Moz C. "I am really late on this one. I ate there in October 2024 but I still dream about the place...I had a friend from out of town coming with me to a show in Baltimore. She let me choose the restaurant. I found that La Tavola makes an in-house gluten free pasta. HUZZAH! We got a trio of carpaccios got an appetizer. Then I ordered the fra diavolo with the house made strofe (the gluten free pasta). My friend ordered a Sardinian special. I could have picked the plate. Completely satisfied with my meal. The only thing that bothered me was the ambience. It felt cold, even though it wasn't temperature cold. We went on a Sunday night and it was pretty empty. That makes me sad because their food and service is amazing."

Kristina G. "What a find!We were looking for something unique to try before a show at the Hippodrome and this fit the bill. We made online reservations which was great because it got full quick. We were greeted by our wonderful server who was from Turkey and she was so helpful with the menu and enthusiastic about many of the menu items. The menus were on tablets which was different and kind of fun! We started with the hummus sampler that we received for checking in on Yelp. It came with warm bread that they quickly refilled when we ran out. The hummus was DELISH! It was smooth and flavorful and just perfect! We each got a glass of wine to drink and that was lovely and we also tried the "Turkish" milk "shot" and kind of sipped it before dinner. It tasted just like a good and plenty and it was nice and cold. I enjoyed it. For dinner I had this beef wrap that was spicy and sooo flavorful. It was like a turkish meatball of sorts and it was just so well done. The rice and yogurt sauce it was served with really completed the dish. Wow. My husband had this lamb stew that was out of this world. It reminded me of a peruvian dish I love - lomo saltado. It had that spice with onions and tomatoes and it was warm and comforting. Excellent. For dessert we had turkish coffee which was like an espresso and we shared the two desserts they recommended. The flan was perfect and light and the other one (kind of like a baklava but not lol) was super sweet so they complimented each other along with the coffee. We left so satisfied and happy with our choice and were so happy to find this gem during our evening in Baltimore!"

There is a separate window to receive orders, which makes the transaction very quick when you're in a hurry.Jerk wings are always on my order! I have to note that they do not have a traditional jerk flavor-- they taste more like baked wings, which are still very good."

They chit chatted off and on with white ppl at the car tho. Finally a hostess manifested after 5 mins and we had to verbally greet her to get her acknowledge us and tell her we had a reservation.Overpriced. Wasn't serving their brunch menu, DURING brunch times but it's still up on their website. We got two different menus so I couldn't even read about some items on the menu that my friend had. Had no idea until they were ordering things that I didn't have on mine. Ordered the blackened chicken sandwich. It tasted like it had been frozen before they started cooking it. The middle was soooooo tough. Did they take it off the bill, even after it was brought to the manager? NO Asked for fries with my sandwich. Didn't come. Asked for the fries again- took ten more minutes after asking both the waitress and the food runner. No ketchup offered- had to get up and go get it Inside from the bar.My friend ordered crabs and we waited AN HOUR FIR CRABS. There was a few ppl at the bar and 4 tables total outside and somehow my friend couldn't get their crabs. Then they had to find a crab cracker- COULDN'T FIND ONE! Waters were empty for 20 mins. Had to walk to the bar to get water. They NEVER came to refill waters, not once. They tried to pacify us w shots. Shots took 10 mins!Had to ask for the bill twice."

I've been eyeing this place for a while but I was skeptical because it's in a college town & I didn't want to be around annoying college kids lol. But I was pleasantly surprised to see a diverse crowd of all ages. There's plenty paid parking at $3/hour. There's no free parking at all, so make sure to budget for that. I recommend sitting outdoors, the patio is really nice with a tennis court, the perfect lighting, a swing and wall art.Service was amazing. The hostess was super sweet, we had a nice convo while I waited for my table. Our server was amazing, I'm sad that I didn't get his name, I would definitely request him again. He was attentive, friendly and made some great suggestions. He was also patient with us after we had a couple drinks lol!The food was good, nothing exceptional. I had the mushroom ravioli. As a vegetarian, I was super excited for this dish but not very impressed. It was flavorful and the texture was nice, but unfortunately it is dry. A sauce such as Alfredo would compliment this dish well. My buddies enjoyed their Bulgogi bowl and Margherita pizza. The drinks were amazing! I ordered a Long Island but received a Strong Island lol! I definitely recommend The Hall CP for your summertime hang out! Make sure to check out their happy hour from 4pm-7pm on Wednesdays- Fridays. Have fun and be safe!"

You can order from your phone or go to the bar and order your food. The pizza was overall pretty good, and the wings were great, too! They had Athletics for those who don't drink and their California mead was deliciously sweet. The only thing I thought was weird was that the pizzas are put on paper/cardboard circles and they gave us paper plates.Other than that, I'd love to come back and do some trivia and, of course, try their other drinks and meals!"

