I have been coming here my whole life, This carryout isn't much in the way of ambience, but the food has been consistently banging (Delicious) over the 40+ yrs they been in business. They use to have a Lil' Asian woman that never aged at the order counter, but finally retired a few yrs ago. They use to have a bathroom that always outta order; but now it's pearmemtly closed. But if you ever ova east (East Baltimore) North East actually, and you want a lot of good amount of food for your money; then give them a try, They haven't been in business this long for nothing!

I had been coming to Chung Mee since I was in middle school over 40years ago. However when they changed ownership the quality of the food wasn't the same. So I haven't been here in quite a while. Today I was in the neighborhood hungry and decided to see if anything had changed. Well they removed all the tables so you can no longer eat in. The menu is slightly different. The young lady behind the counter was very pleasant. I ordered the salt&pepper shrimp. White rice come with it. Surprisingly the shrimp were pretty tasty. And you get plenty of shrimp. I will definitely be back for more

I had the food here once before but I forgot to do a review plus I couldn't remember if I liked this spot or not. Today I decided to order again. I did a walk in. The service was fast. My food was ready in about 8-10mins. The staff was friendly. The price is modest (standard carry out price). As for my food. The first thing I tasted was the shrimp egg-roll (not featured ). I took one bite and was in love. The egg-roll was light and crispy (not greasy). The shrimp was 2 full bites. The veggie ratio was on point. I had the Honey chicken wings with white rice and gravy. The honey chicken had a nice flavor. The chicken tasted like fried wing pieces with a sweet sauce on top. The white rice was okay and the gravy was "alright". (I was neutral about the white rice and gravy). As for the fried wings and fried rice. I didn't like the fried rice it was a little over cooked for me. The fried chicken was okay. All in all I would visit again but I think I liked the Chinese's menu better from when I order my shrimp and broccoli on my femoral visit there. To be continued about this location....

Slightly disappointed place for your typical Chinese American food. Got take out for dinner and ended up getting the sweet and sour chicken and some noodles. The chicken was crispy and large portion, but super oily, even more than I expected for Chinese take out. The fried rice was decent, but also kind of bland. The noodles were also super oily but also very bland and I did not end up finishing them. The service was friendly and quick though. No seating inside here as a tip.

The best Chinese food in this part of Baltimore. The food is cooked American style (greasy, high calorie with huge portions). I especially enjoy the yak a mei and egg foo young.

Chung Mee has been around for a long time. They have tables and chairs and a bathroom that is always out of order (and always will be) from when Chung Mee was a sit down restaurant.I ordered a shrimp egg foo young and it was greasy and yummy. Gravy satisfying and the white rice to suck it all up was nice. Definitely worth a stop if you're coming from work and taking The Alameda home.

The lunch special isn't worth it but the lady behind the counter was awesome. And they had general tso's shrimp which was so good!Everything tasted good. It's just the lunch special is not well balanced and is mostly rice. Order from the regular menu.

I ordered a large Shrimp Yat Gaw Mein l, large General Tso Chicken with fried rice, and two Shrimp Egg Rolls. EVERYTHING taste as if it was cooked a few days prior. The chicken was mushy and the rice was extremely dried out. The egg that's in the Yat Gaw Mein was an ordinary boiled egg which isn't that bad but I was expecting the classic brown egg. Even so the egg was the freshest thing in the entire meal. Lastly, the shrimp egg role was mostly veggies and fillings and also taste as if it was heated up in the microwave and served.

I've been waiting to try Chung Mee since I heard about their General Tso Shrimp (first Ive heard of that). I ordered my food ahead of time and it was ready when I got there. It's a very clean establishment with a nice set of tables and chairs. The lady at the front was very nice as well. They are a tad more expensive than Chinese take out I've bought before but they definitely make up for it. Their portions are large and my general tso shrimp was flavorful in every way I could have imagined. I will be back in the future.
