"What a find!We were looking for something unique to try before a show at the Hippodrome and this fit the bill. We made online reservations which was great because it got full quick. We were greeted by our wonderful server who was from Turkey and she was so helpful with the menu and enthusiastic about many of the menu items. The menus were on tablets which was different and kind of fun! We started with the hummus sampler that we received for checking in on Yelp. It came with warm bread that they quickly refilled when we ran out. The hummus was DELISH! It was smooth and flavorful and just perfect! We each got a glass of wine to drink and that was lovely and we also tried the "Turkish" milk "shot" and kind of sipped it before dinner. It tasted just like a good and plenty and it was nice and cold. I enjoyed it. For dinner I had this beef wrap that was spicy and sooo flavorful. It was like a turkish meatball of sorts and it was just so well done. The rice and yogurt sauce it was served with really completed the dish. Wow. My husband had this lamb stew that was out of this world. It reminded me of a peruvian dish I love - lomo saltado. It had that spice with onions and tomatoes and it was warm and comforting. Excellent. For dessert we had turkish coffee which was like an espresso and we shared the two desserts they recommended. The flan was perfect and light and the other one (kind of like a baklava but not lol) was super sweet so they complimented each other along with the coffee. We left so satisfied and happy with our choice and were so happy to find this gem during our evening in Baltimore!"
"I dropped in for a Tuesday night quick dinner. There were many group celebrations going on and the bar was pretty packed.GLOWS:-The greek salad was pretty good. The chicken was cooked well and the salad dressing was good. -There is a good selection of dessert, although I was too full to indulge. I will try some on the next visit-I enjoyed their roasted potatoes as well! GROWS:-They have changed the spanakopita recipe from the past. It still had a good flavor but I could do without the sesame seeds"

"Went to Lebanese Taverna on a really busy night but the food did not disappoint! Everything had such good flavor and we tried a bunch of different appetizers to fill our tummies. The falafel was very yummy as well as the hummus. Overall, I will be back to try more items with a bigger group. The location in harbor east is great - right by the water!"
"Great food and great service at reasonable prices. Nice bar and a decent although relatively short drinks list. Star items:1. Tuna tartare - Wild bigeye tuna tossed with Meyer lemon and Greek extra virgin olive oil with cucumbers, shallots, and avocado mousse. Lots of great flavors and textures. Decent portion size.2. The lamb shank - slow braised. Super tender and flavorful. Paired with orzo and a vegetable stew.Logistics: Plenty of parking. Reservations via Open Table. On line ordering via Toast at https://order.toasttab.com/online/xenia-greek-kouzina-8850-columbia-100-parkway"
"This was hands-down the best crab cake we have had since moving to Baltimore, at a cheaper price than most seafood restaurants. Im as surprised as anyone, but there it is: The menu said it was Guy Fieri's favorite, and I'll bet it's true. The sweet tea was clearly freshly brewed, and the sausage sandwich on brioche was delightful, but the crab cake is what we will be back for."
"Spinach pie - fluffy outside and tangy inside- nice and hot Fries- hot fresh and crispy, not too salty Beef shawarma- HUGE portion! Good flavor, nice and hot. The garlic sauce is so tasty and definitely powerful. I got rice instead of salad, but I think salad would have been a better choice to pair with the beef. There's also a nice big basket of warm naan that comes with it.Chicken shishkabob sandwich- WOW! Blew my socks away. The beef shawarma was good but this was the star of the show. Insane flavor and the chicken was juicy with that nice grilled flavor. Service- friendly, genuine, and fast but not rushing us. Good recommendations for newcomers & had answers for all our questions Atmosphere- dimly lit, comfortable, clean, and not crazy packed. We got there around 5pm on a Sunday, but around 6 is when a few more tables filled up."
"Friendly service in the neighborhood favorite. Huge portions of delicious food, I have lamb skewers and my husband had the gyro platter, we both had leftovers for lunch the next day. Full bar, delicious margarita, southwest egg rolls, stuffed grape leaves and spiced olives were great apps. The home made baklava was a sweet end to a fabulous meal."
"Very nice inside. I eat so much of the combination appetizer I can barely eat my meal. Man is it good. Friendly. Overall love the place"
"Came here for a quick bite before a concert at Soundstage based on other Yelp reviews. I'm so glad I did! The food was flavorful, fresh, fairly priced, and fast. This will now be my go-to before concerts in the area!"
"When I hear advice to eat more Mediterranean diet this is what I imagine. Cute cozy dining space, the ambiance is conducive for quiet/creative introspection with a variety of local artwork or a relaxing meal with the family. Everything is prepared fresh, portions are generous and satisfying but delicious food prepared well leaves us energized, not sluggish. Kounafa and toasted nut Baklava is the perfect dessert. Try with some fresh brewed tea leaves. Service is impeccable, Ryan took very good care of us throughout. A must try in Federal Hill!!"
"The original Greek seafood on Baltimore and still the best! Before it was trendy it was Black Olive. For over 25 years on Fells Point, Black Olive has served the best and freshest seafood. Staff is terrific. Attentive, friendly, informative, everyone at Black Olive is here to make you feel special. Standouts are the dorade, the bronzino, the eggplant dip, the squid ink pasta (unreal!!) and the lamb chops. nothing will disappoint you. And then the wine list. Varied and extensive and the team is most knowledgeable. We had the treat this last time w Alain serving the wine and Janine serving the food. We were introduced to some great wine recommendations and pairings. It's a must eat and one of the few great Baltimore restaurants that's independent and unique. Enjoy!"
"Happy Hour was fun fun fun! Not only was a time had, the company was even better! The bar was packed to capacity, but we were accommodated at the perfect time to share food and a great chat amongst newly made friends. The pinsa was light and fluffy, the oliva fritta was sooooo addictive (a MUST ORDER), and the Arancina was a buttery compliment to wash it all down. Lighting and vibes were top notch! Cosima will ALWAYS be a repeat drop-in/indulge moment!"

