"Ordered delivery. Everything was pretty tasty but favorites were ayeb and eggplant. Different flavors than some other Ethiopian restaurants."
"This place has been recommended by many friends, and it overall met our expectation. 5 stars on service: the hostess and server were super friendly and attentive. In terms of the food, it was tasty! The hummus appetizer was excellent. For the main meal I got the lamb and my husband the beef. The servings were fairly big (but mostly the rice and vegetables). I did love all the flavor profiles and appreciate that it is Persian food as it is harder to find. Overall I found the food to be delicious, but it seemed just a tad expensive for what it is. The decorations of the place are a bit antiquated with art that doesn't necessarily match the theme (Parisian art?) as well as some strange devices on top of a wall (maybe some sort of drying fan thing) that took away from the eating experience. Overall, I did like the food and would love to return."

"Omg I love this food truck with my whole heart. Chicken over rice is my go-to meal always, and they did not let me down. They heap on the chicken (it's 2 meals for me), the chicken is flavorful, it's freaking cheap for the amount they give you, and it's soooo good. I ask for extra white sauce and red sauce (spicy!) and it's amazing. I'm brown and Muslim, so my halal food opinion matters, too (lol). Definitely would recommend. It's located in the trifecta corner outside of Power Plant (choosing between this place, Poyoteca, and Kabul is incredibly difficult, but I don't think there's a wrong decision to be made)."
"This place in my opinion is a hidden gem. I got introduced to it by my sisters last year and have gone back at least once every month. That spicy chicken Kati roll has me in a choke hold. The perfect amount if spicyness and flavor in every bite. The pictures do not do it justice but two of these rolls will get you filled. It is a ghost kitchen so you have to order online and go and pick it up to eat at home or elsewhere. Service is always on point when I go. Would highly recommend if you ever want a little Indian & Pakistani flavors with Mexican."
"3.5 Stars.I ordered beef pad Thai and spring rolls from here through GrubHub. The food arrived hot and slightly ahead of schedule. The spring rolls were good. Nice and crispy! The pad thai, however, was quite sweet. The beef in it was also tough and a bit overcooked. It tasted okay, but I could only manage to eat a few bites of it because it was just so sweet. I had a question about my order and when I called the restaurant, the staff person was very nice and she quickly and kindly addressed my concern, so points for that as well!"
"I like this place very much! I come here all the time, bc they have great food, and quick service. Their kabobs are flavorful and grilled to order. Their daily specials are amazing too! My favorite is their curry lamb. I like how all the entrees are served with bread, salad and seasoned rice, There is plenty of seating in their bright inviting dining area. That's why I keep going back."
"First time having this, ordered by my office for lunch. Delicious! Large portions and very good quality food. Will definitely return."
"This place is clear not the same i haven't been in 3yrs .I think it's under new management. The place looks nice on the inside but the food is not the same. What restaurant runs out of fries lol"
"The food here is absolutely delicious! It seems very authentic too. It is great to do family style here and it is easy to try a bunch of different dishes. The salads were some of my favorite dishes. The service was great and it is a great spot for lunch or dinner. I brought all my kids here and they liked it so they are pretty kid friendly too."
"After reading all the buzz about Isaac's chicken sandwich, we had to give it a try. And it was 100% worth it!! Inside, you order at the counter and there's a big open space with long tables with plenty of seats. Soon, our orders were ready - in addition to the Isaac Chicken Sandwich, we also got some wings, sides of tomato & cucumber salad, corn salad, mac & cheese, and a bowl of chicken bites. I was impressed with their beverage selection, too. Everything tasted as expected, but the real star was the Isaac Chicken Sandwich. One bite, and I thought, "Yup, now I see why this is the best chicken sandwich in Maryland." You will, too. So stop by Isaac's and try their iconic chicken sandwich. It's the best in Maryland, and it'll probably be the best in the country soon, once word gets out!"
