We made the drive from Potomac to Germantown specifically to support Caspian, going out of our way for what we hoped would be a great experience. Unfortunately, it was anything but. The restaurant was completely empty when we arrived, and our takeout order was ready on time. However, upon returning home (a 20-minute drive each way), we discovered that the kubideh kabob was undercooked--raw in some parts--and inedible. Even the cooked portions tasted bitter, like baking soda. Consuming undercooked red meat is dangerous, and this was simply unacceptable.Desperate to salvage the meal, we even tried cooking the kabob further at home to see if it would help, but it didn't. While the joojeh was fine, it didn't make up for the disaster of the kubideh. When we called to address the issue, we eventually received a return call from the owner or manager. While they apologized, they insisted we drive the kabob back to get a refund--even though we had clear pictures showing the uncooked meat. They explained this was necessary to "prove" the kitchen staff was at fault and that the refund would be deducted from their pay (!).For less than $100, we were expected to return in the rain, with guests at home waiting for food, to get a refund. This short-sighted and frankly unprofessional response from the owner ensured we will never return. Ultimately, we had to order pizza to feed our guests. The lack of accountability and customer service ruined what could have been a great experience. If you're considering Caspian, save yourself the time, effort, and frustration--we certainly wish we had.

I love a good persian restaurant (i think they are persian?), and this might be my error in not ordering enough, but i found their plate to be relatively lacking in variety. I ordered the lamb kabob, and it came with a skewer of a Lamb with a mound of rice and 1 grilled tomato. I would have liked to see more veggies or maybe a bit of sabzi mixed in.the lamb was fine, but not exceptional. if the lamb alone was not enough to carry the flavor load of a full plate of basmati rice with just a tomato for support.

I remember this place when they were in smaller spot across the street. That was their first location. IMHO, they are 10x better than Mobys. The flavors are so much better and taste homemade. I love their Kubbieh Kabobs. Which is ground beef. Seasoned perfect. I always go for the platter with extra meat on the side. Rice is good. I love the grilled tomatoes. I always ask for extra tzakiki sauce. Yum! Ask for sumac as it will make the flavors pop even more! Then pita bread is made on site. Once in a while, ill treat myself to some baklava. But it's decent. Depends on how it looks.Service is great. I recommend calling ahead if you're getting it to go, they get busy during the lunch rush. They have a location in the Kentlands but this location is better.

The food was good, but they serve outside orders better than inside customers. The environment was noisy. Parking was good.

This place used to be great, their kabobs are still pretty good, but something happened to how they prepare rice, and it's been this way for the last couple of months. It is not very good, soft and mushy. I suggest to get their kabobs with bread, not with their rice, get rice from some other place, like Moby Dicks

This place is hands down the best Kubideh Kabob one can find. It is so damn tasty and order it with veggies if you want to go low carb. I tried other places and this place has been my go-to when it comes to kabob for over the last 20 years. There is a reason this place has been around for decades. Service is outstanding, if you order several plates, they'll even offer to put it in a little serving tray for you, which I always find useful when ordering for parties.

No wonder this place was empty when we walked in, that's because the food tastes horrible!I love kabobs, kubideh and so on but the food I received here was bland, greasy and disgusting. They didn't season it at all! I couldn't get rid of the gross aftertaste. Imagine paying $50 for food just for it to be inedible! The girl up front wasn't on top with her customer service either. I strictly do not recommend this place.

Went here yesterday for dinner with my husband. The place is spotless, super clean inside and out. The service was great, the man that served us was attentive, and very friendly. Food was great, I loved the hummus and the meat was very flavorful. When your in the dining room you feel at home, it seems very cozy. Will definitely be back again soon! :)

Great Food! Even the rice is amazing, the chicken or Filet kabobs are the best in town!
