"This place has phenomenal offerings. I absolutely enjoyed the bento platter which included bulgogi, katsu, dumpling, fish cake and rice balls. The food came out nice and hot under 15 minutes and the guy was really nice. The helping was pretty generous (had half for lunch and the other for dinner) and it reheated very well. This place is inside of Lexington Market which has been recently renovated so it looks pretty nice. Parking is metered out front and across the street and is usually available throughout the weekday. (Not sure what weekends look like)"
"I've been here a couple times but visited again after a long time and was surprised at how good it was! We got the seafood jaengban chajang (noodles with black bean sauce), champpong (spicy seafood noodles), and pork tangsuyuk (deep fried pork with sweet and sour sauce) and everything was delicious with good portion sizes."

"I got the dolsot bibimbap (without beef) and my friend got the seafood kalguksu. I loved the dolsot bibimbap! They gave the sauce on the side so I was able to add enough to suit my spice level. It was super tasty, and just to my liking. My friend also thought the kalguksu was great. She appreciated the amount they gave and that it wasn't overly salty. The complimentary side dishes and soup were also great! At the end, they delivered our cheques with the robot, and gave us complimentary yakult drink too. The service was great and there was a lot of table seating in the restaurant. I wasn't overly packed or crowded during lunch time, but also had a good amount of customers. The prices were very reasonable as well! Our dishes were both $12.99 each (without tax and tip), and the amount we got was plentiful! I'll definitely be coming back again."
"I haven't found Bulgogi in the area since Hot Mustard closed. This stall caught my eye while my wife grabbed some chicken. I bought the Beef Bulgogi withe steamed rice shredded carrots & cucumber. The meal also came with a cup of soup which I expected to be chicken but turned out to be tofu. The Bulgogi was really good, not soaking in sauce and covered the rice really nice."
"It took me almost an hour and a half finding this little tiny place that was eventually found in the Northeast Market. From my house to this place, it was truly a mission.I drove around, trying to find parking and when I did, it took me forever finding this place. I first went inside the market and looked everywhere, all those signs and looking at the food options in the hot bars and I just couldn't find it... So I stepped outside and asked a few people and they didn't know, so I started walking around the whole area and found myself in an area with at least 3 groups of people that reeked of weed. I finally went back inside the Market after 20 minutes of walking in circles and decided to get a smoothie before trying again. When I ordered a Blueberry smoothie, less sweet for 4 bucks, I decided to ask the people that were making my smoothie if they knew where OK Oriental Food was. They told me it was behind them.... wut.....WHAT?! This whole time I was walking around for half an hour and it was right in front of me?!I went there after getting my smoothie and I can see why I never found them until now, their sign is kinda hidden and hard to see unless you look at it through a certain angle. This food better be worth it...I went to the place and saw a hot bar. More than half of the foods were almost empty. Sad face. :( I told the angry looking Korean woman that this was my first time getting her food and what she would recommend. She told me I could get a starch, 1 meat and 2 veggies as a meal. Fried rice or white rice, Chicken or beef bulgogi and 2 other meats which were almost gone, or different types of kimchi.I got white rice, chicken bulgogi, kimchi and baechu kimchi. It was like 8 bucks and PACKED. It had 1 of my favorite kimchi too. The kind with pickled carrots, spicy paste, and cabbage. The food was delicious. It was raining hard outside and I wore shorts and a t-shirt. The food was hot and made me feel warm. The chicken bulgogi was tender, moist, salty, and flavorful. A great combination with the cool and savory kimchi which went even nicer with the sweet baechu kimchi and to have it washed down by the white rice and blueberry smoothie. It's the only place in the Market that sells Korean food. Definitely a must if you're around the area. And lets say you don't like it? There are like 10 other places to eat inside the same building!"
"A lovely experience all around! This restaurant was open for 3 weeks when we came and I had no idea since the service was fantastic. It has a cool, cozy but elevated ambiance with thoughtful touches. The staff were welcoming and all so friendly. We loved all of the food we ordered and were really impressed with their craft cocktails. My personal fav was the "Carried Away." I knocked one star just because I felt like the food menu items were a bit pricey for the portion, but all of our food was SO delicious. I especially liked the Fried squid appetizer. Definitely recommend checking them out~"
"Really great food and very fast service. We've never had a bad experience. I recommend the Bulgogi and the bowls, love their kimchi too!"
"Good Korean and Chinese style food.I would recommend this place as the waitress and the owner provide very kind service."
"This is so exciting to be the first reviewer! So I just came from an event that was catered by the Chicken Lab. They are officially opening on Dec 17th. I liked this sandwich infinitely more than the famous Ekiben. I got the sweet and spicy fried chicken sandwich and it was incredible! Like 10/10! Reminded me of a much better take on the chick-fila sandwich with the sweet and spicy sriracha sauce. My friend enjoyed her garlic chicken sandwich. They also had kimchi fried rice for the vegetarian folx. Overall, the food was a big hit! Welcome to Federal hill, Chicken lab!! I can't wait to try more of the menu"
"** 7 Year Review Update **This establishment continues to be a neighborhood gem. Convenient parking lot. Most recently, I've been calling in my orders and, my food is always ready when I arrive. I love that the owner continues to employ mature teens who are attentive, and they always get it right. The food quality continues to be amazing. I am looking forward to continuing to support this tasty business."
"Rainpia is a go-to if you're craving Korean food late at night. In Howard County, where everything else seems to close by 7 PM to accommodate families, this place is a much-needed option. The menu is solid, and I usually go for the boiled pork belly--it's tender, flavorful, and pairs perfectly with the banchan. The downside? It's loud. Rainpia is clearly a hotspot for the college crowd, and they bring the energy. Expect lots of laughter, chatter, and a generally rowdy vibe. The seating setup doesn't do much to help--it's tight and awkward, so you're right in the mix whether you like it or not.Still, the late hours and reliably good food make it worth the trip. Just don't come here for a quiet night out--this is more of a lively, eat-and-enjoy kind of spot. Four stars for keeping the pork belly coming when the rest of Howard County is asleep!"
"Fantastic loved the Yumi roll! The service was friendly and polite. I will def comeback. I left my keys thereAnd the waiter came back outside to give them to me. So grateful for this place!"

