"Had a 12 AM craving for guacamole, chips, and salsa. Ordered through uber eats since they are open late night. Guacamole dip was FRESH, packaged AND seasoned well. Nice balance of lime, cilantro, a bit of saltiness, and perfectly ripe avocado. Definitely would order again. Perfect amount for one person. I also got the pico de gallo. Fresh, bright, and citrusy. My only gripe is the price for what you get. The pico de gallo comes in a sauce cup / container. Maybe twice the size of the plastic cups used for ketchup at burger and fries places. So I can skip that next time. Will check out the rest of their menu."
"For what it's worth (a bar, duh!) Acme Bar & Grill has solid bar food with a very laid back vibe. My friends and I went about fifteen minutes and couldn't decide what to order (so we ordered a ton, see photos). What were the showstoppers: wings, shrimp, pizza, quesadillas and crab balls. The wings are super crispy (fried hard) and flavorful, the pizza is simple but satisfying, and the quesadillas are cheesy and filling. Perfect for a casual late night bar meal, especially if you're craving wings!I'd return again especially for the wings!"

"Very impressed with the rebranding is this bar. I went for brunch - great price for what you got. Best potatoes I've ever had! They also had amazing Booze specials. The coffee was so so, but hey, they are a bar, I should of ordered a Bloody Mary."
"What a hidden gem! Don't let the surrounding area deceive you! The Buffalo chicken sandwich was so good. I took my first bite and couldn't believe my taste buds. You have to give this place a try. The staff is also an amazing bunch!"
"Staff was super friendly, greeted us and seated us as soon as we walked in. Overall service was really good, the waiter answered all of our questions. The tables are distanced and have the QR scanner codes on them for the menu. They offer outside seating. The food was good, it is American bar food; burgers, wings, fries, etc... they give you a lot for the price. This would be a good place to come watch a sports game, they have tons of TVs around the bar. They also offer lots of drinking options and have games."
"Great bar! The bartender, Vaughn, is absolutely amazing!!! Great personality. The service is amazing, the alcohol keeps on flowing."
"Visited on a Sunday night and it was pretty lively. We sat outside in their outdoor area, which was much quieter apart from the busy roads and the crowded parking. The service was a bit slow, and our appetizer came out with our main dish. The rock fish bites were more like fillets, not bite size but still very tasty. I'd get it again! The crab cake was good quality too. It was served on toasted sandwich bread with a side of chips. Next time I'd replace the side with fries, but love this spot for the convenience of location and seafood so far was good. I'd come back to try it out again."
"Ahhh yes! They had live music and that makes it my favorite place to drink in Annapolis! Very chill vibes. Water coolers around (so smart). Back patio. Lots of space. LIVE MUSIC UP FRONT! Excellent."
"Ate several times on our trip to Maryland. Great service and delicious food.We had a blast each visit. Strong drinks"
"Stopped in on this rainy Friday, great music, great speciality drinks, food options; amazing, mixed crowd - all levels so don't come with bias - Come to have a good time - great for groups, birthday parties, meetings or solo ---Bartenders mix well and are attentive.I'm a former club head so 5 stars from me is pretty hottttt - if you're not interested in being here when there's a crowd come early - cover charge at the door - cards accepted for all payments."
"This is my favorite local restaurant and bar. The food is amazing! The crab cakes are easily the best in Baltimore but are really underrated in this tucked away restaurant. Fun atmosphere. Raven's pride bar."
"Very friendly staff, nice environment, but clearly understaffed. Had planned to come in for 2-3 beers and some bar food. 40 minutes in, 1 beer and they never even took my food order. Restaurant was 1/3 full on a Saturday night, three spots at the center of the bar where a half drank bottle of beer and napkins wadded up. Looks like whoever was there had left, but unsure. I did hear a group of other patrons in their ugly holiday sweaters asking how long it would take to get their drink orders filled, which is when I decided to cut bait. This was not the staff's fault. Clearly management has radically understaffed the restaurant... Canton Crossing could really benefit from some nightlife options, and Green Turtle could easily fit the bill... but there is a long ways to go before they get there."

The Birria tacos are incredible. Unlike many taco shops, this place offers 3 full size tacos per order which is quite filling. I would have given El Tapatio 5 stars, however, the consommé to dip the taco isn't consistent. Pro tip: use an air fryer to reheat your tacos. Not a Michelin rated restaurant and that's ok. Sometimes the best eateries lie outside of fine dinning.

I visited Acme for a friend's birthday. We did a little bar hopping and started off here. For starters, this place is loud on the weekend so if that's your thing, you're in for a good time. I ended up getting the cheesesteak egg rolls which were just okay. I would've liked a little more cheese in them and a different dipping sauce besides marinara. The service was attentive despite how busy it was. After my friend and I finished our appetizers and drinks, we left to meet up with friends at another spot. Overall, I just had an okay experience at Acme. I wouldn't be in a rush to return.