"I came to Zauq Halal Kitchen after seeing all the amazing reviews online. It's on the same road as security mall but further down. The turn is very easy to miss. It's also attached to a smoothie place. They not only have halal stuff, but they also have some American food too. Their zinger chicken sandwich is pretty good and it is very crispy. I always get the loaded fries here. It is delicious and super filling. You can get chicken or lamb but I always stick to lamb when it comes to halal places. They literally drench the fries in all the toppings. It can be a little heavy so be careful if you're planning on order more than 1 item. I recently tried their mixed gyro platter and that was great too! You should definitely check out Zauq Halal Kitchen if you are in area and like halal food."
"I'm going to bump it up since this was served in a cafeteria setting at my work; my office's cafeteria opened up a pop up for various local restaurants to come in and today it was Bethesda Curry Kitchen. I opted for the paneer w spinach, butter chicken, chickpeas and basmati rice lunch for $14. Was it the best curry I've had? Far from. But was it decent? Yes. I mean, everything was precooked to the location and warmed up to serve. The rice was well cooked. The butter chicken was a little overcooked with the cubes of breast meat. The spinach still had quite a few spice pods in the mixture that made for exciting bites! The chickpeas, unfortunately, lacked flavor and was more just spicy. Naan was totally forgettable. So overall, a 3 kicked up since it was precooked for who knows how long and would probably be better freshly made."

Sheba is a little off the beaten path, tucked in the middle of a small strip shopping center with very limited parking. However, if you can navigate your way here, the cuisine and service that awaits is well worth the effort.Featured on the menu are various combos of meats and vegetables, stewed or simmered in aromatic sauces. You can also order many of the combo elements as separate entrees. The Ethiopian iced tea was delicious. It is served unsweetened, leaving that decision up to the customer. Service was rock solid without being obtrusive. Prices were fair given the geography. Note that no lunch specials exist on weekends, apparently. I can imagine the dining room being packed on weekend evenings, but the teeny, shared parking lot would get crowded first and might be a useful guide. We certainly plan to be back.

My husband, sons and I went to a a Muslim Food festival today in Baltimore county and we immediately recognized the Mediterranean Halal Food Cart. This is my husband favorite place to get his gyros and they definitely have the best gyros I've tasted in Baltimore. The completely overstuff the gyros. My eldest son could barely finish his. I had the chicken over rice and only made it through half of the platter. The chicken was so tender and seasoned amazingly. All of the ingredients were fresh and nice and tasty. If you're looking for one of the best gyros in Baltimore, the Mediterranean Halal Food Cart has got you covered!

I wish I knew earlier that Krazi Kebob is still in business via a virtual kitchen! So so happy I found out this week. Got a paneer pi-naan-za and a chicken naan burrito yesterday - both on garlic naan of course! I forgot to add a spicy chutney to my pi-naan-za, but other than that they were both so good!

So so good! Happiest that I finally tried this Thai place. Definitely has been my favorite Thai restaurant so far. We had Drunken Noodles Jae and Spicy Kaprow with Chicken - they were both so delicious! Highly recommend!

We always get the lamb kabobs or the lamb chops and they are delicious and juicy. We also get the spicy spinach appetizer, though I can also recommend the Aushak, eggplant, and Samosas.

Was walking over to try the Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery, when I was struck - Yes; struck by a whiff of something amazing. Grilled meats, spices - the aromas were incredible. I wasn't hungry that day but vowed to come back and so I have been, week after week, for a month now - going on month two. Everything is homemade, fresh ingredients, lots of cilantro, avocado, tomatoes, onions, jalapenos - do not skip anything, pile it high and where the pants with the extra waist bands - for this meal, good portion sizes. What I have tried so far - fragrant spinach, curried potatoes with chickpeas, eggplant/garlic/tomatoes, lamb shank (huge, tender, braised in lamb stock, spices), puffy, hot, chewy pita as big as your face, tender, spiced chicken shawarma wrap, chicken kebobs (loaded with spices, so very flavorful) - additionally, these folks are super nice.I can't wait to come back!

