"I've been to a lot of sushi restaurants all over the country, including some of the most famous places in New York, Philadelphia and Seattle. But Sushi King has been my favorite for many, many years. The wait staff are super friendly, as are the sushi chefs. We're always greeted when we arrive and when we leave. We love sitting at the sushi bar because we enjoy watching the sushi being prepared. They have a great selection of fish and shellfish, and the rolls are outstanding. Everything always is so fresh. Standouts are the sea urchin, tuna belly, giant clam and scallop. If you want something other than sushi, the Yellowtail chin is exceptional. We go to Sushi King as ofter as we can."
"I came by with friends before a concert at Merriweather. We picked the restaurant randomly but I was surprised by the quality from the moment we walked in. The servers are extremely kind and welcoming, and the decor makes you feel like you're in a real sushi house. The sushi was amazing. High quality ingredients, well prepared, and good prices. Some of our group got non-sushi dishes too, and they came with salad and miso soup. The quality was high and again, it seemed like a great deal for the price. I wished I lived closer because this would become a go-to for me!"

"Terrific lunch special. Three of us dropped in for the lunch special. The restaurant is narrow but bright and clean in appearance. Service was fine. All of us went with the lunch special. It came with miso soup, Asian salad and three rolls from a list of 23. (See photo for list) Green tea was extra. Popular at our table were: tuna roll, candy cane roll, crazy volcano roll, spicy tuna roll, shrimp tempura roll, and avocado roll. Pretty inexpensive we all thought."
"It's Hibachi. You know what you're getting into when you go here. You're paying for the experience and less about the food. It is no different than any other Hibachi place. So for that, I got my money's worth even if the food was average. The servers were hands off and I did not notice if anyone got refills at our table. Usually in places like this, the server is all over you. I hear Happy Hours are great here though, so I'm encouraged to try their happy hour some time."
"The nigiri sushi is excellent! The fish is fresh and tender. Other items aren't on the level of the nigiri sushi. The veggie roll is kind of sweet. The spicy tuna roll I guess was pretty good if you like spicy tuna. The seafood udon wasn't that great--soggy noodles and tough seafood. I would definitely return for the nigiri sushi and maybe some of the rolls but would exercise caution with the other dishes. They also have tempura Oreos which are interesting and kind of tasty but greasy, not too surprisingly. Staff is very nice and friendly. They even let us have a free sample of the tempura Oreos!"
"Maaaaaannnnn I've been struggling to find a dope Chinese takeout spot the entire time I've been in Odenton. I finally found some decent ones, after years of terrible experiences and just resigned myself to the fact that I'd have to travel to get my Chinese or eat mediocre. I'm pissed that Grace Garden has been in my neighborhood this entire time. I'm pissed that I overlooked them bc of my experiences with other Chinese restaurants on the Annapolis Road strip and surrounding areas. And I am pissed that I've been depriving myself for so long.Grace Garden serves the style of Chinese that I grew up on. Sticky, spicy General Tso's done RIGHT! We ordered some other things - Singapore noodles. Spring rolls. And fries chicken that was so crunchy that we came to the conclusion that they had to fry it twice. Grace isn't a looker aesthetically but it's not always about the wrapping, but the gift."
"Namani is low key one of the best and most consistent sushi places in Baltimore. This place has a great central location right next to Vino so wine can be had before or after your meal, but Namani also has a great sake and beer selection (not to mention champagne by the bottle so I that's always a win for me)You can sit at the bar and watch you sushi be made or enjoy the Kotatsu tables (and with the traditional seating you will have to take off your shoes). They also have regular tables in the middle of their space. But no matter where you sit you will get great service.I have made my way through most of the sushi menu, trying a new roll every visit and I have never been disappointed. (get the fatty Salmon!!)"
"I was visiting my mom in Maryland, and this is one of her favorite neighborhood spots. The quality has improved since my last visit. Tempura was nicely done. The sushi was fresh, and their was not too much rice. The short ribs were tender and flavorful. And bonus, they have half-price sushi weekday afternoons. A big variety at a great value. Also, the service was fast and courteous."