(4.5) - I gave it a five because we haven't had a bad experience, it's not a knock your socks off kinda place, but that's not a bad thing. Good place for bar food. If you are a chicken tender fanatic like myself, this is a good place to go. The drinks are good, the pub food is good, it's a solid neighborhood bar.

Definitely located in a rougher looking part of Baltimore, this restaurant is definitely one that I would classify as one only the locals know about. Off the beaten path, neighborhood looks a little rough and just behind this place is an industrial complex. But then you walk inside and are instantly relieved. Friendly faces, verbal greetings and quick service, even with a large party. The restaurant isn't huge but not tiny either. And there is a side room where you can host a private event. The private area also has a pool table so it can be a good spot for an end-of-week get-together.The menu is a good size and in the several times I've been here, I've liked everything I tried. The cooks at this place can whip up a lunch with the best of 'em. I don't think you can go wrong here. Soups, sandwiches, burgers...all legit and a good size with enough meat to keep you happy.I highly, highly recommend this place. You'll definitely feel like you discovered a secret no one else knows about. But don't worry, you don't have to keep this place to yourself!

On Sunday 6/1/20 while at Latrobe Park (directly across the street) we stumbled across this neighborhood gem. Clearly, all the locals knew about this spot because this was one of those everybody knows your name type places. I'm not from LP and was just looking for a place that my son and I could grab lunch for a picnic in the park. Since this was during the pandemic and restaurants/bars weren't yet opened City Limits was serving takeout food and beverages from their open air bar windows. I ordered the shrimp tacos with the crunchy shell (per the recommendation of the manager) and my son ordered chicken and waffles. I would like to say this place was VERY accommodating to my 7 y/o. As they only offer chicken and waffles as a menu special sometimes and they day we went chicken and waffles was not on the menu but they made it for him anyway. This means a lot to parents, way to go City Limits-you have my vote! His waffles were the big crunchy on the outside, warm and pillowy soft on the inside type of waffle. The waffles had a sweet crust on them as well, so if you're not a big syrup fan no worries this crust has you covered. I didn't try the chicken tenders but my son said they were really good. The tacos were great. The shrimp were perfectly seasoned and cooked. The taco shells were fresh and they drop them to order, according to the manager. The tacos were paired with a side of seasoned rice and beans. Later a friend joined us and ordered the shrimp quesadillas which were even better than the tacos. We also ordered an OJ, Mimosas and Peach Sangria. The alcoholic drinks were $20 each and enough for at least 4 people to drink off of. They also tasted amazing. Well worth the money. We will be back for sure!

This is my favorite local hangout! They have a pool table and TouchTunes!!! Ownership is great and it's open on Monday, unlike several bars in the area.

Was a great bar to watch NFL Sunday. Many screens and many games. Fish sandwich and wings were very tasty. Staff were friendly and efficient.