Wow, we really loved Cazbar. Cazbar is a quaint and inviting restaurant located in the Mount Vernon area of Baltimore and an easy walk from the Hotel Indigo where we were staying. We were there on Friday night and we did not have a reservation. We were seated right away but they were doing a brisk business. We started with the trio of Mezes which was a choice of three mezes from their Mixed Meze Plate. We chose Hummus, Baba Ghanoush and Yogurtlu Patlican. The hummus was excellent but the Yogurtlu Patlican was outstanding. I don't know what was in it besides yogurt, but it was really good. So good we needed more of Cazbar's delicious home made bread to finish it off. My wife and I shared the Lamb three Ways consisting of lamb chops, lamb Kebap & Adana Kebap Lamb Pirzol. Again an excellent dish. All of the lamb was cooked perfectly and was well seasoned and not dry.We had a great meal at Cazbar, it was one of the better or best Turkish places we have been too. Prices were reasonable and service was excellent. They have belly dancing too on some evenings. Highly recommended.

My husband chose this restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday because we were near the Towson area. I have been to this restaurant before however, this is my first time doing a review. It was a nice crowd during a weeknight. The server was on point. We ordered green tea shots for the table. The calamari and bbq wings as an appetizer. The chicken caesar wrap was not the best for me. The chicken was dry and definitely not seasoned. The garden salad was fresh however, the crab dip was definitely burnt on top. Overall, I would return with a group per their request however, I probably would not come back on my own.

Ambiance 4/5 Very cute spot with plenty of seating for our huge part of 10. Bright lighting with bar lining the front lobby and great décor. The place had 2 big parties while we were there and the place had more than enough space to accommodate all of us including other guest. Food 4/5The salmon was very tender and well seasoned. Hummus appetizers was shareable and favorable, must order. Service 5/5 Great service and the waiter was the funniest when recommending drinks. Accommodating for all our guest and request. We appreciate his patience. Price: This was an paid meal from our guest and we were grateful for it. I couldn't tell you what the prices were but our total was about $700.00 for 10 people. Overall great restaurant, Lebanese food is a must try if you haven't!

Wow wow WOW is all I can say about Sip and Bite. Literally every time I come here, it's always so good, so full of flavor, and literally made with love. This will always be my favorite diner to go to. I've never had a single issue with this establishment. My service is always good, and it's so warming to get the same waitress every time. I forget her name at this moment, but I remember she has locs. She's so lovely and personable, I just know I'll be taken care of whenever I come. The establishment is admittedly a little on the smaller side, but it just adds to the charm in my opinion. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our food, especially the Stuffed French Toast. Oh good Lord it was not even overly sweet, everything like popped in my mouth, it was indescribably good in my opinion. Down to even the whipped cream. I can also understand why Guy Fiery loves and stands by the Crab Cakes here. The Cheseapeake Benedict was oh so amazing, flavorful, cooked to perfection. Some of the best crab cakes I've ever had. The cheese grits were also 10/10 most delicious and creamy. I've had Lavender lemonade before, and this one here was also very tasty. I can't wait to come back to try more!