"Our go to halal pizza in the Columbia area. The food and service have been consistent. We usually get the pepperoni and bbq chicken pizza. My kids also love the bbq wings."
"Na'an would have been good all by itself. The gyro meat had a strong hint of curry in it which was unexpected and was competing too much with the gyro flavors. The gulab jamun was so good. Service was good staff was super friendly"
"Wow... small place at the end of a little neighborhood collection of stores and restaurants -- but big on flavor! The veggie kabob was well seasoned. Love the spicy sauce on the side. The veggie platter - the pumpkin (mashed) was really (really) good, as were the other veggies. The salmon is great. And the pitas are some of the best -- warm and tasty! Definitely recommend."
"Super delicious chicken over rice! The chicken is flavorful and juicy stand-alone, and even better with the white sauce, and best of all, the hot sauce. It has a good level of heat (not sweet like others I've had). For $7, I'm super content with my quantity and quality of food! I think it may be my favorite in Baltimore, thus far (and I'm brown)."
"Ummm soooo I'm not sure what's going on here with these recent reviews but it made me think what would I do if I ever receive the kind of service or nasty food from them??? I look forward to my medium shrimp pizza, kabob platter, wings, and spinach pizza. I always have it delivered and most of the time my food arrives nice and hot. I have experienced the cold pizza before but it was still delicious once reheated in the oven real quick! I stick with what they "specialize in"."
"First, but not last, visit to Punjab Kabab! A little hole in the wall on the Main Street in Arbutus. Dining area is sparse but clean. Can smell the spice while they cook which makes it hard to wait for the food - smells so good. The chicken tikka masala with basmati rice was delicious. The chicken was tender and spicy. The sauce was also tasty and was also spicy but not overwhelming. The palak paneer was also flavorful. Spicy with a little kick but you can taste cinnamon too. Couldn't eat the entire dish but I did try. Large portion of Nan, which was light and fluffy."
"Shareef's never fails me. In Baltimore on business, I looked up some of my local favs on Yelp and was reminded how close I was to Shareef's Grill. Excited, I instantly darted that way. Today, I got the Salmon wrap, and the Crab & Shrimp wrap. Both were delicious, I am more of a fan of the Salmon wrap, but man oh man, the star of the show were the rotisserie wings. These are BY FAR the best rotisserie chicken I've ever had and who knew?! I've been to Shareef's multiple times over the years and I'm disappointed in myself that it took this long. That'll never happen again, and the space and time that I take in between trips to Shareef's needs to narrow bc I've gotta have more. The facility is nothing to write home about, and the parking is atrocious. The service is nothing spectacular but it's not bad service either. It's just a bunch of individuals, in the middle of a lunch rush, pumping out delicious food. If you're mad at that I don't know what to tell you."
"Tasty, inexpensive. Big portions, well-flavored, fresh flavors. And the big win- late hours! In the 'burbs where almost everything closes early even on weekends- having hot food late, that's NOT fast food, is huge. Even the bars close their kitchens early since the pandemic, so this place really stands out. After a half-dozen visits, I see the same faces regularly- nice staff. Despite some fumbling confused customers and occasional long lines, they're all still in a pleasant mood. Unexpected.Stick to the basics here, and (the big tip) get more than one sauce to amp up the flavor. It's about 2x the meat other places serve in a single gyro.It can be busy, and between big orders and people not ready to order, the ordering line can slow down. Consider ordering ahead.Other thoughts: this is a franchised concept, I haven't been to any other locations to compare. It's in the renovated Normandy shopping center which is now full of local & "ethnic" eateries. Lots of parking. Some outdoor seating. Clean interior with several 4-top tables.I think some reviewers might be expecting too much for an inexpensive casual counter service (and/or don't understand that "halal" is not the cuisine lol). And yes, the meat is cut from a rotisserie-style formed slab (same as gyros & schwarmas and al-pastors and so forth all over the world). It's cubed but that makes for a consistent & easy product. It's GOOD but it needs the sauce and seasoning to make it complete. And then it's wonderful.I'm probably too picky and experienced well beyond the point of jaded. And I really couldn't ask for more for $10, made hot & fresh at all hours. Happy to see them busy and hopefully they stay busy enough to stick around because there's literally nothing else like this anywhere nearby.Highly Recommended."
