"The crabs are fresh. I also bought some MD jumbo lump crab meat from there and the customer service is excellent."
"Probably the best crab cake I've had. Sal chatted with us for a bit. Turns out he moved here from California.I've been craving going back for more since my visit."
"The food is superb. The service is good but there is room for improvement. The salmon and shrimp cheesesteak is fiya! OMGEEE!"
"Last night my husband, my twin and I celebrated Christmas early at Feby's. Since my sister was on vacation and she and I are lobster lovers, we both ordered the lobster special. My 1 1/2 lb lobster was so fresh, sweet, and tender! It was some of the best lobster I've ever had. It rivaled lobsters I've eaten in Maine and Massachusetts, including annual summer vacations on Cape Cod! The warm bread that came with our meal had melted butter and herbs on it--delicious! The service last night was also excellent. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. I strongly recommend Feby's! We will be returning!"
"We love to order crabs from this location and typically have sit down meals at the Abington restaurant. I Extremely enjoyed my Valentines Day special. The sides of soup, Veggies, salad and cheesecake were a bonus! It was nice to have a delicious meal even though we were stuck at home with sick kids. They were a fan of the fries. My husband's meal was a bit of a let down tho. He wasn't asked how he wanted his burger cooked when ordering but it was way too raw. We will definitely be ordering again but remember to specify wellness if we get a burger in the future"
"Crabs were really good and hot. I got extra large males, not a bad one in the bunch. My new spot willing to take the drive"
"They're steamed crabs -- how can you go wrong? This place is a Bowie staple for many years. I think they have fair pricing and the crabs we got were great. I didn't personally think the crabcakes tasted the best, but now we know what to get. Also had fried shrimp, which was tasty."
"Great crabs & service. Call in what you want and it's always ready when you arrive. Crabs are always big & meaty."
"This was the first time I have ordered steamed crabs. We got a bushel ($200) for a party of approximately 20 people, and ate them on my rooftop deck.I called the order in the day before and they noted the pick-up time. Customer service was excellent, and they mentioned several deals that were going on. The order was on-time and ready when we arrived, packed in a water-resistant box, steaming hot. They provided a few mallets for us when we asked. The crabs were exceptional--large males, meaty, expertly spiced. I had feedback from the guests of the party about the crabs, and it was universally positive. Praise came from life-long Maryland folks well-versed in crabs, as well as from people who were trying them for the first time.Lastly, I have not ordered crabs from other places in town, so I don't know how they compare. However, I would recommend Gaffney's without hesitation!"
"In the middle of a pandemic and a trip to Baltimore is not an option? Harbour House Crabs is the best substitute in the area. Their prices are a bit high, but if you are really craving steamed blue crabs and the experience of spending hours picking tiny bites of crab meat out of spicy shells, this is your Go to. At various times I have been able to find Harbour House on some of the delivery sites I subscribe to, but for me, buying a 1/2 bushel of steamed crabs to make a mess in my dining room is not an impulse purchase that I suddenly choose for dinner. Call ahead and find out what the prices are, and schedule your order. I like to get them steamed in house and take them home hot. (A Styrofoam cooler works well for this.Price varies by the size of the crab, and generally I go with large male (aka Jimmy) crabs. Don't forget the mallets!"

My son & niece graduated and we decided to have a cookout for them. And what's a cookout in Baltimore without crabs. I didn't want to chance not getting good crabs so I came to the spot that I know.. Conrad's. We purchased a bushel, we probably didn't need that much as the crabs were big and full. The Team members were very helpful and my order did t take long as a called ahead. Everyone at the cookout was pleased with the crabs as well.

I come here pretty often for the 3 tacos combo they have. It's the only thing I've tried, and what I would recommend getting. My favorites are the steak, shrimp, or fish tacos. Service is always quick, and they are friendly every time!

Date of service; Jan 2024 (late post can't remember exact date in January last year)Ambiance: I love a good food market. This used to be the 6th street farmers market back in the day, if you're a native Washingtonian. It's set up really nice now and they make good use of the space. They have a huge counter here where ppl can order on both ends of the counter.Food: I ordered a salmon cheesesteak and potato wedges! One word, 3 syllables- A-MAZ-ING!! Everything is prepared cooked to order. It was hot in temperature, full of flavor and served with the best customer service one could ask for. The wedges were crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. I recommend trying this!

Quick service by Sofia taking care of me at the bar on quiet Good Friday to start their afternoon. Took it easy with 2 dozen oysters on their usual Friday special, each for a dollar. Can't beat that. As much as I could just keep eating oysters all afternoon I decided to try their house made potatoe salad with mayo, eggs, celery, paprika to compliment the oysters. The oysters were large and flavorful; clean well and served on a bed of ice along with cocktail sauce that has a good blend of spices that doesn't taste like the usual sauces. The bar is a little tight so I was glad that I could grab a single seat at the bar before the lunch rush starts. It's been a while since I've been here but if I have a Friday free you'll find me here!