My friends and I came to Zaatar after it was highly recommended by friends from Baltimore and a local Uber driver. Ambiance & Service: Service was slow, but the staff was super friendly. We went around 6:30 pm, and it wasn't super busy for in-person dining, but you could see lots of pickup and delivery orders. The seating area was spacious and could fit large groups. Price: $$: moderately priced for the portion sizes. Food: My friends and I got the mixed shawarma and Tabbouleh salad. Everything was super tasty, and the portions were really generous! BYOB, and they don't have tap water. Pro-tip: don't say water is fine because they'll automatically bring you bottled water, costing you $2.

Great food. Nice service. We ordered chicken kabob and lamb shawarma wrap. Lamb could have used some spices but that's just my personal preference. It was otherwise great. We also ordered falafel and hummus. Hummus was nice! Falafel wasn't quite fried inside and the batter was a bit raw. Happens sometimes, I didn't mind it though. They also have pastas and burgers on their menu. So, it's American, Italian, and Mediterranean under one roof. Will certainly visit again.

We took my mom to Rudy's Mediterranean Grill while in town visiting over the Christmas Holiday. She wasn't familiar with Turkish food, so we ordered the appetizer sampler. We had every intention of ordering an entree, but our eyes were bigger than our bellies. The sampler was delicious and a generous size, even for a party of 3. We had leftovers. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful, pronouncing the difficult food names and describing the appetizers. We asked him to recommend a dry Turkish white wine that we absolutely loved. The decor was reminiscent of my time in North Africa, with globe mosaic chandeliers and Turkish pendant lights. We would visit again when we're in town and go straight for the entrees.