I am so glad this place opened up. I looove Korean food. I've been here twice now and I get the Koba platter which comes with a lot of different things. I'd highly suggest it. It's super filling and you get decently large portion of bulgogi, rice, and katsu. Ofc I have to get chilsung cider on the side. The people who work here are super nice and it usually takes about 10 mins (pretty quick) and I just eat it in Lexington Market and walk back to work afterwards. Come here you won't regret it

It looks like the chef has either changed or they changed the recipe. Don't get me wrong. The food is always good. My family loves it! But there were some differences I noticed on my last order ( or didn't notice previously). Now they have the gopBae gi size (max portion). We got the jajangmyun and chompbong in the max size. This means a lot more noodles (double) and 50% more sauce and soup. It was great for $3 more. But don't get the spicy versions, unless you are able to take the heat. I like heat but it was a bit more spice than I like. Also the yusanseul bop color was a bit darker than it used to be. It still had the same great flavor though. So overall, can't go wrong with this place!

Great quality food and unique menu items! I saw this restaurant on IG and wanted to try it because they had kong guksu and other Korean snacking dishes (along with classic dishes). The lady who took my order was really friendly and my order was ready in 10 minutes. I got takeout and everything was packaged really nicely. I came by around dinner time and everything seemed clean and orderly. There were customers but it wasn't packed. I had seen kong guksu on social media and it looked sooo good. I tried making it at home but it wasn't very authentic, so I was excited when I saw it on this menu! It comes with a baggy of ice, a couple sides, and salt to add to taste. Don't be like me and accidentally add too much salt lol. The noodles were soft but not soggy. The soup/sauce has a soybean flavor that's pretty neutral, and the texture is sort of grainy. I really liked it with the kimchi to add additional flavor! The mini kimbap ($5.99) were really good! Tastes basically like a regular kimbap but it's a little easier to eat and it's less heavy on the rice. I'd definitely order this next time I come, I bet it'd be really good with tteokbokki. They have a happy hour in the morning it seems, if you want to get a cheap meal for lunch. It'd be great if they had jajangmyeon and were open later.