We wanted to make sure the meal would be great bc it was also our dad's 81st birthday and we didn't want another disappointment for him since the O's lost to the Angels. My sister is a semi-regular here and said it would be a good choice so we decided to give it a go.The meal started w warm slightly sweet yeast rolls and butter which were tasty and took the edge off. We all chose the side All American salad as our premium side with our entrees. I chose the basil vinaigrette dressing and loved it. Others enjoyed their blue cheese and ranch selections. For entrees, I got the 6 oz filet w a baked potato. This was a great choice and I even had leftovers. Our dad got the 7 oz sirloin and he was very happy with his selection. My brother got the chicken marsala over wild rice w steamed broccoli, delicious. And my sister got the pork chops in marsala sauce w mashed potatoes which was equally delicious. We were all stuffed so no dessert (even for the birthday boy), and we all agreed that we would definitely be back soon bc this meal was so good. Side note, we got all of this food for around $95 pre-tip so it was also a good value (esp after spending over $63 at Camden Yard for four hot dogs, three bottles of water and one fountain soda). We ended up sitting outside enjoying our food which consisted of brisket mac (to die for! an absolute must try!); wings with house wing sauce; fries; and the impossible burger. For drinks, we ordered from their Happy Hour menu - I got a glass of Pinot Grigio and a glass of Rose, while my husband ordered 2 rounds of the Sweet Heat mule (I tried it and it was ok ONLY because i'm not a fan of spicy stuff and this definitely has a kick to it, but other than that it was good). All in all - Food: brisket mac is an A++++++; wings were yummy, you could definitely tell they were smoked and grilled as the flavor was in each bite - I would like to try the old bay next time (yes, we will be back!); fries were bomb.com - they're shoestring, crispy, and delicious!; and my husband finished his impossible burger! We arrived a bit after happy hour (sad face), but it didn't stop us from totally indulging! The restaurant was pretty chill. It was early evening on a weekday, so it wasn't very crowded. Or waitress was really nice. She gave us pointers on what was good & what to try. We stayed with the mango margaritas, which were good. Sweet and strong. But that spicy jalapeño margarita was THE BOMB!!! We actually tried that flavor twice! It was refreshing, with complementing flavors of lime and Tajin. That was one of the most delicious margaritas I've actually ever had. We had the chips and guacamole for apps. The chips are house made and so dang GOOD! Crunchy with underlying flavors of lime & lightly seasoned with Tajin. The guacamole was fresh, cool, and tasty. We tried different tacos to see which ones we liked. My favorites were: the blackened shrimp, the Rus & Gus (deep fried shrimp, cheese, pico, grilled onions and sauce), and the chorizo. I came back a week later for and early dinner and had a TIME! Everything was just as delicious as the first trip, from the spicy margarita to the chips and guac to the tacos! The chips were so fresh that the ones I took home were still delicious the next day! If I'm craving some tasty tacos and a spicy lil drinky-drink, I'll drive on over to Banditos!"

I'm glad we did because this visit was so much better!Since I'm doing Dry January, I ordered a non-alcoholic cocktail called Apple of My Eye, and it was so good! The flavors of orange, cinnamon, and clove really stood out. I had to stop myself from finishing it before the appetizers even arrived. I love that they offer zero-proof cocktails! For appetizers, my husband and I shared the calamari, which was tasty. But if you order anything here, make sure it's the oysters! They were some of the best I've ever had. The Wellfleet oysters, in particular, were my favorite--so fresh. For the main course, my husband had the strip frites. While the portion was on the smaller side, the sauce was delicious, and the steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. I had the short rib rigatoni, and I really enjoyed it. There was a generous portion of tender short ribs mixed in. I had to pack the rest to go! For dessert, my husband was thrilled to see soft serve on the menu--it brought out his inner kid! I chose the apple streusel and loved it, especially the crunchy topping. Our service was outstanding. MICHAEL, our server, did an exceptional job. He was attentive, personable, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Truly a great guy! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and hope Rye Street Tavern continues to thrive. Started off with fully loaded nachos, which was not bad, also ordered beef empanadas which was empty inside, other than some cheese and countable pieces of ground beef, the inside of the empanadas was basically empty. Service: horrible. There were about 4 tables at the time when we were seated. Our waiter was a tall young male. He walked past us couple of times before came over to acknowledge us. When he was taking our orders, he was only looking at my husband, like I was invisible. After he took my husband's order, he walked right off, before I was even able to order anything. Ugh.... We had to wait till he came back around after 5-10 min to place my order. With service like this, there's no way I will stay nor to order anything else. Atmosphere of the restaurant of quiet during our visit, they were not busy at all, with several servers just hanging around the bar. Don't think I will return to this location, my time is too valuable to gamble for another horrible service experience with mediocre food. Do not recommend."

Lots of ground beef in a classic tomato sauce. Good, but nothing mind blowing for the price.Polipo- Prominent grilled flavor. Juicy octopus. All the flavors complement eachother well. Nice and zesty from the lemon and pickled red onion. Rich and slightly garlicky mashed potatoes. The sauces are all different and go so well. Awesome presentation. A treat to experience!!Ravioli con bacon - thick cream sauce, Smokey bacon. Boyfriend says it doesn't feel too heavy. Proportions are just right.Almond cake- dense and delicious! Not too sweet. He loved his spicy margarita and that the bartender used fresh jalapeños. The chips dip plate was a huge portion! We focused on the happy hour tacos menu and ordered 5 to share. Our favorites were (in order) Al pastor, carnitas, nashville hot, pollo asado, chicken Tinga. We were able to place drink orders as we waited for the rest of the people to arrive. Everyone was able to order drinks and pay for them separately. There was a small table set up to serve yourself appetizers. The appetizers were spring rolls and wings. Both were delicious. Everyone's meal was pre ordered. Each meal came out nice and hot. The service was top notch. Not one person had a complaint about anything. My aunt bought her own cake and cake plates but, they supplied the cutter and utensils. Right before cake champagne was served. The DJ even paused and played happy birthday as we sang it. They mentioned it several times throughout the night that it was my aunt's birthday. My aunt was happy. They really made her night. This is one business I would surely return to and give more business to.. For my meal I had jerk chicken with rice and beans which was delicious. The jerk seasoning on the side was pretty spicy but, I loved it. I also ordered the known Bob Marley drink. It was a little pricey but, it came in a nice tall glass.
