Lid is not tight and leaks. Barista needs to lose the attitude. Iced mocha wasn't up to par as usual.Update: Asked for my coffee to be remade because it didn't taste chocolatey as usual, and was made perfectly. Was given a refund due to not liking it the first time and for waiting longer than usual. Lid can improve because it leaks a lot!

Ceremony is a Maryland based coffee roaster with three locations including one in Annapolis. Fortunately, they have a relatively late closing time of 7 PM, so we stopped by last Saturday evening after dinner. The interior is really nice and bright, with some long tree trunk decor near the window which was really neat. There were lots of beans and merch available for purchase.BEEHIVE - 7This is a summer 2024 seasonal drink, which is an espresso tonic that is bursting with flavors of honey, orange blossom, orange zest, and cardamom syrup (inspired by Arabian sweetbread). This was such a light and spritzy drink that was perfect for the late summer weather. The orange zest was prominent and same with the cardamom. I'm sad to hear it's only seasonal because I most definitely would get this year round.Overall, good coffee spot. My friends enjoyed the drip coffee they got here.

I visited this Ceremony location this week when I was in Annapolis for work. I realized I'd been before as I was driving towards the location, but I guess I forgot to review it at that time. I'm a fan of Ceremony Coffee (I visit their Baltimore City location semi-frequently; there's not one near me anymore), and this location is a pretty good one. Good service, good coffee, bright space. Plenty of parking since it's in a shopping center. My only gripe with it is the amount of seating they offer. It's not a tiny space, and I think they could get some more tables and seating in there with a bit of work. But they have 4-5 small tables and 1 or 2 high top tables with 6 or 8 seats at each. Not outlets that I could see, but there might have been some and I didn't notice. This is more seating than some smaller independent coffee shops have, but this isn't a tiny space. The way it's laid out and tables they have inside keep it from being a really great place to work. But I enjoyed my cappuccino while I replied to a few emails!

Ceremony is possibly the best coffee in Maryland. I may even go as far to state that they may also be the best spot for most creative espresso concoctions. If it is your first time visiting, go for one of their seasonal offerings! Also, if you venture in during the morning, grab a breakfast sandwich--SO GOOD =)My only complaint is that the to-go cups never have tops that stay in place or not leak. I have never left without asking for a different top or to take two cups due to the over spilling and caving in. Also, do not go by their "featured" menu on Facebook since it has not been updated since 2018. It is best to use their Instagram for the most updated drinks and specials.

Ceremony was convenient for me to grab a quick coffee because I was in the area. This place is nice, the store is clean and the staff are friendly. My only complaint might be paying 4 to 5 dollars for a flat white that's only 8oz. That's pretty small, but it was decent. If you want more for your dollar I'd go to another coffee place. The coffee should've either been less money or a little larger in size.

Chow is fantastic. He worked with me to find exactly the drink that works for me. He is honest and when I accidentally ordered two drinks he remembered me and reimbursed me the next time he saw me. He clearly takes pride in his work and I highly recommend all of their products! Wifi seems available as many people go there with laptops etc. Can get loud, as it is an open room.

Great, fresh coffee? I even had a cream cheese danish which was excellent. The ambience was rustic and industrial. Cool vibe.

Tl;dr -- Check everything you buy and make sure they didn't just slap a sticker over the bag printed label to up charge you for a coffee you didn't want-- pictures attached. I've been drinking Ceremony coffee for a solid 3+ years and have loved every bit of it, until this past weekend... I bought a bag of Peru Cenfrocafe, but when I brewed it, tasted it and looked at it, it didn't seem right. The tasting notes that I got were different than what was listed, which made me look at the bag more closely....What I found was a Peru Cenfrocafe label, placed over top of a Climate Project printed bag... pictures attached. I reached out to Ceremony directly through their Instagram page since their website doesn't have a contact listed for inquiries... picture attached...This was sent to them at 7:38 am on 9/2/2024, to which I've received no response, though, they've read it...I sent them my issue along with pictures of the Climate Project coffee bag with the Peru Cenfrocafe sticker label over top... along with other pictures of multiple other bags I have that have NO label printed on the bag, underneath of the sticker label... pictures attachedI cannot in good faith recommend this company to others now, under the sheer fact that we as consumers do not know what coffee we are getting now, not to mention the false advertising on the bag of "Peru Cenfrocafe" that I bought, actually being a bag of Climate Project..... also forgot to menton the price difference between those 2 bags of coffee...So, all in all, I'm not really sure what they're trying to do as a company, but I'm not a fan of it in the least...

I was in Annapolis for the weekend, and decided to stop here on a whim. I wanted a good cup of regular coffee for the road that wasn't from Dunkin or Starbucks. The barista that helped me was very friendly and upbeat. I ordered a medium coffee, but it seemed barely bigger than a Starbucks tall. I ended up being really disappointed by the flavor of this coffee. Every sip tasted sour. Coffee can have a lot of flavors--sour shouldn't be one of them.