"My boyfriend brought me here on a holiday because they were 1) open and 2) open late. I was thrown off by the fusion especially when I read the menu. I got the beef bulgogi bowl with all the Korean-style toppings including an egg. It's kind of like a fast casual bibimbap but you can make it Mexican-style if you like. The portions were good and the flavor of everything was tasty. Not bad."
"Back when I lived in the Woodlawn/Baltimore area, I had a lot of friends who ate Halal, and they put me on the food at Legends. The food tastes great, doesn't cost a lot, and service is relatively fast!Definitely top 3 best gyro platters I've had in my life, the combo (chicken + lamb) is my favorite option with a good amount of white sauce, and a bit of spicy. Their other options are nice as well: the Chicken Sandwich is really delicious, nicely fried so it's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the cheese steak is alright in my opinion. They also have a College Park location which I definitely wish was around when I was attending university! Legends is definitely up there with some of the best Halal gyro spots in the DMV, no doubt."
"Stopped by this place on a rainy Thursday night. The place was empty but looked so welcoming and bright. I think it's a family owned business. Everyone I encountered was super friendly. The restaurant is very spacious with plenty seating, both booth and table options. They serve peri peri chicken, lamb, and vegetarian rice bowls, wraps and platter. I for some reason opted for a beef burger and it did not disappoint. I'm typically a medium rare person on my burger but since you don't get an option the well done burger I received was flavorful and not dry!! The burger was topped with onion, tomato, lettuce, sweet pickle and perimayo. I decided to wash my sandwich down with one of their delicious mocktail options, Peach mojito. The mojito was nice and refreshing without a mint overkill. I highly recommend this place for friendly service, spacious environment and well prepared food. I hope to see this place packed the next time I stop in."
"King kabob is located in the security mall food court. It's right in the middle of where checkers and sarku japan are. The food is really good. I've only ever got lamb and chicken on rice and nothing else here so I'm not sure how the other food it. The lamb is the part though. The chicken is good but the lamb is so tender and flavorful compared to it. They give you any meat you want or a mix if you prefer and they put it on top of rice, a salad on the side and drench the whole thing in their amazing white sauce. If I have to be a little critical, I would say the rice needs to be better. I don't think it's very good here but for like $7-9 you do get a lot of food so I don't think it's that big a deal. You should definitely stop by if you are in the area or just shopping at the mall. One of the better food places in the mall."
"Social media can be a dangerous place. At times, it's filled with violence, lies, and all things negative. And then there are those times when social media serves its purpose. This is one of those times. When I first saw someone post bout this place, the best way to describe what I saw is to simply call it "mouth watering." Halal BBQ? Don't mind if I do!Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by the gentleman behind the register. He helped point out some staple items on the menu. The inside was clean for the most part. There is seating even though it isn't huge inside. I got the chicken quesadilla and the BBQ Beef Ribs. The ribs came with onion fries and corn bread. The corn bread was good and had syrup drizzled over it. The Ribs...the RIBS!! The ribs were so tender you could cut it with a spoon. Definitely on point. The sauce was more sweet and less tangy. Didn't matter to me. The quesadilla was good as well. Nothing overly great about it but definitely good enough to order again.I'll be back to explore more of the menu."
"I was between a 3 and 4, but rounded down for their lack of availability of food during my last order. The food is 4-star to me. Flavor is usually good, cooked well, and food hits the spot. Definitely a solid go-to for takeout in the area. Their honey old bay fries are delish!!Last time we placed an order though, they were out of basically everything we wanted to order. They only had the standard platters and wraps left - and while it was a weekend, it was not late in the evening (which I would totally understand). And if it was just a couple things, that wouldn't have mattered either, but we tried for 4 different dishes, and they didn't have any. I would certainly go back, just be open minded if you already had what you wanted in mind!"
