"When I arrived I was SUPER shocked because I thought this was a regular sit down restaurant. After walking inside you are greeted with several different options across a wide range of cultures. If you was feeling for sushi, pizza, burritos or even ramen they have that option. They even have a section where a "new restaurant" is available for a limited time. Unfortunately when I was there the pop up shop wasn't going to open until 2 days later so i definitely will be visiting again."

"View this review from the lens of someone who was annoyed for the first 20 minutes of this experience. We went NYE with a reservation. After walking in we were told to wait another 15 minutes (in a space that was crowded with limited seating). After being seated it was another 6 minutes before anyone came to take drink orders. I had imagined a scathing review.It all turned around when our server arrived. She was extremely helpful, efficient and friendly. Barrett's was not out to gouge and had a pretty extensive menu. I had the oyster imperial and my partner the crispy Brussels sprouts. Lots of crab and perfectly charred oysters. The sprouts were fantastic. I had the pork ribeye which was tender and had a great chimichuri sauce. The scallop risotto was outstanding. Dessert was equally wonderful - peach cobbler and strawberry shortcake (which was an ice cream cake).The food was outstanding. Service was great. The manager came around to make sure all was well. It is a great spot to dine and we will be back."

We just grabbed some cheeseburgers and fries and it was good! Nice juicy burger with gooey cheese! The service was great and everyone was super friendly and helpful! The drinks were delicious! I had a strawberry daiquiri and it was so refreshing. The outside bar is also dope and I love how it's for 21 and up only. The swimmable beaches are located a few minutes away (by car) which is fine but the parking here is pretty awful."

"This Jamaiican Food Place is open late nights in Washington, DC. They have a food truck as well. We came here at 12a-1a to order food for a family member. The parking is challenging as there is a club within 20 feet of the restaurant. Once we found street parking, we walked up to a line of about 15 people outside then about 15 more inside. This is a good sign; people willing to wait for authentic Jamaican Food. After standing in line for 20-25mins, we ordered with the 1 person taking orders. Then, we waited another 20mins for the food to be ready. There is no room inside the establishment to sit down while you wait for your food to be ready.We got back to our place and the family member started when they realize that it just wasn't as flavorful as the truck. The feedback is that the food truck food was well marinated well seasoned and cooked much better. Also, the full menu is not available mWe will stick to the food truck version of this place. It is nice that they have a stand up restaurant as well, but we prefer to have the good stuff for the prices we paid. TIP: The full menu is not available for late night dining, only about 4 select items."

The Quesabirria (Birria pizza) is why I started eating here and keep coming back. Those churros- how do they stay so hot and crispy- even with that caramel sauce dripping off of them!? My family fights over who gets the last one- every time. We tried the wings for the first time ... you do those right, too! I actually prefer yours over actual wing spots. My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary this past weekend and decided to do some restaurants hoping. El Bufalo was the first on our list. We opted to sit outside of the restaurant, on their makeshift patio. The inside was fairly crowded, plus it was a really nice day out. The seating is best, as the concrete the chairs and tables sat on was uneven, but that's was a very small inconvenience.We were greeted by a very friendly waitress as soon as we chose a seat. She was not only cordial, she was very knowledgeable, explaining menu items and making suggestions when solicited. We actually had two waitresses, but were equally as amazing. We ordered the Strawberry Margarita and Colada En Fuego cocktail to start, as well as the Queso Blanco Dip with the jerk beef. The drinks were excellent, nice and strong as they should be. The dip was very good and the chips with a sparkle of tajin were also delicious. For our main course, we ordered the 6 Taco Tasting Tour which was chef's choice. Our tour included the Nashville Hot, jerk Ground Beef, Grilled Fish, Carnitas, Marinated Skirt Steak and the Steak Rancheros tacos. While I enjoyed some tacos more than others, each of them were quite tasty. I really enjoyed my visit to El Bufalo! The ambience, the staff, the drinks, the food, everything was A1! I cannot wait to go back to try other menu items, much sooner rather than later!!"

"This is my favorite taco spot at the moment.Ambiance is a quality lunch spot. I imagine you'll only spend 25 minutes in here, out of efficiency. There is plenty of seating, and they generally come out with your food in 6-8 minutes.They have jarritos (soda) to drink, in addition to fresh agua Frescas that they make in house. I really like the Mango and Tamarind, with Hibiscus coming in the #3 spot. 10/10Their birria quesadilla tacos are crispy but tender, have form, and are flavorful. The consommé has a good consistency to it. 10/10The tacos are very fresh. Good meat to tortilla ratio. The onions & cilantro are bring it to another world. Green or mild sauce work with it. Their spicier one (green), is bearable. 10/10Their nacho fries with carne asada are a full meal- they could be your dinner and you'd still have leftovers. Great value, however, I wish the fries itself were a little more seasoned. Other than that, the balance of all the ingredients is A1- it doesn't have the problem that most of these dishes have, which is sogginess. 9/10"

