"The freshest, very creative sushi we've had in a long time. Annapolis has gotten stale, thanks to reviews we tried Oishi recently. We were delighted! Delicious fish, carefully prepared. Service was very attentive and knowledgeable. Looking forward to another Black-Eyed Susie!"
"Great place for groups! They have a great selection for all you can eat sushi. The fish is really fresh and the staff accommodates any requests! We were able to do three rounds of sushi as a group of four. We ordered 40 pieces of shumi, brunt our tongues when they first came out but they are soooo addictive. Best way to end the meal was you multiple bowls of green tea ice cream. This was our second time coming here and the place just keeps getting better!! We will be back with more friends very soon!!"

"Namani is low key one of the best and most consistent sushi places in Baltimore. This place has a great central location right next to Vino so wine can be had before or after your meal, but Namani also has a great sake and beer selection (not to mention champagne by the bottle so I that's always a win for me)You can sit at the bar and watch you sushi be made or enjoy the Kotatsu tables (and with the traditional seating you will have to take off your shoes). They also have regular tables in the middle of their space. But no matter where you sit you will get great service.I have made my way through most of the sushi menu, trying a new roll every visit and I have never been disappointed. (get the fatty Salmon!!)"
"Overall Experience, 4/5: This is always a go to spot in the Fulton area. The sushi is always Food/Drink, 4.5/5: They have a lot of special sushi rolls, endless options and there's something for everyone. If you're not feeling sushi, their other dishes are pretty good as well! But known for their sushi, they have very unique specials that you don't see often.Pricing, 4/5: For the price of sushi it wasn't too had. Around $70 for 4 rolls plus tip.Service, 5/5: Checked on us often and gave us time to figure out what we wanted!Aesthetic/Atmosphere, 4/5: Pretty cute restaurant and not too busy."
"Things got out of hand...We ate a bunch of dead fish. We liked it. You should eat dead raw fish at this place of business."
"We had become a little disappointed with the Chinese restaurant we usually order from and have been trying others in our area. This week we decided to try Passion and think we have found our new Chinese go to. We ordered our usual which is Chicken & Broccoli, Pork Lo Mein, and steamed dumplings. They were all delicious. This is probably the best fried rice I have had and the portion was very generous. I chose to do pick up instead of delivery via GrubHub. It was a Friday night and I was told it would be 30 minutes before the meal was ready. I was out and about and found a place to do a little shopping in the meantime. The restaurant was busy with other people picking up and others trying to dine in. However, my order was ready when I got there and still hot when I got home. Will definitely go back."
"Whether you go hibachi or pull up to the sushi bar, the service is friendly and the atmosphere is great. Sushi rolls are not as robust in terms of size as other places in the area, but presentation and taste is still worth going back for. Has one of the best kani salads - simple but good. Fried tofu is light and tasty."
"I've been coming here for years and I've never had an issue. The staff has always been super kind and quick with preparing orders. I don't have much to say besides the sushi is really good and I always order the chicken bento box. The menu is small so it's not overwhelming and you can order in multiple ways, I always call in my order and they're usually done in 10 minutes since it's all made fresh. As an elite, I recommend this facility."
"Looking for a fresh sushi restaurant, with unique options and fair pricing? This is your spot! Whether you're dining in, taking out, or ordering through a delivery app, you can expect the same great taste. Tremendous, friendly service makes your dining experience even better. This is definitely a local favorite!"
"New spot with very reasonable prices. Will definitely fill up your appetite without breaking your pockets. I've ordered lunch from here several times for literally less than 10 bucks. Also introduced this place to my coworker and she loved it. Very accessible to our workplace and call in or place your order online for pick up since I don't recall any dining in seating. You'll get more bang for your buck ordering a Bento Box. Wasn't a big fan of the chicken since it was a bit tough. So I'll probably get a different type of protein next time. However, I loved their shrimp fried rice. Ask for extra veggies though."
"I really really love this place. The fried rice is a winner every single time. I call in my order, do my shopping at Trader Joe's and pick up my delicious food. The orange tea is quite sweet but amazing. The staff is super friendly. Quiet as kept, I don't even like Thai food but this place hits the mark every time. I highly recommend this place."
"Came here to meet a friend for drinks. We sat a a high top table. We had to ask a staffer to clean the table off. He gave us menus, then we sat for quite some time before someone came to take our orders. We promptly received our drinks. We ordered Prosecco, which came in a mini bottle and the green dragon mixed drink. The green dragon was way too strong for me to drink. I asked for some pineapple juice to cut the liquor. I still wasn't able to finish the drink. I also ordered shrimp pad Thai which was great but need a little more fish sauce. Overall I would definitely recommend the restaurant."

