Callejeros Tacos

Such a hidden gem!! This place has the best breakfast burritos in the area hands down. The chorizo and steak breakfast burritos are so flavorful, big and come with the greatest red salsa and tomatillo sauce. Definitely stop by and try some food that's super cheap and filling. Love this spot!

Being Mexican I've always been really picky about where I pay to eat Mexican food. I've always felt I'd could just get better from a family member for free lol but I do come across some places that truly impress me. If you're at the flea market on route 1 or just happen to be around the area this is a nice little spot worth checking out. I just happen to be working in the area and decided to stop by for lunch and to my surprise when I walked in ..this place was featured on a episode of triple D. Lol So I said screw it and went all out for lunch. I dropped $16 on their famous machete! Which is essentially just a large sope/quesadilla.. my steak was okay. I really liked that they used authentic Mexican cheese that's melts perfectly and in terms of size you definitely get what you pay for. I really do appreciate that this place is one of the few places in the area that have anything like this. My dad had the fish and he received two hand made tortillas with it .. which is always a clear indicator of authenticity. I hate paying for nagged corned tortillas. Definitely made us happy! Owner was also super nice!

Reminder, this place was featured on the food network. Well seasoned authentic tacos are a must try while In the area. El Pastor is my staple but all tacos are pretty good. Sandwich? Their version of the cubana sandwich is large, features lots of different meats and yup, damn good. Don't forget the hot sauce!