Although I'm allergic to shellfish, my friends ALWAYS order from Conrad's and I have peeled almost half every time! (I do have to wear PPE gear, but it's worth it!) The crabs don't smell fishy or crabby. They smell like their marinade (old bay) and have it caked on. They are large and meaty and always very well cooked through and through. Peeling them is fun because I can explore their insides and challenge myself with getting as much meat out of their legs as possible! It's a wonderful experience and I'm just sorry I won't ever be able to visit the store.

yes definitely recommend, I followed the reviews of others and purchased the small crabs only because I'm really allergic and didn't want to waste money. they were heavy very meaty and as I was told they would allow me to feel them...they were heavy and very tasty so was the corn. the young laddies at the counter were amazing and displayed excellent knowledge and great great great customer service skills. I would definitely go back and definitely recommend them.

"Let's talk about the food! We ordered a grilled platter with a crab cake, grilled shrimp and grilled scallops. Delicious!!! Everything was cooked to perfection! My husband ordered the crab meat cheesesteak and he says it was delicious. We ordered the fried calamari and it was fresh and delicious although the portion was rather small. Lastly, we ordered the shrimp tacos, which were amazing! An overall great experience, I will definitely eat here again!"
"I love the fish here. My wife and I went in to buy some crab cakes for our family for dinner and enjoy a shrimp cocktail together while we were there. We bought the shrimp cocktail, 8 shrimp, enough for two. The manager served us the shrimp but no cocktail sauce. I requested some. He told us we had to buy it. What? He pointed to the fridge where there was a tub for sale. I said I just wanted enough to enjoy our "shrimp cocktail." He reaches under the counter and gives me a plastic cup with about a tablespoon of cocktail sauce. I asked for another because there wasn't enough for one let alone both of us. "No," he said, pointing to the tub in the fridge, "that's all you get. Buy some if you want more."Well that really dampened our experience, took the joy out of the moment. I never understand when a pricey upscale place makes a point of gouging you for necessities of the meal. I spent about $50 (36 for the crabcakes, 12 for the cocktail). Next they'll be charging for napkins. Food was good. But they get 2 stars because the service was regrettable. If I had it to do over again I would have gone elsewhere for our dinner to avoid that experience."
"Since my last review I see a bunch of one star reviews. I read most of them and honestly, it seems like they are from people who tried Bills and for whatever reason had one unfortunate bad experience, and didn't contact the store to discuss. We've been going to bills for years and not only have we never had a truly bad experience, but even the once or twice where a couple of the crabs weren't perfect when we contacted the store they absolutely made it right. Don't listen to all these one star reviews. Loyal customers, know that Bill's is high-quality and consistent. Bill's seafood and iconic. Legendary. Irreplaceable. If you're looking for fresh steamed crabs then this is the place to go. Honestly I would choose bills over almost any other local crab shack for crabs to go. The steamed shrimp are decent but not as fantastic as the crabs. If you're getting crabs here then you might as well get the rest of your items as well, but I wouldn't go here if I was only ordering shrimp. They have plenty of frozen selections as well as package goods, and carry a wide selection of J.O. Products. And they have Hank's hot sauce!!! Hank's is a local regional hot sauce brand... it's amazing.I'll be honest, I haven't gotten crabcakes or crab imperial here, but I can't imagine they wouldn't be good. I simply don't waste my time on them because I always get steamed crabs. If I haven't made it clear, this is the place to go for steamed crabs. And if you go here for any reason then you should be getting steamed crabs. Anything else is just something on the side."
"Soft shell crab sandwich! Hard to find and well cooked. The potato salad was yummy. I appreciated the small potato chips that was included. It was busy, but once others there before me were waited on, my food was ready and warm. Wish they had salads and more soups that are not pepper-spicy. I have a tender mouth and sensitive sinuses that don't tolerate much pepper. The staff is friendly and hard-working. Overall, a good experience."
"I recently planned a crab feast with some friends and we decided to get ours from Parkville! The staff was very nice and we were able to order ahead for a very seamless experience. I was super excited because crabs have been so expensive recently and I thought these were an extremely fair price. My only wish was that they had more sides to go along with the crabs. Otherwise this was a super easy and nice experience!"
"Located in Northeast Market. This market is a renovated and smaller version of Lexington Market. Metered parking lot and street parking. Lunch time can be very hectic. Same environment with a mix of JH employees and patients. A man was selling crabmeat in front of my car. Yes, crabmeat. Anyway, Shore's is a fresh seafood stall who sells cooked food as well. The seafood is fresh and the prices aren't too high. Family owned for decades. The food is cooked to order, so be prepared to wait. The offer clams, crabcakes, shrimp, salmon, lake trout, etc. The main seafood entrees are good, but their side dishes are a miss...except for the french fries. They lack flavor. *When I'm in the area and don't feel like cooking, I stop by here. I only get fish or crabcakes and prepare my sides at home."