Bottom Line: Excellent sushi! It is long past time for me to provide an updated review for Oishi but I am sticking with my original haiku: Fish dancing in the water Caught Now in my bellySo I live really close to Oishi and when my husband and I want something healthy and special this is our go-to spot. The sushi is always gorgeous, fresh and so tasty. I love starting out with their seaweed salad and from there it is on to nigiri, a roll or both! For those not wanting sushi they do have a kitchen preparing hot food like teriyaki, fried rice and such.My go-to is a Rainbow Roll because it is gorgeous and has a variety of fish. I also really like the sweet and saltiness of Unagi (eel) nigiri. Really, I don't think you can go too wrong when it comes to the rolls, and especially the Special Rolls. They are a feast for the eyes and belly! Most recently my husband and I have been getting carry-out from Oishi. Everything is always nicely packaged and presented.

In a world where most sushi restaurants have written unlimited sushi off the menu, this spot has kept it on and does it better than any I've been to before. The selection of fresh nigiri/shashimi, hand rolls, and specialty rolls is more than enough to satisfy the pallet of any sushi lover and they also feature an entire page of items from their kitchen that range from appetizers, soups/salads, teriyaki, tempura, and dessert so even the non-sushi lovers can find something they'll enjoy. Service is attentive and friendly, plus the price for the AYCE lunch is $29 so it really can't be beat. There's also a cash discount if you've got it so that's an added perk.

Definitely a place to stop by to enjoy some sushi. We had the shrimp tempura, California roll, spicy tuna eel, and the ramen. Atmosphere was great; staff were attentive and very professional. Def looking forward to trying out the entire menu. I drove so I couldn't order from the drink menu. There is quite a selection. My phone died before I could take pictures of the drink menu. Stop by and get your sushi on.

I've been here twice: one time for dinner and another time for lunch. If you want cheap and reasonably priced sushi, this is the place to go. If you're looking for quality sushi, then this isn't the place for you. Today I got the lunch roll special (3 rolls for about $16) and although the price was great for the amount of sushi, the quality was mediocre at best. There also isn't much space inside for customers so it felt cramped. Our waiter today was quick with taking our orders but he talked way too fast even after clarification.Sorry but I won't be back.

Best sushi place in the area, in my opinion! All their food is excellent. Service is outstanding every time we go and we go at least once a month. It's nicely decorated and grear athmosphere. Servers super attentive and friendly!

Good stuff. As the name implies, it's quick...once you order. It did take awhile to order because the ordering process can be slow for some customers.Food was great - had a chicken and rice bowl. A good way to spend some money on a fast meal.