"Omg I love this food truck with my whole heart. Chicken over rice is my go-to meal always, and they did not let me down. They heap on the chicken (it's 2 meals for me), the chicken is flavorful, it's freaking cheap for the amount they give you, and it's soooo good. I ask for extra white sauce and red sauce (spicy!) and it's amazing. I'm brown and Muslim, so my halal food opinion matters, too (lol). Definitely would recommend. It's located in the trifecta corner outside of Power Plant (choosing between this place, Poyoteca, and Kabul is incredibly difficult, but I don't think there's a wrong decision to be made)."
"5 Stars for this AMAZING restaurant! Serving authentic Shawarma and freshly made falafel on a big fresh puffy pita bread -packed with anything and everything you like from sumac onions, eggplant, cucumber and tomato salad with lemon, spicy shug, hummus, cabbage, pickled beets, red cabbage, seasoned carrots, beautiful caramelized onions, pickles, chickpeas and other spiced delights! For a bargain $13.95 shawarma pita, it's huge and packed to the brim and overflowing! Ain't no way you're going to be able to eat it all unless you're a 6'2 weightlifter! You gotta try this place! Very clean too!"
"Marie Louise continues to be a Mt Vernon staple, known for great food and friendly service. Nice atmosphere with seating options at both the upper and main floor."
"Great Indian food for a great price - flavorful and reliable. Super convenient location right in Canton Square!"
"I like this place very much! I come here all the time, bc they have great food, and quick service. Their kabobs are flavorful and grilled to order. Their daily specials are amazing too! My favorite is their curry lamb. I like how all the entrees are served with bread, salad and seasoned rice, There is plenty of seating in their bright inviting dining area. That's why I keep going back."
"A few people had mentioned Pitamore as kind of a hidden gem, and when I had jury duty a few weeks ago, I thought, "Perfect!" When we got our lunch break, I walked over and made an entirely too large rice/shawarma bowl (too large because almost every topping looked great so I just saying, "and that... and that... and yes, that too..."). And it was delicious. Just like people said. I did the mixed shawarma - even the chicken was good and not dry?! The fried eggplant was delicious. The tahini was great, the pickles, the slaw, the ... everything! Finally a fast casual place where I like every topping. The pita on the side was great. It was just a great lunch. No complaints, no notes. I actually can't wait to have jury duty again?"
"Great place for some delicious food. Everything was served just right! The Rose water sherbet and Syria coffee was very good. The portion were so big we thought the plates would fall off the table, which were a bit small for two. Service was fast and our food came quickly. They also have some great desserts downstairs but we were too full. A very enjoyable dinner watching the snow fall, felt like we were transported to another world."
"I've gotten food to go here several times. Each time, order is 100% correct, freshly made with quality ingredients, and delicious. I love the chicken gyro. The falafel is really good too. One thing is I wish the lamb meat in the gyro was shaved or sliced instead of chunks. But the individual baklava with each order is such a nice touch!"
"A decent fast casual option in Tenleytown. Their grilled chicken is thick and fresh, so if you want your protein, they are a solid option. Hummus is good, but their pita could be a tad fresher. Overall, they deliver a satisfying meal, though."
"My first review of 2025! I was here on Sunday, July 21, 2024 with my girlfriend. We had a couple of events going on in Baltimore City on that hot Sunday in July. A few years ago, my friend who used to live in Baltimore recommended the R House food hall. R House has a wide variety of different cuisines. I feel like I might've gotten tacos in the late 2010's but honestly don't remember, I just remembered this food hall as a viable option. There's limited parking but better than no parking and remembered I parked on the street, but in 2024 I was lucky to get a spot at lunchtime.I told my girlfriend we should eat at R House since it was on the way to where we were going and was a cool place. We both settled on Koshary Corner as a Mediterranean bowl sounded good that day where you build in what you want such as the generous portions of chick peas, meat, etc. It was great, maybe not the very best I've had but it was up there. The price was slightly more expensive than comparable bowls, but it was above average. I didn't love the ordering on the screen only as I had a couple of questions, but I figured it out ok with the screen. Also, the issue I have with businesses that do this is that you can't use cash, which I don't like; even though I was going to pay with credit, it's the principle of it. There was a bit of confusion on how the order was happening, but took maybe slightly longer than it should've for but got a text although my phone was on silent so I was a minute late. We sat in the middle area of R House. There's a water station in the bar area with courtesy cups which makes things easier as I generally drink water with meals. Overall, in spite of a few negatives, I'd come back to Koshary if I'm back at R House."
"Every restaurant has a different style of how to make Greek food. Paul's Homewood Grill makes a really good Greek salad but it's just not the way I like my salads made. The food is always awesome. The service is great and wow why don't unique restaurant design they have going on in here give it a shot."
"My first visit to Chris' Pit and it was exceptional. I don't know how we got the best server but He was dynamic. It was a special occassion and I had dinner with my son, his date & my wife. The meal was less than $100 and with the delicious food we got it was a steal. I was impressed with the servers way of hadnling the order and the way it was delivered. Also, while we were finishing up our meal, the female server stopped and picked up finished plates and glasses it seem very effecient. Plus we were served so much we had to get three take bowls to bring home."
"Amazing food. Good service and generous portions. Loved it! It was worth the drive since it's not close to home. Go and check it out."
