So happy to see a checkers in Laurel! Long time coming! Location: Tucked beside Patriot Urgent Care. They did a poor job of signage! If you're headed north up Baltimore Avenue crossing the major intersection of Contee road. Start getting in your right hand lane after passing famous Dave's on your left. There's a tall American flag flying in front of the store. Don't drive too fast and put your turn signal on after passing TD Bank.Food: first time visiting, the sandwiches were cold! Not hot at all. It seemed like speed of the service was more important than the temperature. Like they had the burger dressed and wrapped waiting for you. Service: Quick! They have two drive thru lanes and a walk up.Ambiance: The fresh paint and new look is exciting to see. It's clean outside and does have pretty good parking. 3 Stars for cold food right out the drive thru

Doubt I'll be back. Went twice and the food just isn't good. Granted it's fast food so I know what to expect. My drink and fries were the only things that have been decent. The burger and tenders were warm nowhere near hot. Both times, there were only a few cars in line so I'm assuming the food had been sitting for a while.

Food was mid. Didn't like that my fries were sweet. Burger and fries didn't seem fresh (temperature was not hot). I was the only customer so I could tell food wasn't made to order.

Tried this location twice service is very slow, food was very mid even tho the fries were hot they tasted charred tha burger & tenders was pink in middle and still had pink juices coming out. Small location but two drive thru lines my drink was the best part of it all.

The food here is wonderful! I've seen other reviews where they complain about the fries being sweet, but that's just the special seasoning they use, which I rate a 10/10. I love how nice it looks, it has a beautiful outside design and some tables outside to sit at. The service is super fast and there are two drive thru lanes! The people who work here always make the food great! Checkers is a 10/10!

Do not go to this establishment, i ordered through grub hub and only got 5 of my items and three of them were drinks . So I call the restaurant to talk to a manager and they don't answer. This is not the first time I had issues with them but it had been a while and my family wanted checkers so I said we will try again . NEVER again, they are horrible and lazy and just don't care . I will be contacting corporate maybe they need to do a sweep and keep an eye on this place because it's one big disappointment. Just stay away plus the food wasn't even worth the price paid . I have to add a star but if I could they would get 0 stars

So I went to the Burger joint in Laurel, and didn't have the experience I expected. Though the attendant was nice, I didn't feel welcomed! And the price was a shock, but even a worse reception to the taste of the food as I bit into a moushy mess. The feelings of eating undercooked mushy meat in my mouth. I couldn't tell if I was tasting flavorless tomato's or just mushSo, I reheated the patty when I got home and it was a bit more firm. I must have missed the lunch rush...

Got a bacon burger with BBQ sauce, fries and a drink. Everything was great. Checkers has the best BBQ and really like the seasoned fries. Hamburgers are a generous size and much better than most fast food.