"Absolutely one of the best places for seafood! Service is great & always friendly! Food is fresh and delicious & reasonable prices. Definitely a 5/5. If you're in the area you have to stop by and try the food! You won't be disappointed.Review for 5/26/20- Ordered takeout tonight including the 3 fish tacos for $5 special, 2 pounds of shrimp (1 steamed & 1 fried) & a crab pretzel. Everything was fresh and delicious. The steamed shrimp were perfectly seasoned and cooked. The fried shrimp were butterflied & large as were the size of the steamed shrimp. The fried fish tacos came with fresh tomatoes, lettuce and cheese which were also seasoned perfectly. The crab pretzel was huge about 12" and covered in crab dip and cheese. Sooo delicious..I can't say enough about how delicious this food was. I don't have any pictures since as soon as it was in the door everyone was at the table ready to pick their favorite items. Needless to say everyone had a full meal and was completely satisfied. We are definitely customers for life. The fact they have no eat in area is fine with us and perfect during the current pandemic-easy to order & pick up. Highly recommend this place!"
"Recommended by our host Scott on our trip in Kent Island. Had a nice phone call with the lady at the front who told me the market price and explained how ordering steamed crabs works. She said they've been in business for three generations, and to trust them. Ordered two dozen number 1 sized crabs and they smelled heavenly in the car. They were also heavy and came with low sodium salad to balance out the heavy seasoning. Took a family of four 3 hours to eat them because there was so much crab. Would highly recommend Hunter's Crabs to anyone in the area. No wonder people say they travel hours to get crabs from here."
"A friend of mine referred me to this place as I was in search for a nice fresh whole fish. When you first walk in you are greeted with a hello by an employee up front. You will see that they are famous for making delicious sandwiches. A lot of people come here for lunch. When you start walking towards the back you will see all fresh meat such as Chicken, Beef, Pork, and Fish. They are all in separate areas. The store is very clean and the prices are competitive. They have specialty mustards, cheeses and many more items. They hot & cold food that is freshly prepared. They also have deserts that looked delicious. This market has everything in here. This is a great find and I am now a regular customer!!!!! I hope you will enjoy as much as I."
"I ordered a bushel of crabs to be delivered on Saturday. They said to expect delivery at noon and at noon my crabs came. They came with a mallet , bibs, little things to pry crabs out with and lots of spices and seasoning. So, a lot of the crabs only had one claw. Not sure whether they got into a fight or what? Lots of missing claws. Other than that I would order again and they were delicious.Oh, the other thing of concern is that I paid almost $73 shipping for overnight. When I read the invoice it showed that it shipped on Thursday at 4 PM. If I don't get them till Saturday at noon, how old were my crabs and why did I pay for such a cost for shipping? They were plentiful, tasty, some bumps in the road but I think I would order again!"
"In my travels I am forced to eat out a lot I really enjoy this jewel here! It's worth the ride!"
"The crabs area seasoned well and the meat is sweet. Prices are really good and the fish is always hot and fresh. The down side is people hang out in front of the establishment."
"Fast, fresh and delicious.I would recommend to people that enjoy seafood.Only drawback is there is no dine-in"
"I've ordered for pickup (had someone else pick it up) the three times I've eaten here. Can't comment on the actual establishment but the food! Omg!Let's start. First time around I ordered the fried shrimp platter with fries. Delicious! Shrimp fried to perfection, fries nice and crispy, hot and golden. I got the dipping sauce that's orange in color, kind of taste like ketchup and Mayo mix.Second time, I got the catfish platter with Mac n cheese and collard greens. Catfish, perfect! Crunchy on the edges, moist inside. The Mac n cheese, not a big fan of it. Almost tasted like box Mac n cheese. Kinda dry, over cooked. The greens, same thing. Tasted like canned greens, lacked seasonings. Comparing both to sides I've tried from other similar establishments, they could use a little work. Third time, I got the catfish platter again, this time with Hush puppies and fries. Hush puppies were flavorful and yummy. Fries, crispy and golden. Catfish, need I say more! Yummy. Overall I'm satisfied with my platter.I would absolutely order from J's again and again, modifying which platters I try and sides. If you're looking for yummy dinner or lunch that's hot, quick and filling, this is your place!"
"I used to love Faidley's crab cakes. They were SO amazing and every time I travel near Baltimore, I'd stop there. Yesterday was the first time I've been in probably 7-8 years. Time has not been kind. I'm a native from the DMV so I've been eating crabs and crab cakes my whole life. The crab cakes here used to be so awesome because they used minimal binders. That has changed. They use a lot more binders in the crab cake and it really detracts from the overall quality and texture. The greens also used to be on point. But these were mushy and lacked flavor. The potato salad was slapping though. That hasn't changed. My boyfriend got the catfish platter and the fish was cooked to perfection. Sweet tea was very good as well. But $32 for a mid level crab cake and mushy greens? Not again."