The area around the JHU medical campus isn't exactly known for its trendy food options, but this unassuming little stall inside the Northeast Market is really a hidden gem! I've been here a couple of times now for lunch and they never disappoint. Generous portions, warm and friendly service, and most importantly the food is homey and tasty. Happy to have found this place.

Guys. I love this place. It's not fancy, it's not gourmet, but if you want cheap, delicious, Korean food, this is your best stand in Northeast Baltimore. Kind owners, buffet style, and you can even get sauces by where you pay (gochujang, etc.!).Make sure to get there early! This is WAY cheaper than those new, fancy, hip food trucks. I love that their selections never change. Because I hate change. Especially when it involves delectable eats and nice people.

Simple menu, great food. Haven't tried everything on the menu yet but the snow onion chicken and the garlic chicken are our go-tos. I think this might be my favorite snow onion chicken I've had (the pickled onions compliments the fried chicken, rice, and white sauce so well). I would recommend getting the sauces on the side, especially if you taking it out to go.

Fabulous place for dinner. Fabulous place for lunch. I've done both many times and it's a wonderful experience. There are many working here so it seems like a well oiled, family run establishment. I've always been treated very well here even though most times I am dining alone and it's not a huge check. Their table side accompaniments are interesting, tasty and free. All of their entrees come exactly as described on the menu. I return often.