"We had a great time. We were warmly greeted and quickly seated at the hibachi. The chef was friendly and kept everyone engaged. The food was very tasty. The Steak and Lobster combo was delicious. My steak was slightly overcooked but the lobster was perfectly cooked. The restaurant offers a kids menu aswell as lunch specials. I highly recommend this location for date night, birthday dinner, or casual lunch . It is kid friendly. I would definitely visit again. I highly recommend."
"This restaurant is on the smaller side but in the best way. You are immediately greeted with a warm welcome as you enter, truly feels like home! The service is so fast but they give you plenty of time to look things over, there is no rushed feeling what so ever. The menu is pretty big but I've never disliked a roll here! The garlic roll was so different and delicious! The vegetable fried rice had a Smokey taste which I liked but it was surprising! Overall such a great place to dine or take out!"
"Sushi Sumo is always a great place to dine in or take out for sushi. It's definitely in the rotation of places I visit near me. I love that they have weekly specials that are seriously discounted! The lovey dovey roll was one of them this time. Packed on the inside and outside and filled with a creamy yet Smokey flavor. The hairy Mexican is a staple and never disspoints here.I got a few of the more basic rolls like sweet potato which was deliciously simple. I ordered a crunchy spicy tuna and the description states crunchy flakes on the outside however it wasn't the case this time. A mistake in description didn't take away for the yummy rolls though!"
"**Sake Japanese Steakhouse Review - Glen Burnie**Sake Japanese Steakhouse in Glen Burnie remains one of my favorite restaurants, even after several years. Recently, my family and I had a particularly eventful day and decided to order takeout from Sake. Our order included:- 3 Sake Wings - $15.00- Vegetable Tempura - $6.00- French Fries - $2.50- Baltimore Roll - $4.25- Philadelphia Roll - $3.25- Children's Meal 10.95The food was as delicious as it is when dining in. The Sake Wings were flavorful and perfectly cooked, the Vegetable Tempura was crispy and light, and the sushi rolls were fresh and tasty. Even the French Fries, a non-traditional item for a Japanese steakhouse, were well-executed. I highly recommend Sake Japanese Steakhouse for both dine-in and takeout. It continues to be a reliable choice for great food and excellent service."

10/10 recommend, potentially some of the best sushi I've ever had! Ordered miso soup, salad, california roll, crunch roll, gyoza, and teriyaki chicken. The fish is fresh and you can tell they use quality ingredients that are very flavorful. The service was fantastic, very friendly, prompt, food came out fast and very hot. You wouldn't expect from the outside but the inside is very cute.

Will 100% be coming back! Decided to stop in for lunch after shopping at Columbia Mall nearby, and what an amazing decision that was. This Japanese spot is a little tucked away, but that means it has really nice views of a small lake and lots of sun coming in the large windows, which sets up a nice afternoon vibe. We had the gyoza as an appetizer, multiple rolls, as well as the tempura udon. The sushi was to die for - the salmon roll was fresh and amazing. The udon had great flavor as well and a very healthy amount of noodles. Can't stop thinking about this place and will recommend to anyone and everyone!

If you are in the Hampden area and want some really good sushi, Yama Sushi Bar is the place. Please do not let the strip mall exterior deter you away from this place, the sushi and service is excellent. Their menu is pretty extensive with a great variety to choose from. Also they give complimentary samples of sushi and other treats with each visit which is nice, gives you a chance to try something different to order next time. Definitely will return the next time I am in Hampden

Stopped by Masa for a quick bite before a movie. Located in downtown Silver Spring above the Matchbox, across from Uniqlo. Lovely purple and green theme with some unique art and fixtures on the walls. Wraparound bar in the main area with window booth seating as well. Also a large hibachi table area for parties and events. I've been before and it was great but this was a standout visit food and service wise. Ordered the pork gyoza, a spicy tuna roll, and the lucky 7 roll to split. Easily enough food for 2 people. Best gyoza I've had in forever. Beautiful presentation for both dishes as well. Loved the extra touch. Didn't get hibachi this time but would definitely recommend as the other two times I've come and ordered it was great. Lan our server was phenomenal. Attentive, friendly, gave us great recommendations for drinks and food. Really made an already great experience perfect.

