Not sure what changed recently but this place is back to being on point and when I place a delivery order it always arrives in less than 30 minutes, even during lunch hour. I always say I'm gonna venture outside my comfort zone but usually end up going with my tried & true favorites - Shrimp in Garlic Sauce, Shrimp Lo Mein, Bourbon Chicken, Shrimp Toast & for hubby Egg Rolls. The Shrimp in Garlic Sauce is marked as being spicy but trust me, it's not and I always forget to ask them to add a little more heat. The shrimp are a nice size while the ones in the lo mein are a bit smaller and the bourbon chicken lasts me for days, kinda have a feeling they're adding red food color to the dish though. They have lunch specials that run to 3:30 so if I'm planning on having this for dinner I usually order before that cut off time to save a few bucks for nearly the same amount of food

You know how when you first start going out with someone everything they do is cute. Like if they put carrot sticks in their mouth like a walrus its kind of endearing. Well two years in and they do it at a work function and its ,well not horrible but slightly off and a little embarrassing....That's how I'm feeling about China One. Maybe its the new "kids" [literally they seem to be on the low side of 20-ish- the main woman is out with a baby]. They are still fast, still piping hot-but its just a little slightly off .My most recent meal was an Orange Chicken combo- usually a solid late inning double with a man on to put the game away; it's baseball season- GO O's!!!!!!- this past Friday it was a single that ended with a runner stranded on second.The chicken was a little "tightly" fried, the sauce was off, the orange peel bits were too big, the fried rice was merely OK, the egg roll was disappointing dry overcooked lump.They'll get more chances because they used to be great. Hell I stuck with the O's for 14 seasons.

I took a chance because they are the only place near me where I can get the condiments ON my chicken box... everywhere else offers packets. I will NEVER go back omg I feel sick! (I literally just finished eating what I could ) but Idk where to start with the dissatisfaction... maybe the fact that if I want the condiments ON the food they charge an extra dollar but whatever... Or maybe the fact that when I pulled up I didn't smell food at all... Or maybe the fact that inside smells like a wet dog... maybe even the fact that the chicken had a nasty smell or that the fries were just barely done.... there were so anything wrong with this place that 2 stars is me being generous. I only have 2 stars because 1 the food was ready when I got there at the exact time she told me and 2 because the amount of condiments that were put on the food!DO NOT EAT HERE NOT EVEN AS A LAST RESORT
