The food is very good and fresh. I typically do takeout and they have it ready in about 15 minutes. I've been going here for many years and you can have as much duck sauce, soy sauce, spicy sauce or whatever you need. They will accommodate your order if you have different preferences. Definitely worth a try if you haven't been here and I guarantee you'll be going back.- Alex

Gen tso chicken is my favorite here. Is it the best food around? Meh. Is it solid every time? Yes. Prices have gone up in the past year. Front register people are efficient and friendly.

I like the fried rice that they put in the shrimp lo mein---Genius! Food was hot, also good to help your self to condiments!

So I spent a really long time reading reviews. Saw that it said they were opened. So then I drove there and they were closed. I saw another review saying they tried calling but nobody ever picks up.Now I wonder.... . Too bad I really wanted to eat here.

I came here for carry out, and got a chicken with broccoli and an order of fried dumplings. The chicken broccoli was pretty standard, a tad too much oil in my opinion. The fried dumplings however were delicious!! They were filled with pork and veggies and you can tell that they were house made bc of the perfect texture of the skin, and great flavors. I will go back to try their other items, and maybe get 2 or 3 orders of those dumplings!

Walked in. Ordered low mein with chicken. Shrimp veggies and dumplings. The shrimp was awesome in fact everything was excellent. The service was very friendly. I will return. I didn't call. I got my fat butt off the couch and picked up.

Spring rolls, beef broccoli, all soups, orange chicken, vegetables are all great!!!!The prices are fair, the folks are kind and very courteous. We are grateful for this place!!! Thank you, China Chef!!!!

Good customer service..The young lady is always so friendly and the food is good. The shrimp egg rolls and their sweet and sour sauce are a favorite.

If you want the best Chinese food in Catonsville then China chef is it. The foods always fresh and generous portions and the flavors are there. This place is legit