This is how this story goes. We stopped at Kabu Japanese Steakhouse for sushi. We love to sit at the bar and so we did.Hosts were fast, nice, and literally waited behind us for a queue that we were ready to order. My perfect partner in crime took charge and said "I'm ordering our drink". I love that he does that because (you all know, women are from Venus, men are from Mars) and I never know what to pick. Score on the drink! Scorpion Bowl for two was a hit! If you're getting this drink there is a RULE. Every time your "number 2" drinks, you have to also. (I am making this up, but if you do listen to this and apply it, you'll be tipsy in no time; plot twist you'll need another drink and it's ONLY $12! You read that RIGHT!We ordered sushi and it was great! Presentation was excellent, look at our plate! Over all, I'm impressed. Great food, great drinks and very inexpensive. Here is the best part, Happy Hour is in full effect on the weekend! Yell this next sentence; Happy Hour EVERYDAY! I yelled that same sentence in the restaurant, it's amazing right? Balling on a Budget, this is the place to BE! Perfect date night spot for those on a budget and your partner won't even notice! Yelpies thank Him for putting Us on!Definitely worth 5 stars!

"I just added sushi to my personal menu options (I know, I know) I can't believe it either. It's been a slow progression though.I have gotten takeout a few times, and it's fantastic. Now, just because I started enjoying sushi... I haven't dove right in. My fave is a fried sweet potato roll. They are fantastic here, for sure!!I call ahead and orders have been ready when I arrive. Service is super quick. There's no seating on the main level. Parking is easy on the street and you can run in and out. Give it a try!!"
"Things got out of hand...We ate a bunch of dead fish. We liked it. You should eat dead raw fish at this place of business."
"It's a very healthy delicious Chinese restaurant in Baltimore county. Easy parking right outside the place. It's mainly a take out place. However they do have a nice dining area. And a sushi bar. It's BYOB and dining room is pretty boring however i have seen them have big groups and they serjed to have a good fun vibe going on. Food is great. No MSG. And everything super fresh Orange chicken was great - it's all white meat with Judy right amount of batter. Cooked in perfect sauce. I got vegetables soup. Great. Fresh. And sashimi platter. I added octopus salad. It did lack seasoning but i loved it just plain and simple. You get cucumber salad with a piece of avocado before your meal. And that salad - omg was amazing. One of the Best healthy delicious Chinese and Japanese spot in the area"
"You remember that old saying of don't judge a book by its cover....well this is that place you shouldn't judge by the outside. From the outside you may not think they would have amazing sushi, well I am here to tell you it is great!! They have several different rolls you can choose from and they have specials during the week you can look out for. Thursday's are the half off specialty rolls which is a great perk!! They do offer lunch specials that offer a ton of food also! I have ordered to go several times and they will make sure to package your food with care!! I have ordered from here several times and have even ate inside twice. They have seating close by the area the employees that roll the sushi and there is seating on the opposite side as well. They also have some limited outdoor seating as well. I took a star off because sometimes the owners kid is there and is back behind the counter doing things I would think shouldn't be allowed in an establishment. Also during the cold months if you sit on the side furthest from where you order, the have blowing heaters, so if you are cold natured it may be chilly in that section as the heater doesn't blow in all directions. All in all this is a great location. The people behind the counter are pleasant and make sure to take care of you."
"My kids & I love this establishment. The owners are extremely professional and very courteous. They actually know us by our first names and love to strike up a good conversation. Some of our favorites:-Mango Martini-House lo mein (spicy)-Teriyaki steak served with veggies, potatoes and rice-Pan fried gyoza (dumplings)-Wonton soup ( made with real chicken breast)-Fried rice-chicken noodle soupThis is more like a Asian fusion restaurant as they serve Thai, Chinese and Japanese cuisine."
