"If you haven't been to this place but want to, I strongly suggest you go during happy hour or on a Monday (all day happy hour!). I went with a friend during happy hour and loved the selection of food and drinks. We each ordered a sangria (available red or white) and split 4 apps. Even with the auto-gratuity of 20%, the meal was still very affordable!We ordered the bang bang shrimp (not part of happy hour), crab dip, smoked wings, and roasted brussel sprouts. The wings and crab dip were okay (I could've sworn it used to come with pretzels) but I loved the brussel sprouts and bang bang shrimp. The food also came out really quick, which was a nice plus."

The ambiance was perfect. the waiter, James was knowledge about the menu and made good recommendations for food and desert. He got busy by the end of the service. The manager rushed our bill to us like it was time to leave.The food was fresh for the most part. We noticed the sides like the rice seemed to be made from a box mix. They were not hot. We were the first ones in the restaurant for dinner service. The Calamari was a little bit greasy like it wasn't drained properly. Overall, the restaurant was pretty and clean."

It had been a while since I ordered from Pep Boys, but I had a hankering for a good pit beef sandwich and fries. The pit beef sandwich was moist medium rare and warm to the touch, exactly the way you would want it served. It had a smoky flavor and had the perfect meat to bun ratio. Flavor was magnificent. One of the best pit beef so I've had in a long time, even during the quarantine they're putting out awesome products.The french fries in my opinion stole the show, even though they probably came out of a frozen bag from your local grocery store, where in the earth do you find crinkle cut fries now days. They were piping hot and extra crispy with a little salt and pepper on them made the meal perfectIf you're quarantined and scared to be around other people, place your order ahead using the yelp app, watch the timer and then enter the store, which has been perfectly social distanced inside take your meal go home and enjoy."

The chickens was crispy and on display. I will say they are heavy handed on the salt. We tasted heavy salt in the Greens and on the fish it was a bit overpowering. Ambiance: fairly new space. Looks well kept. Plenty of seating and windows. there is seating for gourps of 4 but they allowed us to pull 2 tables together because we had a party of 6. I would definitely recommend this place because the food was good. Im hoping the salt thing was not a typical experience."

"I live very close to Boom Boom Crab Seafood and literally drove past the restaurant everyday when I went out for my early morning coffee. I remember when me and my husband first saw the sign and instantly became super excited! We've been waiting months for give them a try, finally, we got our chance this past Friday. There was formerly an Advanced Auto in this location and the structure sat vacant for many years, I am glad someone finally decided to do something with the space! I was very surprised by the size of the venue, I definitely didn't expect for it to be so roomy. The owners really did an awesome job with the decor. The seats were very comfortable, the tables were large and there were literally TVs everywhere, so you didn't have to break your neck to watch what was playing. It was also very clean, which is a must during times of COVID.Our waiter, who was a nice gentleman from Jamaica, provided us with awesome customer service. He was very knowledgeable when it came to the menu. He offered us suggestions and explained any menu items we had a question about. We decided on the create your own seafood boil, while my husband enjoyed a rum punch and I had a side salad. The crab boil was the perfect size for the both of us. The boom! seasonings was very tasty and married all of the seafood, corn and potatoes together masterfully. All of the food was very fresh and cooked perfectly. The boil did get a little salty at the bottom, but literally every crab boil I've had ends that way. All and all, I had a really great experience! I cannot wait to return and bring my sons along for the trip."

"I can't believe I have never reviewed Portside. Portside was originally an oyster house and overlooks Cambridge Creek and the historic drawbridge going into downtown Cambridge. Portside has beautiful views whether you're sitting outside, upstairs or downstairs, you can watch the waterman on the workboats, returning from the days catch or local tour boats. This is where the locals hang. I always order the same thing the warm pretzel sticks with hot cheese crab dip and the dry wings with old bay. One bite of the hot cheese crap dip and you will agree it's the best dip ever. Portside has the best Old Bay chicken wings recipe with dry rub. Dogfish Head 60-minute IPA on tap makes for my favorite lunch."

The Grilled Chicken and Shrimp Tato was mine oh mine and packed w flavor. It was so plentiful and took me 3 sittings to finish. I'm used to eating chinese food in nyc, philly, princeton so my expectations are medium to high and I was just so unsure. But today my urge for American Chinese food grew too strong and I caved. Boy am I glad I did!I LOVE chinese food and this place is the perfect takeout spot and realllllly good veggie options! I wanted to find a chinese takeout in Baltimore and this will be my go to. It was tasty, flavorful, spicy in a good way, quick and delicious!I ordered hot and sour soup, veggie lo mein and Kung pao tofu. They made everything vegetarian and even added extra sauce to my tofu dish per my request. For $18 including the UBEREATS fee, i got all of this and have enough for 3 entire meals!! What a bargain.I'm so impressed and happy. Really confused about the negative reviews and I'm glad I decided to just take the chance and order even though I was extremely apprehensive. I always leave a review only if a place is really good or really terrible and this definitely falls into the first category.Last note - I called the restaurant with some questions and the lady was super patient and helpful. "My favorite Maryland hot pot place so far! Everything is fully buffet style, where you pick your base and can get unlimited meat/seafood/veggies for the price of $32 per adult. Overall a very good deal for AYCE with free soup refills as well! I personally really enjoyed the mushroom soup base, but also heard great things about the tom yum, szechuan spicy, and healthy herbal bases from my friends that I went with. The service is also great, with chicken karaage served immediately after being seated, and refills of soup base occasionally and also when requested. The winter melon tea is also excellent, and the dessert selection includes ice cream, fruits, and sesame balls (a personal favorite of mine). I sometimes struggle at hot pot places to find food I can eat as someone that doesn't eat beef/pork, but was pleasantly surprised to see such a large seafood, vegetable, and non red meat selections.A very classic sauce bar, which is ofc one of the most make or break aspects of any hot pot restaurant. The ambiance is very cozy, especially when seated in the side booths with bigger groups. Looking forward to my next trip here!"
