"Quick. Attentive. Polite. Accommodating. Clean. Delicious. Off the top of my head these words come to mind. I could go on and on but I think you get the point. Listen to this tho...get the steak tacos. I stole one from some else plate and whooooo it was so flavorful. Hope you enjoy."
"An ABSOLUTE favorite of mine!! I will go here at anytime of the day just invite me!!! They offer parking in the front and in the back, for free. It's right on RT1 so you'll be turning directly into the parking lot in front or the driveway to take you to the back. The wait staff is so nice and helpful, especially at the bar. The space is really big. Big enough for events and birthdays. There's nothing that I don't like on the menu. It's one of my favorite places to eat. Seafood pastaPupusa Shrimp Diablo PlantainFajita combination Cheesecake"
"I'm updating my review to talk about the service. I'm keeping the 5 stars because everything was great from start to finish. I came here with my family on a Monday evening, so it was pretty quiet. I wish I had gotten our server's name because he was so great and so patient. He's young and had a nose ring. The food is still very delicious, and I think it will be come my new favorite Tex Mex spot"
"Saturday night is for dining out.Well, it is for us!The house of Rico (casa being Spanish for house) was a Mexican restaurant we had yet to try.Well, until yesterday, and we should have gone before yesterday. The salsa was very good. That is critical for me in particular! We did get an appetizer, which is rare when, well, you get salsa and chips!1. The carne asada was amazing.2. The 3-in-one combo was pronounced as good, but it was too much food!3. The enchiladas were pronounced perfect.Overall, the food was great, and the flavors were spot on. We are Adding Casa Rico to our list of places to visit in the future!"
"Slipped in here on Cinco de Mayo thinking we'd have to wait a while but luckily we were seated right away. We got lucky. We started with frozen mango margaritas which were very good. And threw back some chips and salsa while waiting for our entrees. The spicy shrimp (camerones a la diabla) were really good with just the right amount of 'heat'. Accompanied with Mexican rice and salad made the meal feel balanced and not too heavy. My guy liked his tacos too. There were some small minor mishaps with our server forgetting things but we chalked it up to the large crowd. She was very good and really tried to stay on top of things. We both agreed we would come back again as overall it was a pleasant experience on an extremely busy day with solidly good food and drink. I have some good girlfriends to thank for the recommendation."
"Yummy The service at this location was amazing .... We ordered Togo it was fast and the food was delicious. Large parking lot and comfortable waiting area. The fish tacos were amazing I couldn't choose between tilapia or salmon so I got both."
"I am sooo happy to write this review. I had such an amazing experience at El Aguila Joshua our Bartender was amazing. He was very outgoing, welcoming, attentive, kind and down to earth. We had such an amazing time and my sister's drink was the best!! Even though he has just been there for 5 days, we hope you stay at El Anguila for a long time. Thank you for the way you welcomed us today. The food was amazing. We order "Camerones A Ajillo and Wings. My sister ordered Catalac Margarita .The ambience was so welcoming and we truly had such an Amazing time. Thank you Joshua for making this so special for us. And the music hit my heart they played one of my favorite songs "Oceans" a Christian song in Spanish. I'm so happy we got to enjoy this time beautiful time at El Anguila"
"Zen West is a neighborhood classic and favorite! Their grilled wings are truly one of Baltimore's best! You can never go wrong ordering the wings or the trio sampler which comes with a basket of warm (and delicious) tortilla chips."
"Staying at a nearby hotel and walked over for dinner. Food was DELICIOUS. Waitstaff was attentive. Highly recommend."

Whenever I'm in the area, I always make a point to stop by Chidos Mexican Restaurant and grab some food to go. The ceviche is my absolute favorite so far, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared! The customer service here is just as great as the food, everyone is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this spot for authentic Mexican cuisine!

Fantastic and affordable brunch experience. It was $30 per person, including soft drinks and desserts. Food options are plenty; don't be surprised if new items are added in the middle of the service. The seafood soup and the paella were delicious, as well as the mushroom steak--classic brunch items like waffles, pancakes, and omelet stations available as well. The entertainer was singing classic Spanish love songs the whole time. He was not loud, mellow background music; he was charming. We had a great time; all the servers were attentive and friendly. 10/10

Every time my wife and I visit Maryland we meet up with family and friends to enjoy some great food and company. It's always been a great experience for the most part, sometimes they are short staffed but, that seems to be the norm these days. I would recommend trying this place if given the chance.

