"When I went here, my small party of three ordered a lot to get a taste of the menu: yuca frita con chicharrón, pupusas, baleadas, tamales de elote, horchata, and some jugos. The service was good, the restaurant was clean, but the food tasted like the oil could have been fresher, and there seemed to be a lot more excess oil than I'm used to. This was especially evident in the yuca frita. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt because we came later in the evening, but I do think a popular dish like yuca con chicharrón should be on-point all the time."

"Super good + Birria-lent! ;) A fast-casual Mexican-American restaurant at the back of a supermarket gives speakeasy vibes. The lunchtime line was long but moved quickly and lets you decide from their wall menu. I ordered Birria Tacos from their specials which are listed on a board closer to the cash register. They were fucking delicious! With deep flavors and lots of dipping stew, I super enjoyed this! I also tried their Tortilla Chips with salsa. They were excellent-- thin, crunchy, and grease-free. "The Good:Upon entering, I noticed the establishment was spotless and the atmosphere was nice. I was greeted and seated quickly and waited on by a pleasant staff. I was given chips and salsa, and I ordered the beans nacho as an appetizer and then the veggie enchiladas that came with a side of rice and beans as a meal. They both were out in light ten or fifteen minutes, and both meals were delicious. The waitress was attentive, coming to my table multiple times to ask if everything was ok. The Bad:Though the I thought the enchiladas, rice, and beans were delicious, I there were a couple of hard, uncooked rice that kind of took away from the enjoyment of the meal. Judgment: Overall it was a great experience. (I do recommend this place.)"

"I found Linsy's one day while I was working from home via the Grubhub app. I was looking for something different to eat for breakfast, so why not order a Mexican breakfast? Boy, did I make the right decision! The Chilaquiles Rojos served with black beans and eggs was amazing! I've even ordered the same meal with a side of chicken to having a more filling plate. They chicken nachos are equally as amazing. They top the nachos with so much goodness, you really need a fork to eat them. Previously, I've also tried the surf and turf meal and a shrimp taco has as well. Every dish has been a hit!"

"I'd heard about this place from others, so was looking forward to our planned lunch pickup from them. We were driving through the area and wanted to grab some tacos for lunch. We called ahead to order and that requires some patience as the atmosphere in the background is lively and you need to make sure you're clear in your request. The PDF menu online and what is on the online order menu are different - both pricing and options - so we stuck with the filling choices from the PDF menu. I went for a chicken taco and a chorizo taco. They are on two corn tortillas (flour available by request for a slight upcharge) that are amply filled with meat that is clearly well prepared and seasoned. All tacos are served with a side of cilantro, onions, radish and cucumbers with two salsas (red and green). The chorizo was by far my favorite, but both were good. They were filling and just what we needed for lunch that day."

The food was delicious, coming out hot and fresh, with tender and flavorful meat. They were on top of any extras we may have wanted - grilled jalapeños, house made hot sauce, etc. Everything was reasonably priced as well. I can't wait to come back and try more of their dishes!"

"Went here for breakfast after seeing a video review. I love some authentic Mexican food. So I got a breakfast burrito $7 not bad I guess I wish I was able to load it better but they charge like 75 cents for extra. Makes me miss California Mexican food cuz the give you all the extra onions, pico and green sauce this place didn't do that so it'll my burrito was a bit dry to my taste. But the service was nice very simple no complicated and the ambience of the restaurant was clean it's inside of a gas station."

As I continue my goal of eating every pupusa in Baltimore, this golden beauty will linger on my taste buds as one to beat. I'll be back to celebrate the cooking of the illustrious Mama Tana and I might even dabble in something other than pupusas."

"So Yelp has this new feature on the home page of the app, curated collections. I found this papusa joint with 4.5 stars under " cheap eats" 2 miles from home. It's a standalone building in the industrial side of Beltsville, on the far side of the tracks. Slightly seedy atmosphere, like a diner way off the main road. Steady stream of customers even on a Saturday afternoon. Between my 50 year old high school Spanish and pointing to the menu, I managed to place my order.The papusas are incredible, large, real corn flavor, and generously filled for a modest $2 each. The dipping sauce didn't seem to have its own flavor but enhanced anything that I baptized. Interesting slaw: room temperature, no dressing, crisp cabbage with carrot slivers and a bit herb I didn't recognize, with just a touch of hot pepper.The yuca was perfectly fried, crisp outside and creamy inside. Likewise the chunks of pork, juicy and just a little chew. Jamaica nicely balanced and complex.Sorry, Nelly's, I have a new Salvadoran local favorite. A hidden gem worth the detour. Easy five ***** for taste and value, if you don't like the atmosphere get take out. Ole!"

"Less than 8 days ago, I decided to pay another visit to the El Dorado restaurant in Hyattsville Maryland to pick up some steak for my husband and I when I was visiting with him. We both again liked the steak and I also enjoy the pico de gallo and lime that come with the steak orders. The employees handling my order were polite and processed my order in a reasonable timeframe."

I discovered this place on Yelp and decided to place an order. The parking lot has many spots for patrons. As you walk in the restaurant, you are met with amazing food aromas. The pupusas here are phenomenal. I would recommend getting or lunch or dinner at Wendy's Pupuseria."

"I am not Latino, but enjoy trying new foods...we stumbled upon these folks on a Sunday evening around 8pm ish. We ordered Tacos de Carne, Papusas Frijol con Queso, & Baleadas de carne.The taco has very minimal carne/meat, and was therefore disappointing. The papusas were unremarkable. BUT the baleadas de carne was the most delicious 'latino' (apparently its from Honduras) food item I have ever enjoyed - it was memorable & delicious I will revisit to enjoy the baleadus de carne"
