"I've been eyeing this place ever since I read about it being one of the best steakhouses on east coast on reddit. Seeing as how I lived just over an hour away I was happy to test out the hypothesis, and it didnt disappoint. I made reservations and found street parking. I was a smidge late, but fortunately they didnt give my table away. Once seated, I noticed the decor and ambiance was a bit aged, though still nice. I ordered an old fashion while my friend had red wine. We both ordered new york strip steaks and had salads to start. I went with a house while my friend had a greek salad, and tbh I wish I ordered the greek salad. the salad comes with potatoes under the lettuce and is topped with a bright tasting greek dressing consisting of lemon, garlic, and herbs. Coupled with the feta it reminded of my growing up in NYC and stopping in all of the rich tasting greek diners on the island. This stole the night for me, I'd go back just for this greek salad. The steakhouse's menu describes the restaurant as being the first to offer prime steaks. Upon further research I found that prime steak is the highest grade a meat could obtain. The meat tends to be juicer, packed with flavor and great has marbling. Lastly, the meat is cooked in a broiler at 1800 degrees. What surprised me the most was how well the steak was cooked, I ordered mine to be medium rare and typically in a restaurant medium rare means the middle of the steak is medium rare and the outside is more medium. However here the outside was medium rare and the center, inside of the steak was more on the rare side. What was disappointing was that the restaurant only tops their steaks with butter. Maybe I've grown accustomed to salt and pepper and while the steak was good, it felt like it was missing something. We also ordered a baked potato and mushrooms. The baked potato can be topped with butter, sour cream but not chives which is unfortunate but I managed. Both portions were enough to satisfy us both. The service was great, there are no complaints there. The waitress offered their opinion when asked, and guided us to the house favorites. She was quick to refill the water, and was prompt in returning often."

"We were wandering around Lunch time, and after passing Madrones 20 times, we thought, why not let's stop in?The appetizer we got (the steak appetizer) was amazing. The two sauces were perfectly paired.The food was prepared nicely, and we could relax and enjoy the meal. It was a great place to stop and enjoy lunch. The only knocks I would have on the place are it is a bit loud (when it's a meal rush and there are many people at the bar) and parking is difficult.They are in a corner spot of a strip mall that is heavily trafficked, and finding a spot is hard."

I would describe the vibe as elevated casual.It's a pretty small place and a little cramped, but the decor is cute and cozy. Our server was nice enough, although he could have been a little more attentive. I ordered the seasonal pumpkin spiced martini which was absolutely delicious. My second drink was my favorite though. It was called heaven and hell - the menu description is "Rum Haven Coconut Rum / Pineapple Juice / Lime Juice / Habanero Simple / Jalapeno Garnish." It was the best drink I've had in a really long time. It had the perfect balance of sweetness and spiciness. I would highly recommended it. A woman, I'm assuming the manager, came over and asked if my gf and I needed anything and that's when I ordered the heaven and hell drink. The woman was nice enough to give that round to us for free! I wasn't expecting that at all. For dinner I got the meatloaf and my gf got the Kona kabobs. The meatloaf was absolutely the best meatloaf I've ever had. It was grilled so you got that charred flavor, but it wasn't too dry and the seasoning was on point. The mashed potatoes were delicious too, as was the gravy. I tried my gf's Kona kabobs and they were very well seasoned and tender. Overall it was an amazing meal and we had a good time. I'd definitely give them another try."

"This weekend, I wanted to go somewhere that offered a variety of things so I decided to come to By the Docks. I've been here a bunch of times and I've even taken my family for celebrations and brunch. I will say say that I like the new upgrades to the decor. This was my first time being in the bar area and the booth we had was cozy. Overall my experience was decent but I had a few gripes. 1. The salad used to come with the meal but a side salad was $6 and it came in a weird bowl. It took everything in me not to knock it over. 2. My server. He was much more attentive to a table that came in after us. He checked on them often but we basically only saw him when he took our order and gave us the check. We spent more time with the food runners. He also forgot one of my items that I ordered. I'm not sure if I was charged for it because I just paid the check and left. Now to the good part....I ordered way too many items to list each one but the food was great. I don't like that they have sides set for each entrée but they will allow you to substitute which is a plus. I will return but hopefully I'll have a different server next time."

