Go there - go now! Chesapeake Coffee Roasters is the best! So many great coffees from which to chose and the quality is spectacular! And equally important, this company gives back. It supports Chesapeake Bay and surrounding area environmental programs, offers fair trade coffees, and uses sustainable supply chain purchases. My favorite is Dark Sumatra but I have never had a bad coffee there.

I have been told I am a coffee snob. When I moved to Maryland it was hard finding good coffee. Yes call everyone loves Starbucks. Starbucks is the last thing I go to when there's nothing else then one day I went to my favorite bagel shop in the area and I tried their local coffee. He told me about Chesapeak coffee roasters, how they are a locally owned company I was very skeptical, but one cup just one cup of the macadamia coffee got me hooked. Now for the last three years since in Maryland all I ever buy is Chesapeake coffee roasters I love that they are environmentally mindful and that they have fairtrade products as well as awesome flavors. If I ever own my own business, I will definitely be using coffee from Chesapeake roasters.

We routinely stop for our coffee can refills on our way from Southern Maryland. The staff is always friendly and goes out of their way to be helpful, answer questions or to prepare a delicious coffee drink. Their business steward's the health and preservation of the Chesapeake Bay and I am more than willing to support them in this effort by purchasing their products. Delicious, well balanced fair trade coffee and our most recent sample was Oyster Reef. Highly recommend it as well as the Dark Sumatra, Cattail and Rivers Edge. And as if their business stewardship to the Chesapeake Bay isn't enough, they honor our great nation's military as well as support through other community events. Kudo's CBRC!!!

The coffee isn't bad. It is fair trade, and organic. If gives you a good feeling knowing that you haven't oppressed anyone for your caffeine fix! However, what is great, is that they package their coffee in reusable metal tins that serve very well for a free, 15 minute wood gas stove that can boil water, cook on, and yes, even brew coffee on just twigs and sticks! I really appreciate a company that instead of using plastic packaging, uses something useful like reusable tins! It's good coffee that you can use the tin it comes in to brew itself, what a bonus!http://www.theanxiousthoughts.blogspot.com/2013/12/the-15-minute-wood-gas-camping-stove.htmlMark :o

I bought the coffee for the first time this week. The coffee has a nice smooth favor, very good aroma and mellow to drink. Nice finish. 4 star coffee. I have to give it 5 stars because its roasted and canned right here in Maryland, my home state, so very proud of that. And the beans are sourced fair trade. The cans are quite nice too. All in all a product from my home state that I am very proud of.
