You must try the tortellini salad, it's AMAZING! Aside from that, I got a meatball sub and it was honestly perfect. The meatballs were well made and seasoned, the sauce was tangy with a hint of sweetness, and holy cheese Batman! The bread was the perfect companion for this sub. The service was quick and the prices are as to be expected. I can definitely see myself ordering from here again.

Food is consistently on point. Great selection of sandwiches, subs, paninis and wraps. Nice selection of salads and pastas. Rice balls are the golden egg here and not very well advertised so ask for one. This is a must stop.

Our daughter thought that Cannella's would be a quiet spot for a very informal dinner, and she was so right. Wow, we could not have picked a better place to have a "Going Away" party for our grand-daughter and her fiancée. They had a table reserved for us when we arrived. Claire, Cynthia, and Kat were so welcoming, friendly and attentive. They really went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect, and it was. We ordered the following: Spinach & Rice soup, 2 Classic Cheesesteak subs, Paesano Deluxe sub, Meatball Parmesan sub, The Original San Marino, The Godfather sub, Toscano Panini, Grilled Chicken Buffalo Wrap, Chicken Cheesesteak, Chicken Parmesan sub, and 3 orders of French fries. Everyone was in Italian food heaven - all of our meals were freshly prepared with the finest ingredients. It was so nice that the owner, Domenico Cannella, came over and introduced himself. I always love meeting a fellow countryman. We swapped stories of where our families were from in Italy. He gave me a piece of Peanut Butter Pie to take home and try. Oh my, it was so decadent. Thank you so much for making our party wonderful!

When I pulled up, I thought the place was empty or closed. Once I got inside it was the cutest little place. They offer an array of authentic Italian dishes and desserts. The subs were good and they were able to make alterations to them. Service was nice and you can sit and eat inside as well. Will be going back for sure!

I was craving a cheesesteak, and knew that I would be in the Perry Hall /Nottingham/ White Marsh area on Wednesday to do some Christmas shopping with my mom at Target. So I used Yelp to find a place nearby that sold what I was looking for... The menu reminded me a lot of DiPasquali's, so I was pretty excited to check it out.We arrived around noon and every single table was taken - except for one that was labeled as "saved" or "reserved." Personally I was totally ready to sit there anyway, but my mom walked away as I was speaking to her (she does that a lot. She is a wet noodle and can't comprehend taking charge of a situation, and she can't imagine that her disabled daughter would have more of a backbone than she does), so we stood awkwardly around the front door for about 15 minutes, while we waited for our order to be ready. Then she decided to ask some random couple if they would share their table with us. They were kind enough to agree, so we did get a table, but like 10 minutes later the entire place emptied out and we had our choice of all the tables. We ordered quite a bit of food, and two of our sandwiches came out topped any old way, not at all the way that we had requested. I ordered a cheesesteak with mayo, grilled onions, hots (and cheese, of course) and it came with everything. Normally I wouldn't care, but I promised to share the sandwich with my boyfriend and he WILL NOT eat anything with lettuce on it. That's why we made sure to say we didn't want lettuce. They made us a new sandwich, and gifted us some fries too. It was a decent sandwich, but I have had MANY better cheesesteaks that didn't require this much effort to get correct. I'm an idiot because I didn't check the other sandwich my boyfriend ordered for later - an Italian cold cut. We didn't realize until we got home that it also had lettuce on it and he refused to eat it. Thankfully, I have no such hatred of lettuce on a sandwich so I will eat it sometime this weekend, but he was quite crestfallen when he discovered the... lack of interest of the staff in making sandwiches as ordered. Seriously, there's no reason to do this to customers, and after reading other reviews I see that this happens often.I also had some of their tortellini salad, but it didn't taste like much. It had celery, which I never associated with an Italian pasta salad. It was beautiful, but in my opinion everything that we ordered could have used a bit of salt, including the free fries. My mom had some kind of Italian cold cut. There are several of these on the menu, and since I wasn't at the register when they ordered I'll never know the proper names of the sandwiches they got. She only ate about a quarter of the sandwich because it was so stuffed and massive. She also had fried zucchini which was so delicious (with ranch dipping sauce). The zucchini was possibly my favorite item of the afternoon.Besides the abortive Italian cold cut (that was not the same as the one my mom got) my boyfriend ordered, he also got the The Porketta(Kaiser - $8.50 Sub - $11.50 : Roasted Italian pork loin sliced thin, then grilled to perfection with melted provolone, tomato and red onions and dressed with our signature oil & vinegar and grated cheese dressing) which was freaking AMAZING, and the reason why he doesn't harbor any resentment towards this establishment which clearly doesn't care much about satisfying its customers.Picky eaters this place probably isn't for you. People who get anxious when there aren't any available tables, this place probably isn't for you. It was decent enough, but we'll never return. There are too many delis, take out places, sub shops, etc to return to one that didn't care enough about us to make dining at their establishment seamless.

Of the two pizza places near our hotel in Vail, this one was better in terms of taste! Still not the best pizza I've ever had though. We ordered to go and had no issues picking up.

Any sandwich with their amazing honey mustard... I'm a fan of hot subs. Brings out the flavor. Cannella's has been a long time favorite of my wife and I. We've been eating here 15 years... and their hot subs really take that flavor up a notch. I've had every sandwich on the menu.... And if I need to make up my mind quick, it's either hot Godfather or The Tango. My wife's go to is the Fiorello... and sometimes gets Tango with ham instead of turkey... always with a side of onion rings (GENEROUS PORTION). So many great local sub places and if we had to pick only one in a month, Cannella's is it.

Delicious pasta and meatballs. The garlic bread? Yes please! Friendly service too! I'm glad I found Cannella's and that it's nearby. I'm just disappointed that I never knew about it before!

The arancini was large and wonderful, one of the best I ever had. The cheese steak was tasty but was a bit weak on meat, could add meat and charge more. Marinara sauce was delicious too.