"I was looking for a chill place to have dinner with my husband for his birthday and Wayward was beyond what we expected. We definitely came hungry and I was super excited that it wasn't too cold outside because their outside seating area is a must. We ended up sitting outside enjoying our food which consisted of brisket mac (to die for! an absolute must try!); wings with house wing sauce; fries; and the impossible burger. For drinks, we ordered from their Happy Hour menu - I got a glass of Pinot Grigio and a glass of Rose, while my husband ordered 2 rounds of the Sweet Heat mule (I tried it and it was ok ONLY because i'm not a fan of spicy stuff and this definitely has a kick to it, but other than that it was good). All in all - Food: brisket mac is an A++++++; wings were yummy, you could definitely tell they were smoked and grilled as the flavor was in each bite - I would like to try the old bay next time (yes, we will be back!); fries were bomb.com - they're shoestring, crispy, and delicious!; and my husband finished his impossible burger! Our server (as well as the other employees) were great! The attention the employees give to their customers is greatly appreciated. Oh, and their women's restroom was immaculate - thank you!!"

"Banditos, Banditos, BANDITOOOOS!!! I've visited Banditos twice in a fairly small window of time. My sister suggested it and I was down to try them out. I heard pretty good things about them. We arrived a bit after happy hour (sad face), but it didn't stop us from totally indulging! The restaurant was pretty chill. It was early evening on a weekday, so it wasn't very crowded. Or waitress was really nice. She gave us pointers on what was good & what to try. We stayed with the mango margaritas, which were good. Sweet and strong. But that spicy jalapeño margarita was THE BOMB!!! We actually tried that flavor twice! It was refreshing, with complementing flavors of lime and Tajin. That was one of the most delicious margaritas I've actually ever had. We had the chips and guacamole for apps. The chips are house made and so dang GOOD! Crunchy with underlying flavors of lime & lightly seasoned with Tajin. The guacamole was fresh, cool, and tasty. We tried different tacos to see which ones we liked. My favorites were: the blackened shrimp, the Rus & Gus (deep fried shrimp, cheese, pico, grilled onions and sauce), and the chorizo. I came back a week later for and early dinner and had a TIME! Everything was just as delicious as the first trip, from the spicy margarita to the chips and guac to the tacos! The chips were so fresh that the ones I took home were still delicious the next day! If I'm craving some tasty tacos and a spicy lil drinky-drink, I'll drive on over to Banditos!"

"I've had San Pablo a few times now and my issue is the lack of consistency with the quality of the food. The first time I had their food, I was wowed but recently I've just been underwhelmed. I've tried many things on their menu: Birrria (tacos, quesadilla, ramen), chicken, chorizo, and pork tacos, elote in a cup, and guacamole. When it's a good day, the birria consumme is amazing. Today, it was unfortunately bland and didn't do any favors for the tacos. On previous orders, the chicken in the chicken tacos tasted unseasoned, and the elote in a cup was too loose or soupy for my liking. It seems like the guacamole is the only consistently good item they have."

"My very first experience at Banditos Columbia was not so great. Started off with fully loaded nachos, which was not bad, also ordered beef empanadas which was empty inside, other than some cheese and countable pieces of ground beef, the inside of the empanadas was basically empty. Service: horrible. There were about 4 tables at the time when we were seated. Our waiter was a tall young male. He walked past us couple of times before came over to acknowledge us. When he was taking our orders, he was only looking at my husband, like I was invisible. After he took my husband's order, he walked right off, before I was even able to order anything. Ugh.... We had to wait till he came back around after 5-10 min to place my order. With service like this, there's no way I will stay nor to order anything else. Atmosphere of the restaurant of quiet during our visit, they were not busy at all, with several servers just hanging around the bar. Don't think I will return to this location, my time is too valuable to gamble for another horrible service experience with mediocre food. Do not recommend."

"Ordered delivery from here twice while in Annapolis on business. I can say with all confidence they have some of the top 5 best taqueria style tacos i've had outside of California. I can't speak to their flour tortilla options (not really fussed with that tex mex style) but their corn tortilla tacos are really really satisfying. Both times they were generous with the filling, generous with the salsas and even added legit cebollitas as a garnish. Carnitas spot on, nice combo of meat and fat, barbacoa is tender and the pastor well seasoned. Given they are a combo shop i even ordered some chicken strips with buffalo sauce and a salad. Though these two things are pretty straightforward pizza place eats they were solid in portion and flavour. I work on the road for weeks at a time and have all kinds of experiences with Grubhub, Ubereats etc. This is on the upper end of the curve. Will try the pizzas next. Might not be the best pizza in town but given so many good options on one menu i'm happy to mix and match without been worried the whole meal could be a let down. Pleasantly surprised."

