Tons of free parking. Located in a shop with a bubble tea place.Highly recommend their hand pulled noodles. Get their 3 way noodles. If you have kids, order their side of brocolli. Their garlic brocolli may be a bit spicy (due to the garlic) so make sure before giving it to kids.Their burger (murger) is okay. A bit on the dry side.Their lamb noodle soup is pretty good. A bit of a strong flavor. But the broth is good.Their prices are reasonable and worth checking out if you are in the area. Tons of spicy and non spicy options for everyone! Staff here are extremely friendly too!

About a 1-1.5: Chin Xi-an Style Restaurant is located in the same space as Ben Gong - I was craving for some biang biang noodles, and since this place had decent reviews for it, we decided to check them out.Note that the Chin staff here are super strange - they don't allow you to sit in the dining area unless you're dining in and ordering from the menu - it's weird, because the place is like a 2-vendor super small dining hall? Again, it's a shared space, but Chin seems to to think they have the complete authority to kick out any Ben Gong customers and those who order online from Chin that try to enjoy their drinks/food in the seating area - there should be clear signs that this is a Chin space, if that's even true. Just so weird.Either way, we ended up getting our orders to go by using the kiosk:+dumplings (with the same hot-oil used in N1)+the N1 - Spicy Hot-Oil Seared Hand-Ripped NoodlesIt's funny, because there was only 1 party dining in; kind of makes sense, because most likely others have experienced the offputting-ness of the seating situation and probably either got their orders to go or passed on. Considering that there was only 1 other party, we weren't sure why the items that we had ordered were just sitting there; everyone knows that noodles need to be consumed quickly once the dish is prepared, as they get 'swollen' - the dumplings were fine, but lukewarm; the biang biang dish had noodles that were already coagulated and sticky; there didn't seem to be enough sauce, so we had to use some of the remaining sauce that was in the dumpling app to dress it more properly. It's unfortunate, as the hot-oil that was used actually tasted pretty good.Staff were standoffish, and one could really become put off by their demeanor - not sure if it's worth the poor explanation, the weird dining in situation, and the lack of care with online orders.Plenty of parking in the large plaza lot.+swollen noodles+off-putting staff +lack of attention to online orders+located in the same space as Ben Gong in the Princess Shopping Center+plenty of parking in the the large plaza lot

Absolutely Luscious NoodlesAfter an exceedingly tiring day, being able to sit down and enjoy food that manages to be both comforting and fresh was much needed. The celery and dried tofu salad was bright and crunchy (and peanuts aren't impossible with chopsticks, simply a bit... meditative) and my spicy cumin lamb was perfectly seasoned, with delicious, chewy noodles. My sister ended up stealing most of my plum soda, so apparently it was tasty as well!Staff was very nice and we were seated promptly, the time of the place is super casual, which is entirely suitable. I do wish there had been tea, but perhaps I'll get boba tea next time!

Nestled in a bustling shopping center alongside Honey Pig, Chin Xi'an Style Restaurant is a hidden gem that specializes in handpulled, numbing Xi'an noodles.During our Saturday lunch visit, the restaurant was buzzing with activity. Limited seating means you might have to wait 5-10 minutes for a table during peak times, but trust me, it's worth it. The atmosphere is casual yet vibrant, perfect for a quick meal.We started with the 12 Hour Stewed Pork Hand Pulled Noodles and the Spicy Pork Noodles, alongside the "you pick 3" cold dishes: dried tofu skin, sweet heat cabbage, and shredded potatoes. We couldn't resist adding a Spicy Cumin Beef Murger, served in a crisp baked flatbread. The handpulled noodles were undeniably the highlight. Each strand was perfectly al dente, with just the right amount of chew. The stewed pork noodles stole the show--flavorful, tender, and the kind of comfort food that warms your soul. The spicy pork noodles were a bit of a letdown in comparison; while enjoyable, they lacked the bold flavor profile that made the stewed pork so memorable. The cold dishes were a delightful accompaniment. The crunchy texture of the shredded potatoes and sweet heat cabbage provided a refreshing contrast to the chewy noodles. They added a nice touch of variety to our meal.As for the Murger, it was decent. The cumin flavor was prominent and well-executed, making it a satisfying choice to round out our meal.Overall, Chin Xi'an is an excellent spot for those craving authentic Xi'an flavors. The noodles are the star, and with a few tweaks to some dishes, this place could easily elevate itself to must-visit status. If you find yourself in Ellicott City, make sure to stop by for a taste of their handpulled noodles--you won't regret it!