"This was my 2nd time eating here. The food was great as usual. JKFC has an hip New York feeling But I do have one complaint and that is the tiny napkins lol this is a fried chicken place so when people eat with their hands you need big napkins not those little cocktail napkins you get at a bar . The service is great they are very patient and explain everything."
"Between you and me, I have a crush on one of the ajummas here - she doesn't know it but it's one of the reasons why I keep coming back. But onto what truly matters in a KBBQ establishment - the meat. Heaven all mighty how I could deceive you all by saying the meat was on a whole 'nother level, but honestly it isn't the best meat I've laid tongue on. Don't get me wrong, the meat isn't bad, but it definitely isn't the gold standard. Where this place truly shines is in its warm atmosphere of food and cheer. This is where you come to hang out with friends over good food and drinks. The servers here add to the boisterous atmosphere along with the blaring non-stop K-pop.Though I have enjoyed many occasions here with friends, it really isn't anything special compared to other Maryland KBBQ locations in Ellicott city and Rockville. However, it is the only place in Maryland that does KBBQ, a necessary pillar of Asian cuisine that needs to be represented.I believe the only thing holding this place back is the quality of meat. If it were higher and shown more attention, this place would be unstoppable. Alas, it still has a place in my heart. Would recommend and will be visiting again."
"So I just ordered from here through Grub Hub. Food came perfectly packed and all was piping hot. I ordered the ox bone soup and the marinated galbi. It came with 3 decent sized sides that were different and not a variation of the same thing. Unlike the popular Korean bbq place that I don't name, I actually got a hefty serving that could have easily fed 2 people and they both be full. My soup was humongous. I definitely got my money's worth. Oh I forgot to mention the most important thing.... Everything was fresh AND delicious. I'm really impressed. This has been marked as a favorite. I will be ordering from here again and hope to visit the actual restaurant when covid numbers go down.Update: The ox bone soup was disgusting. No flavor and no ox bone. Just a sliver of meat. Maybe a forkful. I tried to add salt & seasonings. Bleh. The other soups maybe great but this is not. Unsure what it came up as a popular order."
"What a cute spot and concept! I loved the rice bowls and the amount of food that comes with your order. Their small menu surprisingly has great options to choose from. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying other menu items!"
"Food was absolutely delicious, service, and environment was really great. I'm a firm believer that if the banchan that comes out tastes great, the food will also be just as yummy. We got the LA Kalbi, sundubu, and seafood pancake. I left a very happy diner. The waitress that took care of us was amazing too. Haven't had great service like that in a while. Very attentive and professional. Right when we came in, was greeted, sat down, automatically offered hot boricha (barley tea). Other restaurants we usually would need to ask. I hope others find this spot and give it a try. It was such a great find on a rainy day."
"Continuing with the New Year's binge eating, I was craving Korean fried chicken and tteokbokki (rice cake) with cheese. Thanks YouTube. So after a few minutes of yelping, decided to check out this place in Columbia, MD.This is a quaint little restaurant that serves up good bar food. I was being lazy tonight, so I ordered the boneless soy garlic chicken bites and seafood tteokbokki dish. I really liked the bite sized chicken. Though it was white meat, the dish is still juicy snd very much crunchy and flavorful. Breading was kept at a minimum, therefore every bite was more chicken! On to the tteokbokki dish. As I'm not an expert at what is good or traditional tteokbokki, I can only tell you I really enjoyed this dish! The ingredients consisted of muscles, octopus, and fish cakes. It was like eating the selective sea mixed with chewy rice cakes (love chewy!), stringy melted mozzarella, and a sweet spicy red sauce. It's my trinity of flavor town (savory, sweet, and spicy).Staff were friendly and wore mask and gloves. This is a nice little uppity place for a handful of friends to chat and eat. Nomz. Till next we eat, be safe and healthy fams!"
"Came here because we were shopping at hmart and the soondubu place was closed! I've never had Korean Chinese before. Sizzling rice soup was very thick with cornstarch, veggies, seafood and poured into a giant hot stone pot. The squid was tasty-sweet and spicy. The waitress was super sweet, nice and attentive. We asked to take our leftover kimchi and she brought more for us to bring home!"
"We are so glad we finally came to this place to give a try. Authentic Korean bbq. It's located next-door to Tous Les Jour bakery, there are plenty of parking in the shopping center, but mostly always packed. The interior decorating feels like a big cafeteria, plain and open. Powerful smoke ventilation system. Quality meats, not the cheapest but tasty. Great selection of small plates. They have a specialty fusion dipping sauce, it is green and spicy...so good. You know this place is authentic when you first walk in and all you see are Koreans eating here in large groups. Another way you can tell is from the menu, they offer some of the authentic Korean dishes that are meant for sharing. On top of that, aside of regular selections of Korean soju they also have one of my favorite, which is the sugar-free Jinro. Good service, very attentive and efficient. Remember to treat people how you like to be treated. Highly recommend by @WineDinenVacay"
"In the beginning I was afraid that if I left too good of a review, the place would get overcrowded and I wouldn't be able to eat here as often as I wanted. I know. I'm a selfish prick. But after reading some of the low-star reviews, I felt the need to tip the scale to righteousness. Some people think doing a good review is to be critical as possible, and some do reviews just to complain about something. None of y'all are judges for Top Chef, so quit that shit.Dudes. They have the #1 깍두기 and 김치 in HOCO. Anyone who knows Korean food will tell you, bonchon in Korean food is like salsas in Mexi restaurants: It is a direct correlation to how good the rest of the food are. Their soup is criminal smooth and rich, and they are not cheap to load up on the meat. On a cold winter day, there's nothing better. Well, maybe pho, but that a different genre. I'm just grateful JangSu is nearby to serve this Korean authenticity right."