Our Server Agustina greeted us and took our drink orders. We got our drinks, but there was a long while before our Server came back to the table to take our food orders, my Husband went up to the Bar and asked the Bartender if he knew if our Server was coming back, we saw her at the end of the Bar on her cellphone. She finally came over and we ordered our Starters along with our Entrees. We ordered several things and a variety of Tacos. Everything was delicious, except for the Mexican Rice, it was unseasoned. I really loved the Salsa and Chips it was so tasty. I'll give them another try at another location, hopefully the Server is more attentive."

Besides, it's a relatively newer establishment and that is also factored into my rating.The 2 of us ordered tacos and shared them, mixing them. The tacos were good and the Margaritas passable. The bartending skills need sharpening and if the margaritas are pre-mixed, they need a different/better pre-mix. There are outdoor tables but it was a tad to windy for us. It was plenty sunny on the patio and a couple that came in after us sat outdoors. Our waiter was pleasant and efficient.This is now our "go-to" Tex-Mex place since it's nearby. I hope they do well and continue to improve the alcohol drink offering. I love an excellent "Rita" cause it's something I don't like making at home."

They had a great kids menu which included my 2 daughters favorites (bean and cheese burritos and taquitos). This was my first time here and my friends highly recommended the Birria Tacos. I am so happy I listened to them because it was sooooo gooood! It was the first time I had this type of taco. I had a Cadillac Margarita which was good and so big I almost did not finish...but I was up for the challenge. The wait staff were great and our food and drinks came out quickly. He loved his spicy margarita and that the bartender used fresh jalapeños. The chips dip plate was a huge portion! We focused on the happy hour tacos menu and ordered 5 to share. Our favorites were (in order) Al pastor, carnitas, nashville hot, pollo asado, chicken Tinga. The only reason my review dropped a star was that their margaritas still seemed inconsistent because my first was very good and strong but my 2nd had too much sour mix and was so sweet. Can't wait to be back again though!"

"Jerk at Nite was a lovely experience in the city.To set the scene, it's on a corner unit on the H street block, and there's a to-go station that is outdoors.Parking was decent, I parked in the neighborhood and my friend found parking across the street.There is not really a fleshed out waiting area, so considering the busy nature of the restaurant, you're going to be a bit awkward, either waiting in your car, waiting in the cold, or standing up in the limited space in the restaurant.Our server was quick to share her perspectives on the dishes we inquired about, and showed pride in how jerk at nite differentiated themselves from other food spots.Now, to the meat and potatoes (pun intended)Me and a friend both got the tropical punch, along with a water. The tropical punch had a layered taste to it- you could definitely taste the passion fruit, mango and more. For both my friend and I, we agreed it was a little watery. It felt like either the result of a syrup based drink, or, a jungle juice type drink where there's ice in the jug, and it melts over time. I didn't think it was too big of a deal, as the degree of watery-ness didn't ruin it. 5/10The Mac & Cheese is an extremely affordable appetizer for the size of dish that you receive. There were 5 people in our party, and we were easily able to split two dishes of the Mac & cheese at $13 a piece. It was extremely seasoned (in a good way), and it didn't have a nasty consistency about it, which is my complaint with a lot of Mac & cheese's. 10/10.The jerk chicken pasta was seasoned TO THE GODS. The sauce was prevalent, but not overwhelming, and the cheese was a nice touch. There even was a kick of spice to each bite. 8/10.I didn't order the tacos, however, the tortilla has a nice char on it, which I appreciate. It didn't fall apart with each bite, and there were enough ingredients within each taco that you're getting a combination of flavors with each bite.Be careful- there was a 18% gratuity included automatically on our check, and our server didn't go out of her way to point it out. One of our friends ended up paying $10 extra, on top of the service charge. That and the tropical punch was the only reason I give Jerk at Nite on H street: 4/5 Stars."

They also had a happy hour taco menu, but only included a few from the menu.I love a spicy margarita and they do make a good one here. Plenty spicy. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. You place your order at the counter and they will bring the food to the table. They serve tacos and a dozen or so of specialty items. I wanted something different so I got the Birria Ramen. So what is it? It is Birria alongside delicious Ramen Noodles inside the rich consome broth! Topped with fresh onion, cilantro, and radishes. What a combination. Delicious. Big portion. I definitely could not finish. Plenty of birria!Looking forward to returning to try other items."

"Let me tell y'all about my favorite lunch spot. I work around the corner, and everyone gets tired of the mundane fast food. Think fresher, more flavorful Chipotle and for about the same price. I normally get the chicken bowl and prefer it to the shrimp bowl I had today (only because you get 5 shrimp, and I'm greedy). The service is so nice. They are polite and will let you sample things if it's your first time. I always get the bowl but I've heard great things about the half chicken, carne asada, and yucca. My bowl always has the rice, black beans, pico, mozz, and green spicy sauce. The green beans are a must! So good. Honestly best green beans I've ever had. If you're in Greenbelt, you have to try it."

No flavor otherwise. Everything was barely warm. Guac was tasteless. Waste of good money. A freaking 20oz bottle of Mountain Dew was $3.49. Highway robbery. Taco Bell would have tasted better."