If you love hand pulled noodles, this is your spot! Located amongst many Asian based restaurants and businesses, it shares a space with Ben Gongs tea. Once you walk in, you have the option of ordering via the kiosk or you can dine in. Make sure you walk up to the counter so that the servers know you're planning to dine in. Several customers were just hanging out by the entrance and it was unclear what they were waiting for. The place also has many tables that can seat from 2-10 people. During my visit there were only 2 servers but they were doing an amazing job with delegating tasks and checking in with dine in customers. Now, let's talk food... I highlyyyyyy recommend the sweet and spicy cabbage but would not recommend any of the other cold dishes (except the celery one which we did not get). The cabbage dish encompassed a great balance of sweet and spicy and the crunchy texture just rounded it off. The tofu skin was bland and so was the crunchy potato. Also eating potatoes cold was off putting. Neither of those two delivered anything .Noodle wise, the 12 hour stewed pork noodle dish was the star! The balance of spice and garlic was well rounded and paired so well! We also got the minced pork and it was ok. It was just bland and you could only taste the cumin and nothing more. The beef murger was also forgettable. Between the meat and the pita, it left it feeling very dry. I had to put some cabbage with it to liven it up. Like the noodles just really tasted the cumin but nothing more to help balance it out.

The food is unique and exciting to taste a different style of Chinese cuisine. It's very different from the more common Cantonese cuisine and Szechuan. The spice taste is different. They have a special once in a while, the beef noodle soup. It is not on the menu and it is delicious. I hope that they make it a permanent item in the menu.

We started off the year with getting noodles from Chin for our first meal, and we immediately knew we would be back.We drove 30 minutes to grab take-out. I ordered ahead of time, and the order was ready at the time indicated. The person at the counter was super nice and friendly. Like everyone has said, their take out bags/containers are top-notch. When we got home, we immediately dug in. I ordered the spicy cumin beef murger, the stewed pork murger, the stewed pork hand ripped noodles, the spicy pork hand ripped noodles, and the beef noodle soup (a current special). If you saw my husband and I, you would think it was our first time eating in a week. The food was delicious. We haven't found a place here/in NOVA that has these types of hand ripped noodles. We were obsessed with them in Seattle and have been craving them for almost 3 years now. The murgers were good - the stewed pork murger was our favorite of the two.The stewed pork hand ripped noodles were our favorite of the noodles. The flavor was insane. The noodles were delicious. The beef noodle soup was our second favorite. The soup was super tasty. We liked the spicy pork noodles. They weren't really spicy. But they had that slightly sour aftertaste that kind of makes you hungrier. It was pretty good, but the other 2 noodles were definetly the best. I was worried that the portion sizes were going to be small after reading another review. But they might have taken that into account and bumped up the amount you get. We were very full and had plenty of leftovers. We had the rest for dinner. And after they sat for a little bit, the flavors developed more. The spicy cumin beef murger got even spicier too. We will be back, and happily make that 1 hour round trip for these noodles.

Ordered take out. I wish they gave a little more soup for the noodles, but all good. Noodles were definitely stuck into each other due to it being take out. But it was delicious. The black bean noodles are nothing like the Korean black bean noddles... I think I'd pass on this one, but, it's not bad. I recommend dining in.

Overall - small and confusing shop with underwhelming food with single stall gendered bathrooms I was stoked to find a place with biang biang noodles around here, but sadly we won't be back. We were greeted with a machine asking us for our email and phone number to get on a waitlist but the place was pretty empty. It said to wait to get seated so we waited, but no one came over so we went in. We were given super small cups of water. The server was not super helpful or personable. Two of our orders came out so far before mine that my partner finished their food before I got mine. The noodles were just okay. There was probably about a teaspoon of meat in the two noodle dishes we got (black bean and spicy minced pork). The spicy flavor was good, the veggies in it were cold, and i was surprised that most of what I thought should be meat was tofu, carrots, and potatoes. The M1 murger meat was absolutely delicious, but the bread was soaked with liquid. There was a pool of meat juice in the sleeve it came in.