"Still the best place for Chinese food. Large portions, great choices, and delicious food. I love how clean the place is also."
"we've loved siu's since they opened years ago. the food is always delicious, service is quick, and the staff is so kind. the space inside seems small but fits quite a bit with outdoor seating. always a good spot to pop in for yummy food on the go."
"Came here to meet a friend for drinks. We sat a a high top table. We had to ask a staffer to clean the table off. He gave us menus, then we sat for quite some time before someone came to take our orders. We promptly received our drinks. We ordered Prosecco, which came in a mini bottle and the green dragon mixed drink. The green dragon was way too strong for me to drink. I asked for some pineapple juice to cut the liquor. I still wasn't able to finish the drink. I also ordered shrimp pad Thai which was great but need a little more fish sauce. Overall I would definitely recommend the restaurant."
"Customer service - 5 out of 5Wait time - 5 out of 5Atmosphere - 5 out of 5Cleanliness - 5 out of 5Food quality - 4 out of 5We have a special tradition of indulging in a delightful sushi boat the night before embarking on our vacation. However, this year, we deviated from the norm and savored it on the evening after our vacation, coincidentally the night before my son's return to school. As always, the hostess and servers were incredibly pleasant. The restaurant, not overly crowded, ensured that our drinks, appetizers, and entrees arrived promptly. The familiar casual and serene atmosphere embraced us. While most of our sushi rolls were delectable, unfortunately, our beloved favorite roll missed the mark with an off-putting flavor, which was truly disappointing. The server promptly replaced it with a freshly crafted one, but regrettably, it failed to satisfy our taste buds as well. Both the server and the chef tasted the sushi and found it to be normal, despite our disagreement. Consequently, it was graciously removed from our bill. Despite this minor setback, I must admit that our overall dining experience was enjoyable. With a score of 24 out of 25 stars, this restaurant maintains an A rating."
"We started ordering from Sushi Hana because they deliver to our house. We've continued ordering from them because their sushi is so good! What I love about Sushi Hana is the number of vegan/vegetarian rolls they have. We've explored at least a dozen different rolls. Our go to order usually includes the Sweet Potato Tempura, Asparagus Tempura, Bean Curd and Carrot and Ivy Roll. So why not five stars? I've been disappointed by a roll or two here. The biggest is the mushroom. I am a huge fan of mushrooms and had never met a mushroom roll I wasn't a fan of...until Sushi Hana.Sushi Hana offers a number of other options besides sushi. Soup, salad, hibachi, Ramen. We've never tried anything but sushi so I can't vouch for any of the other stuff.Sushi fan? Give this place a try."
"Here grabbing some sushi. It smells so fresh in here. The seafood looks fresh and the staff is always friendly and inviting. Today wanted to try a different type of sushi roll instead of my normal California Roll. The person assisting me to the time to explain all ingredients in what I was ordering. This is my favorite go to spot for sush. The offer hibachi options as well."
"The price is 1000% worth the quantity and quality of the food, especially for a lunch special. I ordered the 3-roll lunch special for delivery and the restaurant was super quick to fulfill the order, and each roll was fantastic. I also got the seaweed salad on the side, and it was larger than I imagined. The tempura ice cream had naturally melted a bit by the time I ate it, but it was the best red bean ice cream I have tried, though the tempura coating was a bit thicker than I anticipated."
"Happy Hour here is on the low. I just happened to pop in after work. Happy hour is from 4-6 pm. Glen was working his magic behind the bar. He was sling out the good drinks and service. I ordered from the happy hour menu which has a pretty good selections of drinks and food. I settled on the kabuto peach drink ( some fruit drink with vodka) and the Pearl River roll ,Baltimore roll and Gyoza. The food came out quick and fresh. This might become my new Friday happy hour spot. You can't go wrong with sushi and drinks."
