Casapulla's? Yes please! I came on a rainy day in the middle of the day, middle of the week which was perfect because there was only two other people there who were picking up orders they called in. I was able to order immediately and they cooked my cheesesteak quickly and to perfection. I've been going here regularly since I moved to the area two years ago and they never disappoint. This time I had extra grilled onions and sweet bell peppers on my sandwich, which they didn't have before: the choices used to be just sweet peppers or hot peppers. The sweet bell peppers gave the sandwich a nice sweet and savory touch. The steak they used is always tender and flavorful and the rolls are nice and fresh and able to hold up to the juices from the meat-never soggy (this is important for those of us who do not like soggy bread).Please note that if you come in the evenings or weekend it is very busy and it's worth it to call ahead or you'll wait a while for your food to be ready. But if you have the time to spare it's nice to browse the vintage candies and snacks they have on display that are hard to find anywhere else as well as all the autographed pictures of famous people who've come there showing its long history as a staple in the area. Nice hometown sandwich shop feel. I highly recommend!

I have been an avid supporter of Casapullas steak shop for many years. Recently a new hire has really made me question my loyalty to their establishment. This woman is familiar to me as she worked at Boston market in my neighborhood. I have witnessed her stealing from the register and just being plain out rude to both customers and employees alike. This to me is egregious. I can no longer frequent this once loved establishment due to the reprehensible behavior displayed by this woman.

This is the Casapulla's with the famous Italian Sub. This is the one that you want. One of the best sandwiches in the world. Get the Italian.Casapulla's Elsmere is off the beaten path and nestled in a residential neighborhood. Aside from the world famous Italian sub, they have a variety of other subs and sandwiches. They have an eclectic array of chips, candies, sodas, Ice Cream, Items imported from Italy - It's a very nostalgic shop. The owner has worked there since he was 14 - when his father owned it.Get the Italian!*Because people drive from far away to get their subs, they will pack it for travel if you request it -

Casapulla's is an incredible Italian deli that offers fantastic food. I would recommend either a sun or a cheesesteak. For subs, the Italian is a culinary work of art.I would definitely recommend.

Great subs, ordered ahead and everything was ready and delicious. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. They sell chips and drinks in the store.

Needs more meat! Didn't use to be stingy.I remember not that long ago they gave you what you paid for, now you have to pay extra to get what you should get in the first place. Best flavor though!

This business is authentic! I'm a New Yorker with a lot of family in Delaware. This is the other side of Italian cuisine. They should put it on the National Register.
