Captain Harry's Seafood

We were visiting friends who recently moved to Maryland for some housewarming and we insisted that they get down and dirty with some crabs (not those crabs, guys) as they were now MD residents.Yelp led us to Captain Harry's as the closest location, although after having gorged ourselves on their crustaceans, we would have definitely traveled further to get our hands (and mouths) on those babies.We placed an order for 2 dozen steamed female crabs (mixed sizes) as the females were significantly cheaper than the males, at $35 for 2 dozen. We were a little nervous ordering females, being from South Jersey near the shore, and in our experiences the females can run small and short on meat. This was absolutely not the case with our order from Captain Harry's. The females were surprisingly and over-satisfyingly meaty and filling. We actually were all discussing how much bigger the males could possibly be and that we didn't think we could even finish 2 dozen males (and we were 2 women and 2 men in our 20s and 30s.) They were seasoned just right and we were all licking our fingers between breaking open crabs just to savor the spices.We're driving back up to our home in Philadelphia as I write this review and we're still talking about the crabs! I had to write a review for Capt. Harry's as we were raving in the car about it and I have to say we all absolutely recommend treating yourselves or your guests (or us) to some crabs from this little local shack. You won't regret it.

These were the sweetest crabs I have had in years.We got the Jumbos $100 a dozen, not the biggest but were full. Great crabs for the middle of May.

Outstanding crabs and friendly people. We had gone there for years. Then we moved to Florida for awhile. But we're back and the first place we thing about for crabs is Captain Harry's. The best customer service around especially Kris. Can't wait to go back!

Ex large size .......$75 per DZJumbo size ..........$90 per DZThat is what I order this week ,sounds good ! Service so far is good , also they accept all major credit card too ! If you want more jumbo size crabs ,give couple days for them to save for you !Inside the store nice and clean ,not too big store ,you can see everything clearly !

Gave this small crab house a try and i'm glad I did. Very reasonable prices for very good quality crabs. Will be returning.

this place. I can call in an order & it's ready to be picked up at the time specified. Crabs & corn are what I usually order & I tell you it's always delicious.

The crabs were heavy and delicious. Well worth the drive. Loved the spices they use on the crabs. Called and they had the crabs ready by the time we got there. Will definitely go back.

I ordered 6 dozen of crabs last weekend, 4/dz Medium and 2/dz large for a get together. The mediums were smalls at best and larges were watery. Will not be doing business with them again. I was extremely disappointed as they were one of the more expensive prices around. $55/dz for mediums and $75/dz larges. So after spending over $350 and looking forward to quality crabs since the price was higher than other places. They say "you get what you pay for" I guess this time that doesn't apply. Be weary of this place.

Excellent crabs, corn, & shrimp! Workers are friendly and honest. My go to crabhouse! They also have yummy snowballs.

Tried Captain Harry's for the first time yesterday, splurged on Extra Large males for $90 a dozen. Size-wise they were big however most of them were light and a couple just flat out had almost nothing in them. Why would you even sell crabs like that and for $90 a dozen? First time trying it and last time going there.