A friend and I tried the new breakfast at Casa Rico this morning. My husband and I LOVED Tex Mex breakfasts when we were in San Antonio but have never found anything like it-until today. Casa Rico is now serving breakfast daily at 7am and the food is delicious, well priced, and generous portions. As a stay at home mom with my last kid in preschool breakfast dates with friends are a new treat, and Casa Rico will be my first suggestion anytime someone asks. My friend and I decided to get two entrees and share them. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and she ordered the Chilaques with steak. Both come with a sunny side up egg but we asked for our eggs over easy and they were perfectly executed-Cooked white, runny yolk. The Huevos Rancheros came with two corn tortillas piled with beans, egg, sauce and avocado. The Chilaques was the start-a mounding plate of flavor! We joked that next time we will just split the Chilaques with extra steak because we had leftovers. The steak was sliced into juicy strips, the sauces tortilla strips with still crunchy. We tried both the red and green sauces, the green was a winner for us! I also ordered a side of bacon for $2.50 and was presented FIVE slices of bacon. The service was perfectly attentive, our coffee and tea were always full. The restaurant was clean and well lit. Our meal was less than $35 for both of us which is a steal for the quantity and quality. If you find yourself in the mood to try a new breakfast spot, you won't regret rolling down to Casa Rico at the end of the Golden Mile.

7/14/2020 update:Social distancing in effect inside so much so that I was seated and waited longer than normal for the waitstaff to acknowledge my presence. After my chips and salsa and drink were delivered not a single time did I see a member of the waitstaff. No "can I fill you empty drink" or "wow you need some more chips". There were 4 guests in the entire place (but at 445, I am sure they are cooking a ton of carry out orders) but come on, the butts in the seats are the people that tip you waitstaff. 25 minutes to get my meal, not good. Not my favorite joint for Mexican food. It is fancy Taco Bell style food that does have a bit of flavor. It must be a Maryland thing because it tastes to fast food for me. To each his own. The chips used to be thinner and much better tasting, but the salsa is on point.

A laid back spot with really good food. I've tried several items on their menu and everything has been better than expected. Most recently I had the Eggplant and Portabello Reuben which was a first for me. I didn't know quite what to expect, but I wasn't disappointed. They also have plenty of TVs if you wanna catch a game. There is a separate section where live music is played on certain nights.

