Charm City Chocolate

What a cute little store that has all kinds of chocolates especially amazing chocolate and ice cream options. I came here because the owner of Common Ground Cafe talked about their ice cream sandwiches. So, when I came in I literally made a beeline to the case with the ice cream options. I settled on a double chocolate and peanut butter ice cream sandwich. Michelle, one of the owners, directed me to the back where I could sit and enjoy this amazing ice cream sandwich. It was a hot day and this is exactly what I needed to cool me off. First off the packaging is beautiful and in a box with the label on the outside. As a marketing major, I appreciate the branding:) As I sunk my teeth into the sandwich it was so rich and so good. I love a combination of chocolate and peanut butter. I also got a buckeye chocolate which was again chocolate and peanut butter and it just melted in my mouth perfectly. Michelle recommended this to me and I would definitely get it again. There are a ton of chocolate options and candy that you can just relish yourself in as soon as you come through the door. I can't wait to come back here and try something new. Plus, I love the way this shop is decorated and has so much natural light coming in.

I took far too long to go to Charm City Chocolate! I found myself in need of some chocolate gifts for the slew of family birthdays in my life. The pandemic is going on, so I wasn't sure who would be open locally. So glad they are! I placed an online order to be picked up from their location, contactless of course. I had a few questions about splitting up my order after I placed it and they were super helpful, answering my questions over Facebook messenger quickly and pleasantly. My pickup was ready and they even threw in some additional treats which was awesome, that way I got to try the goods! Soooo yummy. I got my mom the box of decorated truffles and she nearly cried opening them. My family loves chocolate lol, but she was so impressed by the designs. She has reported back that she loves them so much, especially the fruit flavors. I am SO happy to know Charm City Chocolate is so close to me and will definitely be back for gifts and for my own chocolate cravings :)

Todd and Michelle bring their talents to Baltimore with a nuanced southern twist. Opening about a week ago CCC is a welcomed addition to the hamlet that is Hampden. Their intimate store is bright, clean, colorful with polished glass, exposed brick and modular displays; simple, streamlined and aptly highlighting the various treats.Michelle was welcoming and explained the variety of chocolates they offer. Buckeyes, a classic pairing of chocolate and peanut butter with a namesake rooted in Ohio, were sold out, so you may wish to call ahead for availability.My SO purchased some almond bark; half milk chocolate, half dark chocolate. The former was creamy with a hint of sea-salt, the latter silky and dark... my favorite. I'm told they have been experimenting with roast times to enhance the nuttiness of the almonds - I agree a few more minutes would have been better.All in all a quaint and cute shop with a friendly proprietress. Worth checking out.

Holy crap- someone sent us a box of truffles. They are AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL. I'm not sure how they are made but each one looks like a little painting.

My husband bought me a custom box of chocolates for Valentine's Day from this amazing new gem in our neighborhood, Hampden! Packaged in a beautiful hot pink box was a delicious assortment of chocolates my husband picked out. Every single piece is/was DELICIOUS. I've almost devoured the whole box already. Some of my favorites were Marshmallow & Caramel, the Bon bons, Raspberry filled, and if you like Reese's cups you'll love their peanut butter cup. It's exactly what you'd expect a homemade Reese's to taste like. My husband said the woman helping him (he thinks is the owner) was very nice and helpful. So glad to have this new addition to the neighborhood. I'll definitely be stopping in soon to see what other candies and goodies they offer!

Love this place! I moved from the Baltimore area but anytime I am in Hampden I have to get chocolate. They also do online orders which is super convenient. The chocolate is soooo good! My favorite is dark chocolate with raspberry. The store is very cute. A great place to get a gift.

Finally, Hampden gets its own craft chocolate store!Not an extensive array of chocolates compared to the grandma-run empire of See's Candies, but this place is homey, locally run, and delicious.Get six in a box, will cost you about $6. Would love to see more flavors and additional truffles!

OK...My daughter discovered this wonderful, quaint, AMAZING store. She bought me a box as a gift and NOW I'm addicted! So I live in RALEIGH....and guess what????? I HAVE to buy these chocolates no matter WHERE I am!!! My husband just brought a box home, thank goodness. The smooth, creamy quality of all their fillings (peanut butter, coffee, etc) are amazing but it is the quality of the chocolate that is on the outside of those fillings is just perfect! We are picky chocolate people and before, used to eat Neuhaus from Belgium.. These chocolates are better than that! Thank you so much, Charm City Chocolates! PLEASE keep up the great work!

This shop is so adorable and the owner is so sweet! I loved the cake pops and buy them every chance I get. I also bought some for my coworkers and they loved too! I really love this place!!!
