The cellar Door lies at the bottom of a set of stairs, literally in the cellar of a building. The stairs are not easy to use, but the effort is worth it.1. The decor is historical in nature, which is cool.2. The music honestly was a bit too loud for me3. I will say that the mushroom toast, is out of this world4. We were there on burger night - the burger was declared amazing.5. the Fish and Chicps was ok, the fish a bit dry and the fries were really salty.Then desert arrived. Wow. The Creme Brulee was stunning, and the cheesecake was produced amazingly. The food quality was high. Both orders of Fries were well a lot to salty. Evyerhthing was perfect. The ambiance was stunning as well.Definitly on our list of places to visit again!

Yikes. My experience here was terrible. However the owner/manager was very nice and accommodating. My suggestion would be to have the servers write down orders so they don't forget items or bring back the wrong items. The nachos were really good. I ordered the Salmon entree and I did not like it at all. It was very dry and didn't taste like anything. The karaoke event was fun.

I've visited this place 3 times. First time the food was great, service was great, but I had an issue with my bill. I paid with my card and left a cash tip. When I checked my bank transactions I noticed the amount was different than what I signed for. I called and spoke with the manager and she informed me that because they did not have my receipt at the end of the night so they automatically chose a tip amount and added it to my bill. The manager did offer a refund or an in store credit. The second time there were no issues I came and spent the in store credit.The third time I convinced a group of friends to come to enjoy the food and karaoke. I was very embarrassed immediately as I had spoken so highly of the place and we were immediately disappointed starting with the drinks. We sent drinks back several times because the bartender couldn't get it right and the manager had to make it herself. The appetizer was great but the actual meal was dry. The manager did try to rectify all issues that arose. She comp'd several items and also gave a discount.

They have a pretty decent happy hour menu. The drinkAre delicious and there are some tasty seasonal drinks. They also have some pretty good food on happy hour. I really enjoyed the goat cheese fritters though the portion size was a bit small.

Came here for drinks midday on a weekday. The place was empty, but it was still a cool vibe. The bartender felt appropriate for an underground bar, a little dark and sarcastic, but he was helpful and willing to chat. We got a few beers and just hung out. I would definitely come back for another drink again.

Yummmmmm. My friends and I visited this place after we had a girls day at a nearby winery. We were sat immediately and the staff was so polite. We asked our server for suggestions and she definitely delivered . I wish I could remember her name. The food was so flavorful. One of my friends mentioned the sliders were a bit dry, but dipping it in the jam that came with the fritters brought it back to life. The hibiscus margarita was . We left before the dj got there, but I could tell it would've been a good time. Definitely going back!

From the moment we walked into the restaurant on February 7, 2025, we knew we were going to have a great experience, and we were certainly right! The general manager Amber Nicole was amazing! She made sure we were perfectly seated and well taken care of. Our server, Kelli, was terrific! The food and drinks were phenomenal! Alyssa and Sims (I hoped I spelled their names right, if not I apologize) are the best bartenders, they will take care of you. They will recommend great food, great cocktails/brews, and great karoke vibes. Hence the phrase "always trust your bartenders"

I've never have been in the Frederick area - came to this bar with my friends, had a few drinks then was dancing with all of my friends on the dance floor. It was a good atmosphere dancing with everyone..... then all of the sudden someone GRABS my arm and says "you need to leave." I asked the person that told me if I could have a second to gather my belongings and I was able to. I was not drunk whatsoever neither were any of my friends. This was unacceptable, uncomfortable and unprofessional. I've never been treated like this in my life. I think it was a discriminatory act. Do not come here unless you are okay randomly being asked to leave with no reason.