"So the outside of this place looks shady and then you walk into a very clean, organized sports bar run by a British ex-pat.The wings were never frozen and fried fresh with some great sauces.I was pleasantly surprised to find this place. It was so good I went back the next day."
"Other than the Maryland crab soup which was so comforting and hits all the spots, everything else I tried were really just meh. Service was decent, our server was friendly. Cool decor and noise level was not too bad. Good dividers between bar and booth sections.Maryland crab soup: all the hearty veggies with decent amount of crab meat. Seasoning of the broth was on point. I'm not an expert on Maryland crab soup but damn I really enjoyed it.Cream of crab: starchy, could still taste the little chunks of starch in there. Not flavorful... only saltinessFried fish: I think it was beer battered, kind of like what you get everywhere else. Nothing stands out.Stuffed Prawns: this is that stuff I could make at home. It was pretty pathetic by the looks of it. Green beans were bland, and rice was undercooked.I'll try to be back for the Maryland crab soup."
"It's about time a barcade has come to Federal Hill. The entire decor of the place really brought back '90s video game vibes. They have graffiti'd wall paintings from Super Mario to The Simpsons. The entire place really created a nostalgic atmosphere. Although the beer prices, in my opinion, are a bit on the higher end ($7 can beer and $6 draft beer), they also serve $7 slushies, $5 Jell-O shots, $11 crushes, specialty cocktails ranging from $11-$13, and both bottles and glass of wine. The bar itself has three floors. The first two floors have a bar and arcade games. The second floor also has two pinball machines, an NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) , and foosball. The third floor is a speakeasy with a lounge area. Unfortunately, the speakeasy wasn't open on Sunday. The downside was that a few of the arcade games were faulty. For instance, the Ninja Turtle game is a 4-player game, but you can only one person can play and that too, as Donatello. I lost some quarters trying to play 2 player that game. There was also a Time Crisis shooting game that was unfortunately also only one player because the other gun didn't work. Overall, it's really nice to see a barcade show up in Federal Hill. On Mondays they are closed, but otherwise they stay open til 2 AM. They have coin machines to give out quarters as well. It's a great place to hangout with friends or to go out on a date night. The bartenders are very nice and the overall, ambience was very '90s retro."
"Today was my first time visiting this establishment with a group of my friends. The waitress did an amazing job handling our table of about 15 people. The drinks were fantastic, especially the Strawberry Margarita, which is the best drink I've had in Maryland so far! Although the food service took a while, it was expected. My 6oz steak seemed smaller than expected, but it was still delicious, as were the fries and the outstanding mushrooms. The restaurant also offered karaoke, though I didn't participate (haven't sung in public since 5th grade chorus). I would definitely recommend coming here!"
"Absolute best African Restaurant in the DMV!I've ordered everything on the menu (Thanks to the lockdown ), and I can testify they're all legit tasty! The Peppersoup is Spicy and Flavorful, loved the rice stew (Ayamase), and the Meatpie tastes so Authentic!I recommend this restaurant to anyone skeptical of African restaurants (I was ), and I guarantee you'll love their food. The owners are also very professional and courteous to customers.Highly Recommended !!!"
"fter hanging out in North Beach we came down to Chesapeake Beach to try out 1936. The outside patio was full, but we were able to get a table at the window facing the boats and water. We were quickly seated and brought waters and given time to pick out drinks and food. We got the crab dip, oysters, chicken and crab cake combo, and the fried shrimp. The oysters were very fresh and the appetizers and food came out piping hot and very well prepared. The crab cake barely had any filler, the shrimp were huge and had great seasoning on it, and the fried chicken was super crispy. The service was amazing and our server was very helpful when we asked on what some favorites were. We will definitely be back and highly recommend checking 1936 out."
"We wanted burgers, so this looked like a great place! The burgers were picture perfect, but did not taste outstanding. They kind of lacked spices and flair in taste. The service was great- attentive and pretty quick for a Sunday afternoon/ evening. The atmosphere is relaxed and feels like a sports bar with booths and high top tables with TVs all over. I also had the shrimp poboy. It was good; the shrimp were perfectly fried and the sauce was yummy. The bun was huge so it was difficult to eat it as a sandwich, but it was still delicious. I changed my fries to Cole slaw and it was good, but a dry version of Cole Slaw. Overall the meal was great looked, tasted good and we were treated well."
"Thank you Matt, I feel like my review should be amended. I visited today and the ribs were fabulous. After the situation regarding their cooking methods was explained I fully understand now what went wrong in my past reviews. The ribs were exactly what I was hoping for. Thank you to the team, the ribs were tender, delicious and full of meat! Well worth another visit!"
"Okay, I've awakened from my food coma and I'm ready to tell my story. On a hot almost summer day in Baltimore, I decided to venture to Mr. Bill's for what was described as the best crabs in town...well, it came highly recommendation and they did NOT lie! First, this place can get busy so it's recommended to get there early or make reservations. Next, the staff was very cool to chat with and our bartender knew how to make a good Paloma! I love that this place feels like it belongs in Jersey Shore or near to a beach because it gives such a cool and beach like ambiance. I enjoyed looking at the setup, the bathroom with the sliding doors, and everything that mimics the inside of an authentic beach side restaurant. The food...for starters we had the honey old bay wings and listen to what I say...THESE were fried perfectly and the sauce was DIVINE! If they bottled it, I'd buy it because the wings were everything. Crabs and corn: the corn was the sweetest I've had and it was perfectly roasted. It added a good break between enjoying the crabs and that brings me to the CRABS! If anyone can point me in the direction of their seasoning aisle, I'd run to it. The crab was covered in seasoning and touched by the food gods. Some of course, we meaty while others were not but the majority were filled with succulent meat. Whew! I'm having a nostalgic moment. Would I return? YES! Immediately! Price: one dozen for $90 (special) medium male crabs wings: under $16 (can't recall) BTI Paloma: $12 Kid friendly: there is an extensive menu and if the rest of the food were as good as the wings, I'd trust it for the little ones. Good for groups: eh, if you arrive early and made prior reservationsDrinks: I had a sip of the lemon drop and it wasn't good BUT the Paloma was amazing! Cash or card? Cards accepted not sure on cash Service: Good service but a little slow Overall, I rate this place an excellent option for good food, live games (TVs available) a full bar, clean restrooms, and DELICIOUS food!"
