China Buffet

First off, extremely overpriced for what you get here. Small crowded tables and over environment. Kids breathing all over the food everywhere. Buffets should be large, and open, and inviting. This place isn't any stitch of that. Secondly, the food is atrocious. It's bland, oily, low quality, and doesn't even taste like Chinese food. Your better off paying 40 dollars for takeout from literally any Chinese joint, unless you get from a really, really, bad one. I'm not trying to be rude but leaving this place I did not feel good at all, and I felt bad I wasted so much food.

Not much variety of foods. They seem to want tip but never pick up plates and wait till people leave. Plus , people come in from the back and don't pay , so unfair to overcharge and not charge those who come from the back door.

I'm slowly working my way through all the Chinese buffets in the DMV and this is by far the worst, most chaotic one I've been to. Limited selection (no sushi, no cook to order, no dumplings) and some of the staples like the seafood delight had a very off flavor to them. Ice cream came out runny and a bit sour, definitely the saddest I've encountered at a buffet. I went on a Friday at full dinner rush so the food should have been at its freshest. There's no service to speak of as you get your own drinks and your own silverware but clean up of dishes was efficient. Very crowded space and definitely not accessible for people with disabilities.

I was there a couple of weeks ago. The China Buffet in College Park had more than 20% capacity and the parking lot was full. The buffet was still in operation to customers which is against county and safety regulations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mixed review: I was disappointed because I seen this place empty but on the Saturday noon time it was quite crowded and some Maryland Smart Talk was in, and the number of the available dishes disappointed me. If you see the price you'll notice it was under $10 on a Saturday and a drink comes with it. Everything in the place is clean, now some hours later I'm not sick on the food.

Good buffet food but the staff are so disrespectful! Had lots of options of food that was all hot and pretty good. But at the end as we were eating our dessert they kept laughing at us and saying goodbye to get us to get up a leave (mind you we are STILL eating). I used to go here a lot as a kid with my grandma and it was the first time I've went in over 10 years.. won't be back.

Did not feel clean at all. Only 2 food stands so very crowded and i was overall turned off. You had to grab your straw(with NO WRAPPER) out of a box near the soda machine and God knows how many dirty fingers touched what you're about to put in your mouth..I watched a busser chase a few guest down to make sure they left a tip even though she did nothing for the table and if you don't she would be loud and rude about it as the seem to be owner/manager watched. While eating they came to our table with flashy toys to get us to buy one for our kids and after we said no thank you they came back to Influence my two kids. Very disturbing. Very annoying.I've known this place since I was a kid and now that I came back as an adult maybe it's gotten worse or maybe my eyes are just open now as a parent. We paid $35 for two. All these years all the money they've been making and it seems none of it is being invested back into the company. To the owner: do better and stop under paying your staff and and teach them to be professional. Definitely my last time eating here. The one in laurel is way better.

Over priced and the smallest buffet for choices I've ever seen. Would never visit again.

That food made me sick and wasn't even all that good. I literally would rather go to a university cafeteria (which cost much less). When we walked in, it did not feel welcoming but there was a nice lady cleaning the tables. The atmosphere was weird....like a Chuck-E-Cheese with no games. Wasn't worth the money.

The ambiance was terrible for me today just because it was crowded two of the host was rushing me to leave so they could tables available. One of them put me from one table to another, then they wear rushing me from me from that to leave all together, one had the nerve to tell not eat there anymore
