"Found out about Granny's through a video that Slice & Rice filmed, reviewing multiple items on the menu. And then drove down from Philly because my husband was convinced! The power of influencers :) A big FYI: NO DINE-IN! They don't have a timeline on when the dining area will reopen either. I asked, as of March 2024. Wings: Ordered the peach bourbon wingettes and lemon pepper wingettes. The sauce on the peach bourbon wingettes is very good! Worth a try! The wings are larger than what you'd get at Buffalo Wild Wings or a restaurant like that. The one thing about no dine-in for these wings is that they aren't 100% crispy by the time you eat them, sadly. They were still fairly crispy after a 30 minute car ride though! Sides: ordered collard greens and creamy grits. You gotta eat the grits fairly quickly or they'll get a weird texture. I thought they were fine without adding any butter but accordingly to my husband, my taste buds are bland. Farm raised catfish: if you minus the two sides' costs that are included in the total price, the price is comparable. It was well fried and fairly sized for what it was worth. Bigger than what you'd get at a Cracker Barrel! Customer service: great! Very friendly! I appreciated how they put foil down in the plastic take-out containers."

"Enjoyed another great meal at Charleston The turbot and tenderloin were great. The oysters were surprisingly really good- had a very light fry. I wasn't a super big fan of the risotto but I don't usually like risotto- it was more runny and had more liquid than other risottos than I've had. Husband and I wanted to try the white truffle since it was in season but we were both a bit underwhelmed."

"Located in the historic Lexington market, Connie's did not disappoint and I ate every bite of my meal. They do offer limited bar seating. The customer service was great and the cashier shared his favorite items as it was my first time. I ordered the chicken tenders (2) and red velvet waffle. It took about 10 minutes and it was worth the wait. The chicken is the star and was seasoned to perfection. The waffle had a classic but not overly sweet red velvet taste. It was nice and fluffy. I will be back."

"After a quick staycation in Baltimore my honey said I didn't have to drive to BMore for crab cake egg rolls, (I LOVE those things). He talked up Kitchen Savages and said they had them too and that I could go to DC for them. Keeping his title as the "BEST" to do all things, he brought me here to immediately try them out. Whoa! Okay, okay, so let's be honest, Kitchen Savages is in the hood and it's NOT giving "hood" vibes. Inside the restaurant, it's quite impressive. They have IKEA plates (which are super cute) and the ambiance gives an allure of upscale. Employees hands down, professional and on point! Service is fantastic. Let's get into it!Chicken and Red Velvet Waffle - Alexa play, Can't get enough by Tamia. Oooooooooooooooooooweeeeeeeeeeeeeee! You all see the picture, it was delicious! Eggs - Yummy! Signature Seafood Deviled Eggs - Alexa play, Yes by Beyoncé. Ermahgerd, can you love food this way? I'm guilty! Cleans my drool as I'm writing this. Crab cake egg rolls - Alexa play, Faithfully by Journey. I'm going to give them kudos but not sure they beat my beloved BMore staple. Maybe I need more and another go round. Good but not the best I've ever had. Overall my handsome partner in crime does it again, "food", a love language that only taste buds could share! Yelpies, this place gets my stamp of approval but use caution and go during the day. Ladies you can dim your lights on attire. So badly want to give them 5 stars but the price for the area, I'm not sure I'd come back just for the food at this price point. Worth every penny just not in this location."

"How can I accurately describe Infuse? Picture a 1974 Black Exploitation movie staring Bill Cosby chilling at a lounge. WELL, Infuse is that lounge!! "Lil Seymore" and "Big Percy" could walk in at any moment. My older friends may get that reference..lol Definitely a blast from the past!!Once you get past that nostalgic moment, it's time to EAT. The food at Infuse is darn right GOOOOOD!! I've been stopping by Infuse periodically for about 4 years now and I've NEVER had a bad experience. The crab and shrimp flat bread is a straight up HIT. You will never find better shrimp and grits and the Mac and Cheese ranks right up there with my dear Grandmother (RIH)!! As you might imagine from my opening soliloquy, they don't cheat on the drinks so don't leave twisted.. call an UBER!! LOLI love a good neighborhood hole in the wall but Infuse seems like a bit more than that. It has somewhat of a family feel and once you've stopped in a couple times you'll definitely be part of the family. If you're ever near Andrews Air Force Base, grab a bite right across the street, you'll thoroughly enjoy your experience while having a few laughs..LOL!!"