"Met a friend for lunch here, my first time here. This is a pretty big place and there is also an outdoor patio area but we dined indoors. The menu has something for everyone. I chose the chicken quesadilla (my go-to at a new spot). It was great, I actually couldn't finish it all, it was such a large serving. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. The restrooms were clean.I would come back here for lunch again. Seemed like the bar area was filled with regulars (at 2 PM in the afternoon on a Tuesday) so I don't think the vibe later in the evening would be my thing."
"The server was great and very knowledgeable about the food but the service was slow. I think it gets backed up in the kitchen because you can watch the cooks moving slowly in the kitchen while the servers busily move about tending to customers or wait patiently for food to come up for delivery from the kitchen. See the picture below. The prices are decent and the food was excellent and full of flavor but it was just slow. I recommend the Tex Mex chicken nachos and teriyaki steak. I loved that they have Guinness on draft too. The only thing that marked them down was the bar had some rowdy guests, and while the manager quickly addressed it, that did not happen until a few people mentioned it. The behavior at the bar should have never become an issue for patrons because management, or the bar tender, should have stepped in before guests called attention to it."
"Had the stewed goat and jollof rice! Simply delicious. I'm just getting into the West African food scene but my boo is Naija and he approved!"
"After taking in one of the museums in the area, we decided to walk to the Wharf to eat. We decided to give this place a try and it did not disappoint! You get plenty of food and it tastes good. A definite must try and don't forget to get the cornbread! The only con is that they are short on staff so you have to be patient with the service.Overall, we'll be back!"
"Good fun, good food, good people! Come Friday night karaoke is a blast, so come hang!"
"My children and me have always liked this franchise. Since 5 months ago HomeSlyce has come to Towson. The people inside are super nice. There isn't much with ambiance with this small location. They do have tables inside and that's how we chose to eat our pizza. The pizza never disappoints and this Towson location delivered. HomeSlyce is one of the best pizzas in the area. Don't sleep on this location for your pizza cravings. It's a must try if you've never been to a HomeSlyce location. We will definitely be ordering pizza here again when I'm in the area. Till next time....."
"Crabs were full and tasty! Cream of crab soups was delicious just needed to be hotter"
"This is an old fashioned hometown dive bar. We stayed at a local Airbnb and stopped in here one night for a few drinks and had an absolute blast. Friendly staff and friendly locals. Pool tables, bar pie, talks about strip clubs. The owner/bar tender is an absolute peach. Dont hesitate to stop in here."
"Finally got my hands on some iBar wings. Every time I come in here, almost every seat is taken. On this particular day, my personal delivery driver (aka my boyfriend) was craving wings and brought some back for me. I got the buffalo wings "chef's style". Unfortunately, they were out of chef's style wings so regular buffalo wings were all they had. The wings were generously slathered in buffalo sauce and came with ranch dressing and a few pieces of celery. They were super yummy and picked clean from the bone in seconds. The buffalo were the perfect amount of spicy for me but my boyfriend got the "hot" wings and was sniffling from the heat.I'd be interested in coming back and trying more of their famous wing varieties and I've definitely gotta taste that chef's style someday."
"I really enjoyed the seafood at this restaurant. The crab cake was excellent and the steamed crab was good. The steamed crabs were a little pricey, but worth having a Maryland steamed crab experience. The only thing that could improve at this restaurant is the service was a little slow. I had to wait to get my drink refilled and had to take my check to the bar to pay, since my server was slow coming to my table. This restaurant definitely serves an amazing crab cake."
"I've been wanting to stop by for a while and I'm glad I did! We came on a weekend night and it was a little busy. Street parking was a bit hard to find, but we were able to find some behind the restaurant.I got the ciabatta steak and it was amazing-- the ciabatta was so soft and the steak bits were super juicy and cooked perfectly. The old bay fries were also so crispy and amazing! My friend got The Chesapeake burger and loved it! She said it was one of her favorite burgers in Baltimore. Great beer selection too.Atmosphere was lively. Would definitely come again and would recommend!"
"mind boggling this spot has such bad reviews. I can only speak for the nightlife (Hooka, drinks, small bites) and loved it! Was a champion regular briefly last year and always had a great time- 5 starts because they are well above the par for DMV Hooka joint. Hooka was always smooth and the flavor I ordered was the flavor I got. Drinks were strong and affordable. Space is single floor but spacious with tv screens all around. I only went during the weekday and the DJ always played Ethiopian and Hip-hop. Good mix of vibes and quality.Parking is free! both street and adjacent lot."
"Excellent food here. Quick and good sized portions. Have had the jerk chicken often and it's always great."
"First time ever eating here in the years of visiting Pasadena/Glen Burnie.I didn't believe a crab cake (10oz ) that big could be found in Maryland. The crab was sooooooooo goood I actualy cried and thank Jesus.I could talk all day/night about how good it is here...BOTTOM LINE THIS IS THE PLACE TO EAT"
