I came here because Yelp reviews had it as better than another Caribbean spot closer to my house, so I thought I'd come out and see what was going on. The place is in the bottom floor of an apartment complex, kinda out the way. It looks like any typical eatery of this type. No AC or anything, just chairs and tables. I ordered two boneless jerk chicken platters and two sides of coco bread. It came out to around $32. The bread was pretty good, and, at $2.70, cheaper than most breads I've gotten around here. The chicken was somewhat spicy, but not flavorful, if that makes sense. The rice and peas were ok. Cabbage was great, and it even comes with two plantains, which was a nice addition. The guy working the counter was rather polite. In all, I don't think I'll be coming back, and probably just sticking to my go-to place. It's a bit pricier, but the added value in flavor makes it well worth it. Food: 6/10Drinks: N/AService: 10/10Aesthetics: 6/10Value: 7/10Overall: 29/40

The sign on Cherry Hill Road still says Unforgettable Flavors and the Cove is in the same basement level nook in the 7 Springs apartment complex (look for the catering van parked at street level) but Chef Neville has moved up the road to Mad Cow. Had to see if the vibe remains.Same cozy space, deserted when I stopped in for a take out supper. Same collection of Caribbean soft drinks. Menu is pretty much the same. Jerk chicken, of course. Very generous portion for $10, and includes braised cabbage and nice moist rice & beans sides even though the menu doesn't mention that. The chicken is boneless chunks, and I didn't miss the splinters at all. Seasonings were complex with just enough scotch bonnet for a good scalp sweat but not punishingly hot.Food is not up to Chef Neville's brilliance, but very tasty and a good value. I'll be back.

Unfortunately you waste time here. They cancel your order randomly at any given moment. My order was cancelled after already waiting 30 min for a simple curry chicken dish due to them being closed at 1:30 pm even though their website says they're open.

A true hidden gem in College Park, I'd eat here everyday if I still lived in Maryland. Located in an apartment complex of Cherry Hill, I came here with a friend on a Tuesday night. It was completely empty, which isn't surprising given the location. The store is run by one man, so he takes your order and cooks your food too. Talk about a guy that can do it all!My friend has been here multiple times, and told me he orders the goat stew most of time, and he ordered it again that night. I ordered the oxtail pasta. Within 10 minutes, our food was ready. My pasta was delicious - the oxtail was so tender, and the sauce that he made was so savory. It coated the pasta extremely well. I tried some of my friend's goat curry too, and it was insanely good. I don't even really like goat, but there was no denying that the goat was incredible. The guy there is extremely friendly, we got into a talk about his Thanksgiving preparations, how he cooks his food, etc. He also is willing to customize your dish to your liking, which I love. The interior is actually pretty nice. Each table has table cloths and some nice basic décor. There's plenty of parking in the apartment complex, and the spot is located on the lower level of one of the buildings, so be on the lookout.Definitely a slept on spot. Nothing to complain about, it's food that's good for your soul. Go support right now!

Found this place via Yelp. I got the jerk chicken wrap and fries. It came to less than $10. The fries were nice and hot and so was the wrap. The chicken was moist and flavorful. I ate half of the food when I ordered and then the rest I had for lunch the next day. I'll definitely come back again.

This place used to be Unforgettable Flavors. I knew something was different because there was no Rasta Pasta on the menu oh and also because I had a review that's disappeared. This dude is the real deal. Escoveitch snapper that will make you smack your mama, rice and peas perfection, the jerk here is SO GOOD and without any tiny little bones yuk. I also like their curry cabbage and Rasta pasta. I noticed this time though, there was no plantain, dumpling, or festival with the dinner platters, which was disappointing; that said, the food was so good I didn't think about it until we were in the car in the way home. Also, carbs. My 5 year old had the fish and chips and he dedicated himself to eating the whole thing. He also reminded me that he had leftovers the next day and ate the fish first!!The spot is a hole in the wall located on the ground level of an apartment building. No ambience to speak of, it's decidedly for Families with kids, comfortable relationship phase or takeaway, but it is SO GOOD!!! I highly recommend.

Food was great. I dont normally frequent the same place for food but had to double back within the same week to try again. Once again it was awesome! I had the jerk, curry/jerk, escovitch snapper, beef patty, and 4 different egg rolls, all delicious.

Ordered a jerk chicken roti which came unassembled and I was so disappointed to open the container to see chopped chicken pieces swimming in sauce.... please see the pic. It was not tasty and I would not recommend that dish. Definitely not what you expect when you're craving jerk chicken. Two thumbs down

I visited this on reference from a college friend and invited my mom to come with me. The traditional Jamaican food was exactly what was needed to stall my cold's attempt at victory. Food was served HOT! The jerk was an impressive tasting dish and according to my Jamaican mother, the oxtail was the true star. This restaurant is nestled in a complex so be sure to keep driving until you are notified! If you are in need of solid and flavorful Jamaican cuisine. I encourage you to stop by!

Oh hell yes! I used to come here a while back when it was Unforgettable Flavors, and I was very excited to learn that new ownership had moved in. Chef Paul is incredible! Some of the best Jamaican food I've ever had. I had the red snapper, rice & peas, and cabbage. Also had a curry chicken patty and got to try a saltfish and ackee eggroll(!!). Amazing. Excellent service as well. Don't sleep on this spot!!**located in the Seven Springs apartment complex**
