some private thoughts.
