It was a rainy, chilly day in December when we visited this coffee shop in the Cross Street Market. This is a delayed review but I have been thinking about writing it every day since we were there. I would lay in bed in the middle of the night and chastise myself for slacking on my yelp reviews, but in the daytime I didn't have the energy to do much more than the bare minimum. Freaking Seasonal Depression.Ceremony physically sets itself apart from the rest of the market. While most of the food offerings are stalls, Ceremony has its own large area and its own doors. You have to go into the market and then through more doors to access the coffee. There's a small lounge area for working on your computer, a couple of tables... it's clean and sparse and kinda cold (not in temperature but in feeling). This is not the kind of place I would normally frequent but Jeremy is a coffee fanatic. Thing is, even he doesn't like these kind of places. I guess he couldn't find a cup of plain black coffee at any of the food stalls we tried. He gets overwhelmed by all the flavors and roast choices. He wasn't impressed with his coffee either. This man loves black dunkin coffee, some sort of medium roast. The most basic coffee. Something your grandfather would have drank. This was basic but froufrou, simultaneously. No need to return.

I love this ceremony! It's very spacious and has a lot of seating for people who want to get their work done. The couch area is very comfortable too, and is right by the window for some natural lighting. I love that ceremony does seasonal drinks. During the summer, I loved their terrapin latte (it has old bay! Which was surprisingly good). And now that it's fall, they have a new menu! I got the ube drink and it was AMAZING. Super rich ube flavor. Tip: I like this drink better hot than cold! The staff is friendly and will offer drink suggestions!

I haven't been to Ceremony coffee in years. I decided to go today since I was in the area. I ordered the Sugar and Spice and liked it. It sounds sweet but it was not. I really enjoyed it but I just thought the price point was too high. I like the ambiance in the Cross Street coffee shop. It was large enough to do work and quiet and there were a lot of people hanging out.

Clean, spacious, friendly space to have coffee or tea , either to take out or hang out there - plenty of sitting arrangements. Several folks were working on their laptops when I came in- what a good idea. We were in a rush this time and got an americano to go. Very good coffee I must say, and I am very picky about coffee ( and do not like an over roasted Starbucks)

It's cute. The decor is cool and relaxed. When you enter you are greeted immediately with a smile. The location has lots of seating and this was my 2nd time and I was always able to get a seat. I ordered a Chai Latte with Oat milk and sugar free vanilla. It was warm and cozy with nice notes. I am not a coffee drinker and they had tons of tea options and other non coffee drinks. I'll be back to try others. I also got a muffin I believe called vegan morning glory with coconut and other yummy stuff it was very light and tasty. I was able to get a lot of work done in a comfortable atmosphere. The issue. While I was looking at the menu the barista was working in another area. The iPad was facing me and I thought I was supposed to just put my order in so I started to place my order. The barista came over and I asked if I was supposed to put my order in, they nicely said no and twisted the iPad. They then asked what I wanted, I told them I already put it in and they told me they deleted what I did. So I had to tell them it over agin. I mentioned to them that while on the iPad I found things that are not listed on the menu. For example the Sugar Free Vanilla and the military discount. The barista did not seem apologetic or open to fixing the issue that they have things available that aren't on the menu. I would ask the establishment try to fix this problem.

It's so so coffee with limited pastry options. The space is big though so if you need a place to study or hang out, there shouldn't be a wait, but it lacks a cozy cafe vibe. The service was ok as well. Not super welcoming or friendly. I much prefer the other coffee place nearby called Morning Mugs.

Coffee here is always great (overpriced like the rest of them, but great). But let's get into the customer service!!! I will certainly return here for the barista, Charlie. He was hilarious, warm, engaging, informative, everything you want in a barista. It really felt like family the minute we walked in, so I will be back!!Also, they had some fun and witty holiday drinks that were delicious!! "Gettin Figgy With It" "Who Let the Nog Out," and "Glen Coco" were our favs.

I don't necessarily like coffee, but the drinks here were so delicious it might have changed my mind. I really enjoyed the girls+ghouls drink and the staff was so nice here. I love the open windows and natural light as well, great ambiance! However, we ordered the fig prosciutto and goat cheese flatbread and let me just say: it took too long to come out and didn't taste good at all -- the prosciutto was off, the bread was not flatbread material, and overall was too salty. I would highly recommend this place for drinks, but maybe skip the flatbreads!

the ambiance is outstanding for studying, beautiful, modern, quiet, luxurious. there were some people quietly studying. however, the taste of the matcha drink was quite bitter for my liking. also, i asked for dairy milk and they replied "oat or almond?" , and then they charged me for that milk :(