"Overall Experience, 4/5: This is always a go to spot in the Fulton area. The sushi is always Food/Drink, 4.5/5: They have a lot of special sushi rolls, endless options and there's something for everyone. If you're not feeling sushi, their other dishes are pretty good as well! But known for their sushi, they have very unique specials that you don't see often.Pricing, 4/5: For the price of sushi it wasn't too had. Around $70 for 4 rolls plus tip.Service, 5/5: Checked on us often and gave us time to figure out what we wanted!Aesthetic/Atmosphere, 4/5: Pretty cute restaurant and not too busy."
"BYOB for those that don't know. And the liquor store next door is closed on Sundays, so plan ahead. The food was tasty, the staff was pleasant and accommodating and the atmosphere is relaxed. We got numerous appetizers, sushi and entrees between our party. We had no complaints for anything, it was all good. The only mix up was when I asked for no spicy sauce on a special roll, but it was still inside of the roll. They took back the roll and remade it for me, no problem. If I lived closer, I would definitely come back, but I missed having a glass of plum wine with meal, so I would plan better if I came back for dining in."
"Such a great place. Thank you for the wonderful service, food and evening. The food was amazing and so are the drinks. So many good memories here. Thanks again for hosting our family."
"This place has one heck of an atmosphere!Walls are decorated to make the place look as Japanese as possible. TV was on, playing a Japanese TV network. The restaurant had a visible food preparation area where the sushi chefs enthusiastically did their work. Restaurant did not pinch pennies on the waiters' and chefs' uniforms. The restaurant is on the corner of a row of several adjacent buildings and I liked their use of their window space. Once you open the door, the entrance is well-decorated, too. The podium the host stands behind is oddly situated, but they are making their best use of a small space, so no points taken off.The restroom was clean.I ordered escolar, toro, orata, and chicken katsu. All more than acceptable quality. I did not like the katsu sauce, but I think that's just a personal preference matter. They threw in some extra food- tuna in a circular configuration with some other elements I couldn't figure out- which I guess worked, since I'm here, writing this five-star review!Plates were high-quality, and designed to make the food more presentable."
"Every time we come here (mostly on weekends) it's never packed and I can't understand why! This place is really good probably the best sushi in this area. We always get the edamame, shrimp tempura roll, double spicy roll and rainbow king dragon roll and everything is always so fresh. Underrated!"
"I love this place! The food and the service the atmosphere all great! I've been here a few times for take out but decided to treat myself for dinner. Takeout has always been hot and ready good portion delicious fresh sushi! I love the tempura combo it's my go to order. They have a great sushi menu and hot food as well. Service was fast and friendly! Inside is very nice open clean and I love the lights they have beautiful little crystals on a string hanging down. It's family friendly and romantic and casual. Can't wait to bring my husband for a sushi date!"
"This cute little spot is located in the padonia strip center. Easy parking. Quiet place and you can BYOB or Wine. Sushi is made fresh and always tastes yummy. They have literally every kind of sushi and sashimi. Or ask and they will make it for you. The staff is knowledgeable and a assist if you need anything explained. There is a lot of take out from here. As whenever I'm there people stream in and out picking up orders. They do have a few other menu items available other than sushi. The place is a bit old when you go in and could use an update but don't let that discourage you from trying this place!"
"Looking for a fresh sushi restaurant, with unique options and fair pricing? This is your spot! Whether you're dining in, taking out, or ordering through a delivery app, you can expect the same great taste. Tremendous, friendly service makes your dining experience even better. This is definitely a local favorite!"
"My sister treated me to lunch today and I chose this place. It's close to our job and was convenient. I ordered shrimp with garlic sauce lunch special. Came with an egg roll and fried rice, I asked for steam rice instead. I also ordered crab rangoon. 6 comes with the order with sweet and sour sauce. Everything was good. I wouldn't order the shrimp dish again only because I don't need to. I've tried it. I also prefer larger shrimp. It was giving small shrimp. There are other things on their menu I would try so stay tuned folks. If you'd like"
"The freshest, very creative sushi we've had in a long time. Annapolis has gotten stale, thanks to reviews we tried Oishi recently. We were delighted! Delicious fish, carefully prepared. Service was very attentive and knowledgeable. Looking forward to another Black-Eyed Susie!"
