I ordered food from this place twice and I can say the food is delicious, balanced and so colorful. The portion size is great and complete worth of money. The dishes mostly comes with a salsa salad or some greens which adds a wonderful kick to the whole platter. Parking is available around the restaurant and it can accommodate big group as well. Keep in mind that the ambience is a bit rustic with loud music and diverse group of people.

I live in the neighborhood and I have come here a few times. The food is good and authentic. I've had the chimichanga, burrito and tacos. All were flavorful. Both ladies I've had as servers were very nice. The drinks were strong and inexpensive. If you don't like strong, don't you may not like them. There can be a bit of a language issue at times. I asked for no beans and extra rice and that is not the way it came out. That said, the beans did taste very good.I will be back again.That said, note that there are literally more than 5 Mexican spots within 3 blocks of this spot so try them all.Carolina's, however is one of the ones open latest for that midnight craving.

Cute little spot on Wolfe and eastern! I came here after a grumpy day at work and the lady who was working was so kind to me. I ordered a quesadilla and asked if I could have corn instead of a flour tortilla. She was very accommodating and offered me chips while I waited since it was carry out. Overall very very good. The chorizo was handmade and it wasn't too spicy or overbearing. The portion was also very big!!!

Stopped in for lunch for the first time. I got a chicken Burrito that came with rice and beans. It was delicious. The girl who waited on me was very sweet and pleasant. I will definitely go there again when I'm in the area.

I was worried when I saw it was named after another place that didn't get good reviews. I got a pupusa, chicken nachos, and a cuban. The nachos were amazing, top notch. The pupusa was good, I admit I never had one so I can't comment on its authenticity, but it was good. The cuban, I don't know why I got this, you shouldn't order items "out of scope" for a restaurant it never goes well. Actually, it wasn't bad, it could of used another slice of pork and ham, but with fries for 9 bucks... BUT they forgot the pickles! It would have been a decent cuban without that transgression :P Over all I pleasantly surprised and will order from them again.

Excellent experience at Carolina's! I ordered tacos de lengua, tostones, and tamales. Each was absolutely delicious. The tostones were so crisp and flavorful, the lengua wonderfully tender, and the tamales de pollo were a great value and super tasty. It made a special Christmas day for me. Totally encourage people to order out from here!

The food presentation was great, but the entire order was wrong. We did a delivery order and it was supposed to be enchiladas with zero protein. Just cheese. We selected red sauce and asked for no sour cream. That order ended up being chicken enchiladas in cilantro cream sauce with sour cream. We also ordered the vegetarian tacos which were describes as black beans and onions, but we got tacos with cauliflower and broccoli and carrots and squash and no beans at all. I called to try to correct the order but they were laughing and eventually hung up on me. It's kind of a shame too because the presentation looked outstanding, but the experience was horrible. I guess my advice would be if you're gonna order something from here maybe avoid delivery all together. Or if you do order delivery just know that all of the selections on their menu will be ignored. And I would say definitely do not try to order their vegetarian items because you just don't know what you're going to get!
