This place is sort've ick. As much as I love to support kosher places, I don't love Caramels. My husband loves their ice cream and cheese fries. I've only had their sushi and fries. Sushi tasted like BBQ sauce (what?!) and their fries were meh. The atmosphere wasn't anything to write home about. I strongly recommend to the owners to clean it up a bit, add some more options to the menu (preferably healthier ones) and get some decent sushi or getting rid of the sushi all together.

I've been to Caramel's a handful of times and I've always thought the experience was just OK. Their pizza is decent, but nothing special. The atmosphere is not the best. I mean it's passable for a pizza shop, but run down throughout, and in need of updating.

Each time I eat at Caramel's pizza I am more disappointed than the time before. Their sushi is mediocre. The pizza is soggy and tastes like steamed cardboard. The owner is impatient and unreasonable. I was there for all you can eat sushi (which was badly overpriced) and a friend wanted to step out for a cigarette but the obnoxious owner wouldn't let him leave the building for 5 min for a smoke. I highly discourage anyone from eating here.

I called in a simple order -- two cheese pizzas, one french fry and one onion ring. They told me 15 minutes. I took 20 minutes to get there and was ready to pick the order up and leave. Nope! They had one pizza up on top of the oven so I thought they had started my order but I was very wrong. They hadn't started my order and it took another 25 minutes to get it done. I couldn't grab the attention of any staff to ask about my order either. My son missed his martial art lesson and I was VERY grumpy. The pizza was pretty good (the sauce was too sweet but the crust was good) and the onion rings were better than I expected but the service - yuck. I won't go there again.

The ice cream is decent, but the place is a bit dirty. Will have to come back for their pizzas and hummus.

Excellent ice cream AND pizza! And stupid me, I thought (having grown up in Pikesville in the '50s, '60s, & '70s) I would be discriminated against because I'm not Jewish, but the owner/manager treated me great, just like he did his other customers. But this review is about food, and I guarantee you won't find better pizza or ice cream in Pikesville - or anywhere else, for that matter!
