I ordered a chicken meal that came with 25pieces of chicken, French fries and Cole slaw, and to my surprise some rolls/bread. The chicken and French fries were really good. Not sure about the Cole slaw because I don't eat it, but there was none left, so that's a good sign. The only downside was that it only came with 4 rolls/pieces of bread. I felt like it should have been more. However, other than that everyone enjoyed the food and had great things to say about the chicken.

Tried this for the first time for a quick lunch and I was pretty pleased. It wasn't anything amazing, but if you're craving fried chicken this place is for you. I ordered a 3 piece (already ate one piece before taking a picture) with fries and a drink. The chicken was incredibly crunchy and the inside was so so juicy. The seasoning was just salt and maybe some other spice, but it was fairly simple The fries were also dusted with what I'm assuming was Old Bay and it was pretty good. My boyfriend for their chicken tenders and he said they weren't all that special. They were pretty thin, but he was still satisfied.I think I'm going to come back here whenever I feel like eating some chicken. Owner was very nice too!

This is the most disgusting fucking food I've ever had bro it was a waste of money! if you see this review I'm gonna do you a big favor and save the money in your pocket and tell you DON'T GET IT cause you should enjoy your food... I felt like I was cheated by the man who served us because he honestly could have told us straight up the food isn't good but he pretended like the burger is good claiming that is what he would order but anybody in their right mind would never order something that bad!!! They say that the three secrets for any good restaurant are location, location, location, and if that's true, Chicken Basket is missing something. Tucked away in the back, behind Cuba de Ayer, where no one can see it, Chicken Basket is not a spot you'll see from 198, and its easy to forget that they are even there. What they lack in location, they more than make up for. This is my local gyro place. While the restaurant is called "chicken basket," I can't say that I've ever had their chicken. I'm not big on fried chicken, but I do love good gyros, and theirs are definitely up there. There's plenty of meat, and its well seasoned. The onions are generally fresh and crisp, and best of all, its not drowning in tzatziki sauce (full disclosure, I totally had to google how to spell tzatziki). The staff are friendly, polite, and helpful. I don't know that I would really recommend the place for a good sit down dinner, but its great for take-out or delivery. If you don't mind that the seating area is a little dated, it does make a good spot for lunch.

Paid for a 4 piece white chicken meal and poppers. So they rushed to close at 8. On a Friday!! So umm. Wheres my fries n coleslaw??? Never again. I will Only go to the one in Rockville. Not this outdated Unprofessional place! Paid over 20 bucks for this crap!!

Where do I begin, enter building way before close...no one speaks. Browsing the menu, two minutes pass and still no one speaks. Employees are standing literally 5 feet away maskless boxing food. Not even a one moment mention, just nothing. Good luck to the staff members with that terrible customer service.

First visit and this spot is a great place for gyros. We ordered the lamb and chicken souvlaki gyros and French fries for lunch. It was one of the best gyros we had in years. Price was reasonable. Will definitely go back and support this local business. It's located right behind Cuba de Ayer, so you can't see it from 198.
