I am hesitant to give the raving review I was planning to give after some of the other reviewers, but many of them were over 5 years old so it's possible this establishment has changed! My dad randomly found this crab and seafood truck at the Exxon in front of the Walmart in Glen Burnie, he had been telling me how awesome the jumbo male crabs were. On Father's Day he said he didn't want to go to our normal spot, he wanted me to find jumbo or large males from here. He told me on a Friday and when I called Saturday morning they'd already had so many ordered called in that they couldn't confirm what they'd have available on Father's Day. I showed up as soon as they were open and stood in line, the first person wasn't clear or very friendly, he basically told me he had no idea how long I'd have to wait to figure out what was available after they sorted through the orders. I continued to stand in line, and I am glad I did! People started showing up and if I'd gotten in my car I got sure would have missed out. I finally asked a young lady about how orders in person would work, she quickly told me they did have jumbos available and I was good to go. I ran an errand while my jumbo males and medium females were steaming with corn and was on my way.

Great place to get crabs. I like to get the male blue crabs. Prices vary different times of the year so you always want to call and ask. I they have specials frequently. I have gotten crabs here multiple times and have never been disappointed.

I recieved my order on time but did not receive my crab paper I paid for. Now I'm waiting for a response from the message I left on there voicemail. Now I'm going give the crabs a taste. I just had the crabs and they were ok some were light and cracked with alot with one claw leg. Definitely over priced the crazy thing is I got the med.-large crabs.

DO NOT ORDER, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!Long story short, I ordered a bushel arriving last Saturday and they smelled spoiled. I called and emailed immediately and again the next day but they didn't respond till Monday! For God's Sake, it's spoiled seafood!I couldn't risk my family getting sick so I preserved them in the freezer to wait for their response. The crabs smelled SOOOOO BAD overnight even in the freezer and I had to throw them away as I headed out to work Monday morning.This company policies are insulting to customers and there is no refund whatsoever. They'd send you gift card with your next purchase but will you pay more money just to get more spoiled seafood? For you and for your family's safety, don't order from them. I'm very upset about what happened, and please don't let the same thing happen to you. It's just too much money and time for an absolute disappointment. Here are the first couple emails back and forth between me and their customer service if you want to know what happened to me. This is the real deal. Just in case you were wondering. We ordered 4 dozen males and females and had the best shelter in place Crab Feast.We live in San Diego and although I grew up going to Maryland every Memorial Day to welcome our favorite crustacean, the Blue Crab. You simply cannot find them in San Diego..... So this year I broke down and ordered from Chesapeake Crab Connection. I have to say the best seafood decision I have made all year. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Thanks, Chesapeake Crab Connection for a tasty 4th of July.

Bought a bushel of jumbo crabs. The packaging was not neatly packed. Lots of the crabs shells were broken. Very disappointed and will not recommend this place to anyone!

This company has NOT disappointed yet. Im an Easterner. I eat only crabs from Maryland or Alaska. Every summer is a personal ritual to have Maryland blue crab. I only prefer extra large one, jumbos when I can get them. This yr I got their extra large. Well seasoned, I get regular season, just spicy enough for my taste. They came the day I requested. Packaging perfect. Dry ice kept them all in great condition. I got 2 dozens. They sent 3 extras. I eat them in half dozen portions. Last time I got them, I froze the others. Steamed them and the lasted. It's a treat them since I live in Texas. I try never to eat anything from the Gulf, too toxic. Thus, I have to either visit the east coast or buy them from Chesapeake. I miss the east coast. Chesapeake gives me a little piece of home.