"The Wife, our 2yr old & I visited George Martin's Grillfire bc we were staying in the hotel attached to the restaurant - The Arundel Preserve. Our waitress Mya was really nice, and when we asked her suggestions she gave us two: the Steak strips appetizer & my entree, and they both were a hit. Mya can be trusted. 10/10. There was literally no wait time & was seated really quickly even though the restaurant felt pretty busy & our food came out really fast.. 10/10. On to our meals...Our appetizer was the Steak Strips & man were they tender & flavorful. 9/10. My son got the Kids Mac & Cheese but the Wife & I had some too. 6/10. It wasn't bad by any stretch but it was a different variation of Mac & Cheese than what I am used to, but that's ok. It was still good. For Entrees the Wife got the days special, Australian Lamb chops w/ mash potatoes & broccoli & rated it a 10/10. I got the Braised BBQ Short rib w/ crispy onion straws on a bed of mash potatoes & man were those ribs tender & delicious. 10/10 For dessert, I got the Crème Brûlée & the Wife & kiddo split a dairy free, gluten free brownie that tasted like the regular version. 10/10. In closing, we had a really good time & the Mrs. Keeps raving about wanting to return."

The bartender said the wings were grilled and then fried so I was expecting them to be crispy but they definitely were not. So yea, not much more to say. Check it out if you're interested."

They also have a few selections of Malbec.They serve a complimentary chimichurri with a side of bread - delicious!And for the main we shared the parilla for two. The octopus was tender with a light char and the marinara sauce was a perfect compliment.And finally we also split a single crab cake. Honestly, one of the best I've had. The crab was sweet and buttery. And it was all held together by hopes and dreams, because there was basically no filler at all!We all had the Dry Aged bone in ribeye, ordered rare, and a baked potato. The meat was perfectly cooked. Had just the right kind of "gameyness" for dry aged beef. And was tender and absolutely delicious. Honestly the texture was closer to that of a Filet. Even the potato was delicious.Our server, BrittanyH deserves a special shout out too. She was attentive, not pushy at all. There was no feeling of being rushed out. In fact, we were there during the running of the Preakness, we were just about finished with our meal and got up to watch the race. She put a note on our table stating "Do not bus" I feel it's important to note this only because it's the level of service you simply don't see often anymore. She didn't need to do that, we didn't ask, our plates looked finished. But she did it in case we wanted another bite. It's the kind of thoughtfulness that seems so rare anywhere today, let alone in a restaurant.Overall, this was an amazing experience. I would highly recommend anyone that thinks they may want to try to go. And we will absolutely be back soon."

They sing the birthday song with drums and all! Fresh sides at the salad bar. Cheese bread is always fresh and don't forget to get bottomless limeades! Rodizio's will spike it for you and or add flavors such as strawberry, mango, etc. If you've never been to Rodizio's, note, it is not in the mall. It is located outside of the mall on the movie theater side (the gps is deceiving). Reservations are not required, however feel free to make some if you have a good size party and if it's a special occasion."

We wanted to make sure the meal would be great bc it was also our dad's 81st birthday and we didn't want another disappointment for him since the O's lost to the Angels. My sister is a semi-regular here and said it would be a good choice so we decided to give it a go.The meal started w warm slightly sweet yeast rolls and butter which were tasty and took the edge off. We all chose the side All American salad as our premium side with our entrees. I chose the basil vinaigrette dressing and loved it. Others enjoyed their blue cheese and ranch selections.For entrees, I got the 6 oz filet w a baked potato. This was a great choice and I even had leftovers. Our dad got the 7 oz sirloin and he was very happy with his selection. My brother got the chicken marsala over wild rice w steamed broccoli, delicious. And my sister got the pork chops in marsala sauce w mashed potatoes which was equally delicious. We were all stuffed so no dessert (even for the birthday boy), and we all agreed that we would definitely be back soon bc this meal was so good. Side note, we got all of this food for around $95 pre-tip so it was also a good value (esp after spending over $63 at Camden Yard for four hot dogs, three bottles of water and one fountain soda). You pick the meat you want. There are also other items on the menu to choose from. For an appetizer we had the chicken livers, fried oysters & soft shell crabs. The chicken livers ware not what I expected. They were broiled(maybe) in a sauce with chopped peppers & onions. I wouldn't order it again. The soft shelled crab was legs only no body. Also not what I expected. My brother said it was good but it was only 4 small claw legs. We also had the oysters. They were good & tender. There were 6 in a serving. They have a bar for drinks and a sushi bar. This is our second time here. Get an alcoholic drink if you visit the drinks are good."

The Mister and kiddo had hibachi. Very generous portion, even for the kids size. Plenty to take home. The sushi had nice presentation, but taste didn't follow up with it. I had better and fresher. "My husband and I decided to give this restaurant a try for seventh year wedding anniversary. We have been to Firebirds restaurant before currently different state. As soon as we walked in, we are graded by three staff, who were very welcoming, and offered us a seat at the bar or patio while we wait for our table. Less than two minutes we were sitting at our table. if you like appetizers, we absolutely loved the eggrolls and deviled eggs! Main meals - ordered a Colorado salad and salmon spinach salad, but we changed out the salmon for steak instead. The drink pineapple vodka martini is now one of our favorites! Hats off to our waitress she was the best. Her name was MIA - so helpful, made great food and drink recommendations, pass by our table often to check in on us.