"Ok these turkey wings are calm off the bone good. The service is quick and friendly. These turkey wings will cost you 20$ it's a bit steep but you get 2 sides with it. I chose collard greens doubled. The turkey wings sit on a bed of rice. It so good and Turkey are hard to get out. So I pay for them. I have never got sick here and I feel like they take pride In their food preparation.It's looks like some remodeling is going on but currently there is no place to eat here. So they are not a lot of decor here but perhaps it will be open dining one day. I'll be back."

"Local staple in our community. Was craving Turkey wings and wasn't totally disappointed. They were cooked just (not too big like some I've had previously) gravy was tasteful however the rice was a little mushy(I'm sure that has happened to all of us at some point) cabbage was just okay -nothing to right home about but the yams weren't what I've had previously. I say that as they weren't sweet pretty bland(I've had better from here). The service was wonderful as I was greeted immediately once I entered the store and th e line moved quickly. No establishment is ever going to receive 5 stars every time as it's life. What I will say is that I've recommended this place if anyone asks for good soul food. Sadly I didn't take any pictures"

The others in my party thoroughly enjoyed their meals. All agreed that the eating utensils should be upgraded as what we used was of poor quality. I got the mumbo jerk wings and they're like Asian, sweet but still a little jerk. Fantastic. There's about 12 in the box. What I cannot recommend is the Mac n cheese... avoid at all costs.The restaurant is very small on the inside, less than 20 seats total. They play very loud lounge type music. The staff is relatively friendly. I'll certainly be back to try the "make your own bowl" option but will definitely put in an order for those wings again too."

I really like it. My only complaint is the speed of service. I have been four times and every single time it took forever to get our food. This may have changed with the re-open but I can't say. I guess I will have to see when I go back. Like it is so slow you could pre-order from Baltimore, drive to NE DC and take your time parking and maybe your order will be ready. Maybe..But if you have time to sit back, sip on your drinks, chit chat with your party and wait for your food for only God knows how long... I think you should give it a try."

"I had dinner last night with my cousin, who was visiting from New Orleans and craving good Southern cuisine. I figured this new spot would be worth a try, and overall, it didn't disappoint! The ambience is absolutely gorgeous. We went for dinner, but I can only imagine how stunning it must be during the day with the waterfront view. It's a great setting for catching up with family and friends. The food was really good and definitely reminded me of home. We started with oysters, corn, cornbread, and deviled eggs--all delicious. I also tried a pickled martini for the first time; while it wasn't my favorite, it was still an interesting experience. For dinner, we had the catfish and grits, chicken and waffles, and the hanger steak with fries. Everything was well-seasoned and flavorful. The service was solid--friendly and attentive. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that while everything was good, nothing completely blew me away. Still, I'd absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for quality Southern-inspired food in a beautiful setting."

I ordered the beef liver and onions with a side of Mac and cheese and candied yams. Cornbread was also provided. The liver was very tough to chew on but well seasoned. The macaroni and cheese tasted slightly watery and the noodles were soggy. The candied yams were a bit too sweet for me. I also ordered a slice of sweet potato pie, and that was too sweet for me (not pictured). I've had better soul food and will go elsewhere."

"This hidden gem can be found amongst the food court. It took us a second to find it but when we did we were so impressed. The woman who took care of us was so nice and even offered us a free drink. The chicken was phenomenal and the options of waffles were so fun and interesting. My only critique for this place is that it takes a bit to get your food (but there was only one person working so totally understandable) and there is an additional $1.00 charge to add three slices of strawberries to the waffle and we only got a few. However the quality of the food and the great taste caused us to quickly overlook that. Highly recommend the strawberry kiwi drink!"

In the interest of time, I place all my orders online. The staff is accommodating and Mad Cow is very friendly to the cycling community. My bike club has organized rides departing from both locations and we dined outside after the rides. One issue that can easily be addressed. I enjoy plantains but no longer order from here due to the shabby quantity. Mad cow charges $6 for a side and there are normally 5 or less pieces inside the cup. I won't run down the list of places that charge the same amount but you get much more. Aside from that, it's good! . Support!!"

I chose the lemon pepper shrimp which was pretty tasty. The fries were just ok. My boyfriend had the lemon pepper wings which he stated were delicious. The cheese steak egg rolls were complimentary due to us having to wait a little longer for our food because of a small mishap. I thought that was very nice of the business to do. We had not complained about the wait which made it even better for the business to acknowledge it. The customer service was awesome. It's not a very big place but, there is a small counter and few seats."