"Called for delivery On Christmas day eve and immediately got through to an extremely pleasant knowledgeable and helpful Staffer. We ordered an extra large pizza with multiple toppings and a no cheese pizza for someone with a dairy allergy. Also three Mediterranean salads and an order of DolmadesThe pizza was fabulous. Clearly freshly made dough wonderfully complex sauce, spicy pepperoni and fresh cut mushroomsThe salad was fresh, crunchy, and a great balance of vegetables. The dolmades were wonderfully firm and expertly seasonedThis will be our pizza place from now on.Thank you Aden's!"
"Not the first time here but love it every time we come. The food is delicious!!! We order a platter for two and always take quarter of it home. Meat is always fresh, onions are well seasoned (like it used to be at home - Central Asia), fries are homemade and bread is always fresh. Yummy!! They have a seating area for dine-in, small cute blue square tables for 2-4 people. Perfect for kids (have high chairs). Plenty of parking. A good place for a quick (not quick read below;) bite, pick-up and local foodies. The only downside is that you have to buy water (they don't provide water or even cups for drinks you buy). They are very slow with cleaning tables, and prep orders for dine-in. We always wait for at least 35-40 min to get our food. The cashier(maybe manager maybe owner) never smiles, never follows up, so be prepared for it. Will I come back? Definitely for food not the service. At the end of the day, the taste is what matters."
"What a gem! I came here out of the blue and boy am I glad I did. Everything was made extra fresh. I saw them pressing the dough for the bread! The prices extremely fair and service extraordinary. It was pretty busy and I see why! I ordered the tikki chicken / lamb kabob and it was flavorful, tender and huge! My husband had the bhuna chicken and it was stellar. I loved the fresh onion salad served with the meals and the sauces as well. Incredible meal!"
"Tasty Meal via Delivery!I ordered via Uber Eats Today. The "Taverna Platter" my selection(salmon, Lebanese rice, hummus & salad).Delicious fresh tasting ingredients. See Photo. My order arrived timely & well packaged.Supporting local business during Covid-19."
"Super delicious chicken over rice! The chicken is flavorful and juicy stand-alone, and even better with the white sauce, and best of all, the hot sauce. It has a good level of heat (not sweet like others I've had). For $7, I'm super content with my quantity and quality of food! I think it may be my favorite in Baltimore, thus far (and I'm brown)."
"Always fast, friendly and on time. I've never had a bad meal or poor customer service experience. I've also dined inside the restaurant, very clean, larger than I expected, beautiful inside, parking and overall just a great experience in a local community."
"This place has been hidden right under my nose til recently. All the times I've been hungry and around the Bethesda metro station had I just went up the stairs I'd have found the solution. This is a permanent food truck located on top of Bethesda metro station, next to the Hyatt Starbucks. They do have limited hours, between 11am and 3pm Monday thru Friday, but their customer service is what sets them apart. I get out of work at 3, and they encourage people to call ahead and as long as you place the order before 3, you can pick it up and pay for about another half hour to hour while they clean up and close up. The people working are super nice, and the portions are good for the price. I tried the shwarma and the only negative thing I could say is i wish i had a second side of taziki but I know for next time, when I come back for the gyro."
"We enjoyed our visit. There were 4 of us. Our server seemed to struggle with English but was super helpful and kind. The food was good. I love Mediterranean food, so this does in a pinch when I have my Mediterranean food craving."
"A magical takeout spot that exclusively caters to the late night party-goer.I have lived near KERB for over 3 years, constantly walking by it, but never seeing it open. Last weekend, I broke my normal habit of staying in by hitting the outdoor bars until 2am. On my way back, I smelled a wonderful aroma coming from KERB with a group of drunken patrons picking up orders. So, out of curiosity and excitement, I went inside.First thing about KERB are the two people who run the place, both the cashier and chef. These people are a joy to talk to and are experts in conversing with the inebriated. Second thing about KERB is that the menu is tailor made for people of the "non-sober" persuasion. You have a mix of American, Mexican, and Mediterranean food on the menu, only missing pizza for the ultimate drunk menu. You also have weird hybrid dishes that sound like they were conceived by a madman, and were the focus of my trip.I ordered a BBQ Quesadilla, stuffed with BBQ chicken and cheese, dripping with sweet and smokey sauce. But the kicker is the side of Greek Yogurt served along side it, making the entire dish an American Greek take on a Mexican dish. It was fantastic. I also ordered a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich that was piled high with shredded beef, but also had a fried chicken tender nuzzled inside and coated with marinara sauce and spinach, giving this American sandwich some Italian flair.I enjoyed both dishes immensely at home, woke up the next morning as if I came out of a dream, thinking that the food was just a hallucinations brought by one too many drinks. Then I opened my fridge and found the leftovers, which were just as delicious as I remembered. So yes, KERB has some weird hours, typically being opened between 11pm and 2:30am. But if it's late at night, KERB has the delicious junk food to fill your need.I plan on making KERB my go-to late night spot the next time I'm feeling tipsy."
"This is an amazing lunch spot near the hospital!I've been here several times now, and have truly become a fan.Can be relatively crowded during lunch hour especially now that it's a little bit colder and most people are sitting down inside. But given its close proximity to the hospital it's very easy to grab food and bring back to work and still have it be relatively hot. They have combination plates and wraps. You choose your protein, your starch, side dishes, and any finishing toppings/sauces. Personally I get the chicken Shawarma when I'm trying to be healthy, and the chicken schnitzel when I want comfort food. The falafel is very tasty if you prefer vegetarian. The cabbage is too salty at times. The cucumber tomato salad is fresh and tasty. The hummus is great! The baba ganoush is mediocre. The tzatziki is OK, but not as good as traditional Greek tzatziki. The garlic mayo sauce is phenomenal. The only reason I can't justify giving this a five star rating is because some of the side dishes and condiments are just OK."