"Stopped in for lunch and the experience was ok. Service was good and they do have COVID safety measures in place. Currently no indoor dining but I was doing takeout so that was not an inconvenience. I've ordered Sarku via food delivery apps a few times from this location and there's been occasions where something was missing from my order which can be a headache. This time around my order was complete and correct (made sure to check before I walked out the store). I'm a fan of the hibachi to go so I'll be back to visit. Overall this location is suitable and since it's closer than the one in the mall it'll get my patronage."
"Covid has really taken away a lot of great dining options, but I think hibachi is the one I miss the most. The socialization, the entertainment, the amazing food the whole experience. This past weekend when I was carving some good ole fashion hibachi, I took to Grubhub and found JiBang! I've driven past JiBang a million times, but never really thought to order for them. Often times, takeout hibachi is not as good as what they serve in the restaurant. The portions are typically smaller and the quality isn't as good. To my surprise, JiBang proved me wrong. This hibachi grill is amazing! The food is delicious! The veggies were crunchy and the meat was cooked to perfection. My only complaint, the rice maybe needed a little soy sauce to add to the flavor. Also, I wasn't really a fan of their yum yum sauce, but luckily, I keep a bottle in my refrigerator."
"Since moving to Catonsville a few years ago, we have not had a lot of luck with finding the perfect Chinese restaurant. One of our favorite dishes is shrimp fried rice and for some reason we have only found one place in Marriottsville that makes it the way we like it. Tonight, I think we found a new place to get food from a little closer to our home. We got an order of gyoza, crispy beef and shrimp fried rice. All dishes were very good and service could be done all online. My husband went to pick it up and everything was ready to go. Very nice staff and everything had a good flavor. We will be trying some more of their dishes soon!"
"This is one of my favorite sushi places in Ellicott City. Finding parking on Main Street can be tricky but there is a big parking lot a block away so I usually park there. They have an outdoor space that is very big with numerous tables. It is right next to the water so it's a nice place to sit."
"Friday night Ramen and hip hop. Twas a great night and what I needed. After being here quite a few times, the ramen stall is most reliable. Everything else has been rather hit or miss, besides the boba tea spot. I've also tried the steamed crab legs (very small), dessert stall was cute. Almost all transactions are via a kiosk so service is limited. The hall is well mapped out with a huge bar (with power outlets!) Once I even came in on a day with live music. This is a welcome food hall to the area/restaurant row. I personally asked the owner/operator of Kong Dog (Korean corn dogs) that's been popping up at malls to consider a space here. PLEASE BRING KONG DOG!!!!!P.s. parking is not an issue outside of the establishment."
"Here grabbing some sushi. It smells so fresh in here. The seafood looks fresh and the staff is always friendly and inviting. Today wanted to try a different type of sushi roll instead of my normal California Roll. The person assisting me to the time to explain all ingredients in what I was ordering. This is my favorite go to spot for sush. The offer hibachi options as well."
"Food and service were both amazing!!! Extremely fresh sushi and reasonably priced. I can't wait to go back."
"I wanted to like Sakura Japanese Restaurant so much because after we rented a car with no trunk our Delaware visit got scrapped so it was the one other place beyond Halloween City that we stopped into. But we didn't know they did an 'all you can eat' special when we dropped in, which was not the type of restaurant we were looking for. We decided to stay and I ordered the usual suspects, an avocado and cucumber roll as well as miso soup. The service was friendly and I enjoyed their decor and that the rolls were served in a boat, but the food was simply okay. Nothing amazing, just average quality ingredients made into average sushi. At the end of the day, I wouldn't make a special trip for Sakura Japanese Restaurant and would likely try another spot first."
"Serendipity led us here. What a find! The food was fantastic and abundant, service was expedient and a great ambiance. Sushi was excellent.Definitely on the return list!"
"Food is always good. The teriyaki shrimp, chicken and beef with rice and noodles is my favorite. Always a pleasant atmosphere inside and food stays hot for when I make it to my destination. The Tokyo Maki sushi is good also."
"The sushi here was definitely good! I would not say that it is the most fresh sushi that I've ever tasted, but it was really good. There were a lot of people here ordering sushi, so it took about 15 minutes after I placed my order to get the sushi. The soy sauce was around on the side of the front of the counter. The area was kind of messy, as you have to pump your own soy sauce into a container. I think I got some type of combo order where I got 4 different rolls and then had the smoke salmon sashimi . It was ALOT of sashimi (more than what I expected). The rolls were very tiny which is why the entire thing only costed $10. But still it was def a lot for $10! I was satisfied. I would come back and get this when I go to the mall."
"Fukuya AYCE options for sushi is good, and service is prompt and friendly. AYCE menu offerings are simple and portioned. Order accordingly, there is a surcharge for food left behind to the tune of $1/per piece. Someone correct me on this if I misunderstood. There seems to be inconsistencies with the rolls. Not all are created made equal the same, so know your orders. Bright open seating at Fukuya, plus tons of parking as it shares space in a shopping center."
"we've loved siu's since they opened years ago. the food is always delicious, service is quick, and the staff is so kind. the space inside seems small but fits quite a bit with outdoor seating. always a good spot to pop in for yummy food on the go."