"A very nice spot either great service. The food was very good and flavorful. It was well kept and clean too"
"If you're looking for great sushi, look no further! Whether you're getting take out to eat on your boat on a hot summer evening or you just had to have sushi after being preggo for what felt like a lifetime, Umai is a solid choice in the heart of south county. In a modest building, the star of this place are the fresh, masterfully prepared ingredients. Their samurai and caterpillar A rolls are some of our favorites and a nice addition to the more traditional rolls in their menu. While we mostly do takeout, you'll leave this casual dining experience with a full belly and a smile on your face. The service is quite fast given the volume of food they push out and the staff is always so positive and happy to see you."
"Cute little family restaurant. Their fish platters are amazing! Fast service and quality food."
"Just so much character and fun! Make sure you call before going or else you may be turned away. We went at 6 and there was nobody else there, and we were treated to first class sass and great service. The food was also really nice, but a little pricey. We ordered the donburi, beef shabu shabu, and chicken pad Thai. All dishes were seasoned well (shabu was slightly too salty) but really complex and nice. Will definitely be back."
"Soju Haus has creative and tasty drinks. We started with creative blends, crab-Apple splash, melona, and strawberry yogurt which ended up being everyone's favorite. For the appetizer, we got the party platter which consisted of waffle fries, mozzarella sticks, Takoyaki, fried dumplings and fried squid. This was a good amount for our group. Brisket and bulgogi were . The bulgogi had a good amount of sweetness. The brisket was tangy and tender with just the right amount of seasoning. It needed to come in a bigger portion. The ambience was great with the Kpop mural on the wall with black pink and bts. If you're in the mood after downing a few drinks, you can sing your heart out with the karaoke rooms. Would absolutely come back again."
"I got the boneless sweet and spicy fried chicken ($25.99). It came with fries and a salad. The chicken was very good - crispy and flavorful. They also gave a 4 complimentary side dishes of kimchi, pickled radish, tofu with a chili sauce, and green beans and cabbage. That was nice to eat while we waited for our chicken to arrive. Our server was friendly and the food came out relatively fast. The kitchen is open until midnight so I can see how it is a very popular spot for college students, which seems to be most of their customers. In terms of the ambiance, it was very casual. There is a bar up front with Korean BBQ plates. They also have there own private parking lot, which is a plus!"
"If you want some spicy pork and bossam this is the place to go, my friends and I were fighting over the food it was so good! There was tons of flavor in every bite! We loved it. As soon as you walk in and walk past the counter someone greeted us and sat us down. The place looks like a Korean tradition restaurant. The restaurant was pretty packed but we came between lunch and dinner time so there was no wait. The server came right over and told us when we are ready to press the button on the table, which we love, it gave us time to decide what we wanted. As soon as we pressed the button someone ran right over to check on us! Highly recommend, even worth traveling too, yes it was that good!"
"Pretty good korean food for a student friendly price! This is my go to place for bibimbap and soondooboo. Its always piping hot, flavorful, and fills you up! The portions are big and sometimes I can't even finish it (i'm a heavy eater). Their lunch buffet is around $12 and they have a good variety of sushi and hot entrees. But I usually stick to the sushi. It's not the greatest, but it hits the spot when im craving some sushi. There are lots of other options but I usually stick to bibimbap or the tofu soup cuz im not brave enough to try other stuff haha maybe next time."
"First time here and impressed. Very clean, fresh ingredients, cooked on the spot to order and delivered to table by a robot. Def coming back and trying everything on the menu if this authentic Korean restaurant"
"YOLO Chicken closed for renovations... never to return again!! It was very sad, but now we have hope! A new KFC spot has taken its place -- the chain known as 92 Chicken. Huge shout out to my friend who told me about it. So I decided to order on an app and have it delivered.... my GOSH that made it so expensive. I got only 20 wings and I don't even want to say how much I spent... but that was my decision so that's besides the point. Anyways, when the food arrived, it was DELICIOUS. We got the Red Hot & Soy Garlic, and both were pleasantly saucy, but didn't overdo it. The crunch was there, and the wings were meaty enough. But the Red Hot was not... hot at all, to me, lol. Something caught my attention, by the way... One of the chicken boxes had the CM Chicken label on it. Are both companies under the same umbrella? Anyways, the at-home experience was fine. But I am eager to go and have this in person next time. Then I can properly compare prices and explore their other options. I do feel like YOLO had more, but let's see..."
"I read the reviews and decided to stop in. It was good. Honestly I've had better cheesesteak and fried rice. The mandu was good as well. With that said I will recommend and go back"
"Fairly authentic food. Closes early so need to get dinner before 6.A little salty. Price is reasonable and staff nice."
"Nice to have an occasional Bi Bim Bap option around here! It's realtively cheap, the food is good quality, and you get a good lunch sized portion of food. The meat was (bulgolgi) was particularly tasty. My only complaints: it's an add on for an egg in a bi bim bap, and it comes fried instead of over-easy. There is something magical about the egg yolk running through a nicely made bi bim bap, but it is to-go from a food truck, so I might be asking too much.Either way, good meal, and I'll be going back if I see them around."
"Love this Korean place, it is located in the food court of H mart in Catonsville. Prices are relatively low compared to Korean restaurants nearby, but portions are huge, and the quality and the taste of the food are similar or better! Our favorites are: dolsot bibimbap and spicy seafood noodle soup. Some of the stir-fry dishes such as pork with green beans are also very tasty. Each order comes with self-served miso soup and some kimchi. The dining area is kind of small and sketchy, and really cold, bring a jacket with you!"