"The food was fantastic. Possibly the best palak paneer my wife and I have ever had. The owners/staff were very friendly and made sure that we enjoyed everything. We capped the meal with extremely satisfying authentically made tea, which was definitely worth the wait. We'll definitely come back next time we're in town. (Also the most generous serving of mango lassi we've ever gotten!)"
"I went again and got the goat curry special and the Seekh kabob. It was delicious! The Seekh is very springy and well seasoned, which to me is an indicator of a good Seekh kabob. The goat curry was a very solid portion, with plenty of meat. It was also well seasoned and the flavors were on point. This is my new favorite spot in MoCo. My only complaint is that the way my food was packaged was not very well thought out lol. The goat curry was sitting atop of the kabob box in the bag. It spilled out a bunch of oil into the bag and subsequently my car. My only word of advice for the owners is to use a separate container to the curries, as they spill out of the side too easily in these containers. Services is still great as the person who took my order was very nice, repeated everything back to me and confirmed my totals."
"I ordered a chicken meal that came with 25pieces of chicken, French fries and Cole slaw, and to my surprise some rolls/bread. The chicken and French fries were really good. Not sure about the Cole slaw because I don't eat it, but there was none left, so that's a good sign. The only downside was that it only came with 4 rolls/pieces of bread. I felt like it should have been more. However, other than that everyone enjoyed the food and had great things to say about the chicken."
"We tried this place pretty recently on a whim, and it was such a great find! For the price, you get a ton of food, and the food itself is delicious. Definitely worth stopping in for a quick bite if you're in the area!"
"Food is okay. Nothing special. Place is really big and open. They have a place for small party or event. Place isn't very clean. I was very disappointed about that. Plenty of free parking. Waiter and staffs are very nice and friendly."
"Its been awhile since I did a review but this place has brought me back. So here we go. Welcome back to me. I have never ordered from a jamaican cuisine place before. So when my boss offered I said sure I'll try it. And once o got it the bread stuck out to me. I cut it in half and it looked okay for a sandwich. But the taste was amazing the bread pepper jerk chicken mix was worth it. I dont regret this at all. And as far as price goes you cant go wrong. And yes it is actually filling. I will be getting this again. Worth the money."
"I'm trying to think of any reason not to give this place five stars, and nothing comes to mind! For $12 (mixed lamb & chicken platter), you get a TON of food! It was probably enough for two meals, but I didn't realize that going in. For only $1.75 (regular) or $2.25, you can add on a fountain soda to complete the meal. They have extras, like pita and baklava, but no way did I have any room to try those. I didn't finish the platter as it is, let alone any extras. But, it wasn't just a matter of sheer quantity. The quality was good, too. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the lamb was tasty and meaty. There's plenty of rice and enough salad to make it interesting. The white sauce, basically a tzatziki, was a perfect topping to the whole dish. The service was friendly and fast, and the dude who made my order was awesome! It's in the food court in the mall, so the scenery is what it is. But, you can't really fault them. Their own décor is pretty modern and clean-looking.Overall, it's a great new addition to the food options here at the mall. I'm glad we have it among the other stalls. And this one is at least not another meat + sides place (lookin' at you, Flamin Cajun...)."
"A convenience store that also makes surprisingly great halal food. They make it to-order so you can call ahead with your order if you dislike waiting.Despite the name, the absolute best thing about this place is not the fried chicken (which is great and crispy crunchy, just as promised) but the lamb over rice. For $10, you get delicious halal cart-style spiced minced lamb cooked with green bell peppers and onions over basmati rice with white yogurt sauce and spicy red sauce, along with a side of crisp lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers. 1 box contains a generous serving, enough for 2 meals. They also have chicken over rice, but I have not tried it yet.Definitely my new favorite place for halal food -- photos can't capture how delicious it is!"
"I stumbled across this place. I ordered the wings and fries combo. Excellent wigs! Food was hot. Give them a try!"