"I've worked a mile away for six years and this is the first time I've set foot in here. My coworkers and I had a meeting to attend and decided to stop here before going back to work. The place was pretty empty, and I think there was only one waitress working. Our server quickly brought us lunch menus. The items on the menu are extremely affordable lunch prices. I had three cheese enchiladas for $6.95. I ordered the cheaper version without the rice and beans. My coworkers all ordered different item. Two of them had chicken quesadillas and they were huge. Four sections, unlike some places that take a large tortilla and fold it in half. When the bill came I was charged incorrectly (I think the price for rice and beans). The server didn't know how to change it, but I planned to leave $10 for tax and tip (more than 20%), so that is what I did. The quesadilla two were charged $10 instead of $8, but that may have been because they had grilled instead of pulled chicken. I recommend this place for a cheap and tasty lunch. Just check your bill before you pay."
"For Charles County this is a 5/5 place. It's 4/5 in the DMV (DC/MD/VA area) However, the prices reflect that, IMO, so my liberal rating is a CC focused rating. Besides, it's a relatively newer establishment and that is also factored into my rating. The 2 of us ordered tacos and shared them, mixing them. The tacos were good and the Margaritas passable. The bartending skills need sharpening and if the margaritas are pre-mixed, they need a different/better pre-mix. There are outdoor tables but it was a tad to windy for us. It was plenty sunny on the patio and a couple that came in after us sat outdoors. Our waiter was pleasant and efficient. This is now our "go-to" Tex-Mex place since it's nearby. I hope they do well and continue to improve the alcohol drink offering. I love an excellent "Rita" cause it's something I don't like making at home."
"The shop at the end of this Plaza has sat vacant for ages, and I was glad to see something move into it. Stopping in, I was even more glad it was this place. There's no shortage of Peruvian chicken restaurants in the area. Heck, there's several within walking distance of this place. It's a tough niche to be in, and it's hard to set a restaurant apart. So, what sets this one apart? One word. Smoke. They're smoking the chicken, which adds tremendous flavour, and is incredibly good. I'm not sure if it's actually smoking, or just if they use a lot more during the grill, but it's delicious. The chicken just fell apart. The sides were awesome. If I had to stretch for some negatives:They could use a soda fountain. Only cans, and they're expensive ($2).... for someone who needs a coke to wash the food down, it isn't great. The sauces were great, and a little different. But. The sauce portions -- especially for a half chicken -- were a little light. But, the food was fantastic. And in can pop next door to Quench for a drink after."
"Passed by this place a million times not sure why I've never stopped by. Only quality Tex mex/ El Salvadorian food here. Seating is best for small- medium sized parties. You get the authentic feel of a Latin bar w/ reggaeton blasting and Coronas every where. My party ordered steak fajitas, combo of enchiladas, steak quesadilla and carne Asada. Everything was cooked very well and came out quickly. Some of the meats were under seasoned. We all loved our food. Definitely try the carne Asada and enchiladas. Highly recommend this place for dinner or lunch. I'll be back to try their drink specials"
"I enjoyed my lunch of tacos, chips, guacamole and queso and chips here. I like that it is customizable; you pick corn or flour tortilla, protein, and vegetables and sauce toppings. I got a fish taco with cilantro and cabbage, and a pork carnitas taco with cheese, pico and lettuce. The place is clean, bright and inviting, and the people working I'm at the counter are nice and helpful. I came in on taco Tuesday and got the buy one get one free taco deal, which was a plus. I'll be back again for more tacos soon"
"Was staying in Hilton and this place is a heaven , just next to the hotel :). Was a hot day and I dropped in for some quick food and beer . They had happy hours on some cold beers . Ordered a few and also had some chicken wings . Wings was so so good . They also gave some free chips/ salsa / guac . Really really good . Inside of the restaurant was big . Lots of TVs with sports for entertainment.. service was really quick and ever smiling faces of the waitress. Food taste was good . Nice and clean rest rooms . Loved it overall ."
"I have eaten here on numerous occasions, the folks here are friendly, always smiling! My food has always been hot fresh and super yummy! I love the pupusas, a great snack on the go!!!"
"Party of 3 tonight. Great service. Warm chips; fresh homemade guacamole. I had chicken tortilla soup which was delicious while my wife and friend enjoyed an oyster appetizer. I had a combo of taco, burrito and a chimichanga which was delicious . We enjoyed it all. Second visit and we will be back."
"Really really delicious Loved the burrito and churros Delivery was handed off great Excellent customer service Flavor , freshness, portion size"
"We ordered from this food truck tonight. The truck looked really nice and they had a variety of empanadas and other fried foods. The lady working the front was not friendly but still got the job done type of lady. We tried the original beef, Tex mex, and picadillo. Sadly the dough was kind of basic and not flaky. The fillings all kind of tasted the same. Overall the empanadas were ok."
"I am giving a 3 Star rating but there's a lot of context I need to add.So, I wanted to take a picture of the John Mercer Langston mural nearby so that's what brought me here. I used to work around this area and was familiar with this establishment in its last iteration as a breakfast, all day spot. Late last year, I think it was they rebranded in a McDowell's sort of way and honestly, I wish they would embrace that a little more. I ordered the same thing I would get at Roaming Rooster, the Honey Butter Chicken Sandwich except here, I asked that no mayo nor tomato be added. Here they come with it, a marked difference. Then I sat back, no, I stood back and observed the goings-on.First I questioned why they sell tacos. Not to anywhere there, just to myself. Why not a Big Mick[sic]? Coming 2 America is coming soon. Right after that a gentleman came in and ordered tacos and coffee. :-/Then I thought about how good the Ethiopian food could be here. I would be down to try it, way before I'd buy a taco here but then again I thought, why not go the Mélange route and have Ethiopian spiced chicken sandwiches. Yes I was doing a lot of thinking because I was waiting for a long time. I'd taken my John Mercer Langston picture and thought about menu changes I'd make if I were like Marcus Lemonis, investing nothing but sharing my i.p. for free like this review. The sandwich was actually, surprisingly good. A little on the oily side but much better than I thought and not at all shaped or packaged like Roaming Rooster, a different bird indeed. It's also filling so I would skip the fries because I'm sure they aren't as good as Wings across the street so get a taco if you wish."
"Cute little spot on Wolfe and eastern! I came here after a grumpy day at work and the lady who was working was so kind to me. I ordered a quesadilla and asked if I could have corn instead of a flour tortilla. She was very accommodating and offered me chips while I waited since it was carry out. Overall very very good. The chorizo was handmade and it wasn't too spicy or overbearing. The portion was also very big!!!"
"Went here today for happy hour with a group of coworkers, based on the recommendation of one the coworkers. It's a small space, but has a full bar and a pool table. The margaritas were very tasty, chips were good and the salsa was yummy. We also tried the ceviche which was also fresh and delicious. I'd definitely be back to try the rest of their food, as I was told it was great!"