"Everything was delicious. Fresh and tasty I know fresh because I saw them preparing the fresh veggies. The Sweet and Sour soup is the best I have ever had. Service was so pleasant and quick. We have made this our place to come to for delicious food. Thank you Mae for your fantastic service."
"Sunday, 10/6/24: Per usual, when there's a BWI departure on the agenda, undoubtedly, a trip to Tomo's is included. We ate light this time because we ain't even hungry ATP. I'm tired of driving, tired of crying (happy tears), tired of eating (I've eaten more this weekend than I have all month!) but making memories with my children will NEVER get old! Tomo's is a staple because they have never disappointed us. It's never crowded and our orders are always beautiful and delicious. Our hot saki, steamed gyoza, spicy tuna, Sunshine, salmon avocado and Baltimore rolls were PERFECT. LOL ... doesn't sound like we ate light but, trust me, we most def had leftovers to take home."
"My fav sushi spot in the area. Sushi is always fresh, service is great and they have a great selection. Last week for lunch we tried a new firecracker roll. Wow! They wrap it in aluminum foil and then light it on fire essentially cooking it in front of you. It gives the sushi a unexpected but yummy smoky flavor. We also had the twin tower and spicy girl. And as always they gave us free roll. Yummy!"
"Fantastic loved the Yumi roll! The service was friendly and polite. I will def comeback. I left my keys thereAnd the waiter came back outside to give them to me. So grateful for this place!"
"Customer service - 5 out of 5Wait time - 5 out of 5Atmosphere - 5 out of 5Cleanliness - 5 out of 5Food quality - 4 out of 5We have a special tradition of indulging in a delightful sushi boat the night before embarking on our vacation. However, this year, we deviated from the norm and savored it on the evening after our vacation, coincidentally the night before my son's return to school. As always, the hostess and servers were incredibly pleasant. The restaurant, not overly crowded, ensured that our drinks, appetizers, and entrees arrived promptly. The familiar casual and serene atmosphere embraced us. While most of our sushi rolls were delectable, unfortunately, our beloved favorite roll missed the mark with an off-putting flavor, which was truly disappointing. The server promptly replaced it with a freshly crafted one, but regrettably, it failed to satisfy our taste buds as well. Both the server and the chef tasted the sushi and found it to be normal, despite our disagreement. Consequently, it was graciously removed from our bill. Despite this minor setback, I must admit that our overall dining experience was enjoyable. With a score of 24 out of 25 stars, this restaurant maintains an A rating."
"I visited yesterday. A little slow when it comes to taking orders. I would say patience is needed. Small rice portions and miso soup had no tofu in there. I got the tofu teriyaki it comes on a bed of veggies. Zucchini, mushrooms, carrots, baby corn, and onions. The same for the salmon and chicken teriyaki we ordered. We tried the side salad and it wasn't too bad, dressing they packed with it was nice as well. The establishment has a dine in area, but I expected a little more warmth in there. It seems like the place is definitely geared towards take out and not dining in experience but I'm not surprised bc i find that businesses over here tend to cater to not waiting folks in their businesses for too long. I'm waiting for a true dine in experience here in ward 8, and hoping someone is bold enough to open a true legitimate restaurant experience instead of constant take out spots. This plane also serves sushi, and i hope enough people take advantage. They serve ramen, which i haven't tried but looking at the description I don't know if it's the traditional ramen or not. Their sushi menu is long, a lot of fun looking rolls, the. Your maki rolls. I was hoping they would have more imported drinks but they're selection was limited, they have coke products though. Overall, i really actually enjoyed the texture of the tofu which they do differently quickway up the road. They coat them and fry them, the inside is not extra firm but not silkened, but it is softer. My partner was t a fan of the texture but I actually loved it and will definitely get it again. I'm just happy not to have hair in my food like quickway bc I've found it in my noods and haven't been back sense. The place is clean, but it's also new so I'll update after it's been in business for awhile."
"Great food and great services ... try sunomono live it ... . Bathroom clean , good music makes you relax and have great day ... not to loud"
"We've come here a few times and the food is always decent. Recently, we tried some new rolls, and I may have found a new favorite. The Gina roll was phenomenal. The tuna on top was premium grade sushi and probably the best cut of fish I e had this year. Absolutely amazing. The Lion king roll and the Snow White roll were equally as good. Combo soba was delicious. Tender chunks or beef, chicken and shrimp. I tend to like my soba noodles thinner, but these were still delicious. The service was great, very attentive. She dropped off some free cheesecake after the meal. That was tasty too. All in all, a great meal, great service and we will return."
"The ambiance is lack luster and has changed over the years. But don't let that keep you from coming in and giving them a try. I was immediately greeted when I walked in the building. I ordered the Salmon Tsunami and the Owings Mills Roll with a glass of wine. The came plated together on one platter. The Salmon was raw tossed with a sweet spicy sauce and avocado. Absolutely tasty and has a kick so beware. The Roll was perfectly rolled and held together quite well as it's a two bite type of situation. I enjoyed my lunch and I'll be back soon"
"Absolute best maki I've ever had hands down We came for lunch and got the (2) salmon avocado rolls, (2) salmon maki, and (1) salmon nigiri. I kept thinking we were going to spend way too much on sushi but it was so cheap! The salmon maki was the best maki I've ever had. It was slightly salty which really brought out the flavor. I will 100% come here again next time I'm in Annapolis."
