"The food was delicious. I got the Todd -the sandwich was huge, I ended up sharing half with my husband. Nikki is great and so much fun. Will definitely be getting food from this truck again."
"Great service & fantastic crabs!! Crabs were fulland meat was so sweet! Extra seasonings were given without me even having to ask for them (although it was seasoned so well we didn't need them!) I would HIGHLY recommend this to be your go-to for steamed crabs!"

"I am not a barbecue expert, but I love food. With that said, this food is delicious, there is no doubt in my mind about that. My dad and I each got the meat sampler for $20 a piece. That price seems steep, but I am happy to say that even with a huge appetite i still ended up having enough leftovers for almost a whole second meal. Also, I can't tell you the last time I saw a cheap food truck, and this value for how much food one gets is the best I have experienced from a food truck. Speaking of best, the chicken wings and ribs are the best that I have ever had. The chicken wings and ribs are the best I have ever had. I repeated myself for emphasis. I am well-versed in wings, and a testament to the great flavor of these wings is that they do not need any sauce. In fact, neither do the ribs, nor does the brisket, nor do the burnt ends. I have not tried the side dishes yet, so I cannot make a judgment about them. I hold back from giving 5 stars because of a few "new business growing pains", if you will:1) Me and my dad got a can of coke which was unrefrigerated. 2) The order fulfillment was a little slow3) The payment system was a little crude4) plastic utensils and napkins at the truck were flimsy, more akin to a Chinese takeout than a barbecue truckThese points are nit-picky, especially the utensil note, since almost every main menu item is meant to be eaten with your hands, but still things to take into consideration. The food alone gets 5/5, but the holistic experience is not quite there yet. That being said, I am very excited to follow this business as it continues to grow and develop. From my understanding it's only been a few months that the truck has been in business, so this is just the beginning. I will be going back. Writing this review made me really hungry."
"I pretty much have had everything from this food truck but my overall favorite is the love bowl. You get fries topped with a homemade cheese sauce and bbq sauce. Then topped with your choice of brisket, pulled pork, or chicken... so good! I also love their smoked sausages *chefs kiss ! I haven't had any issues with service either; The employees are very friendly."
"We got the burrito al pastor and steak quesadillas! They were both phenomenal. My husband even said that he wanted to start coming here instead of Chipotle. Big fan of the salsas that came with our order as well"
"I'd try it again. The Carnitas looked good but was not done yet. They also grill shrimp. I had 4 tacos. The best was the pastor which was more like ground chorizo. I also had chorizo which was sliced sausage. Chicken was okay. Carne asada was chewy and bland. They oil and warm the corn tortillas on the grill (they're kinda greasy) and served it with a big cooked jalapeño, a couple cooked onion slices and a container of green salsa. I think a carnitas burrito would be the call here. Next time."
"Hot fresh and delicious this was a gem to find outside the Sam's club, it was probably the best Mexican food I ate in a long time. It was so fresh and good . I WILL MOST DEFINITELY, be coming back. Yummy yummy yummy"
"Deliciousness!!!! I customized a classic double- No lettuce or tomato and add onions sooo yummy! The burger sauce is top notch! True smash burgers not just a thinner patty. They definitely have it figured out. The fries were great as well. Burgers are freshly made so there is a small wait for the yummy-ness!! The team is friendly and the prices are fair. For sure a must try!!"
"my parents live in the germantown / rockville area so I occasionally am in town. drove by this place a couple times my last trip out and really wanted to try it, but had to convince my elderly parents that food from a truck is a perfectly reasonable way to ingest seafood. was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and value. pricing is very reasonable. had a little of everything - ordered 2 lbs of shrimp, 1 lb of crab, fried clams, and some crab cakes. everything was fantastic, especially when considering the value and convenience.the crab cakes had some filler, so i could do without that, and i've never been a huge fan of fried clams (too much breading), but i had to get those for the rest of my family, including my brother who loves fried clams. i really enjoyed both the crabs and especially the shrimp. man, the shrimp was juicy, tender, and flavorful. i wish i lived in the area so i could frequent this establishment on the regular. i'm hoping my parents will return in my absence to support the truck. i also nerded out with my guy at the truck over kimetsu no yaiba, so that's just extra credit. great food, great staff, great value."
"Lamb shawarma was amazing! Food was cooked fresh while I waited. They take credit cards. Great service!"
"I'm visiting Baltimore and decided to order in and this was the best choice.. food was beyond delicious! Came fresh, food was seasoned to perfection, good portions.. kisses to the cook ! Will definitely eat here again when I'm in town"
"This food truck is located in a gravel parking lot just before sonic on Liberty road. The food is easily good enough to be served in a sit down restaurant. I ordered the #18 and found the chicken moist and flavorful. This is my second visit and I ordered the same thing previously. I would def recommend this spot for a yummy lunch option at a reasonable price."

We just had a couple sandwiches from Madame BBQ while leaving Jailbreak brewery in savage. Man was it good. I'm sure her menus changes, but we had the dirty Dianne (pulled pork, chorizo, bacon and purple slaw) and Nikki (pulled pork, kielbasa, bacon and slaw). The pulled pork was juicy, which was so good it did not need bbq sauce. The bbq sauce was good anyway. Just try it for yourself. You will not be disappointed. No more mission bbq or anything else.

Wife was craving some crabs so we drove down to Mobi Crabs down by Security Blvd. Now something I've come to learn in my many years from living in this world... the best crabs come from the back of a truck... Mobi Crabs is no different. Best crabs and shrimps I've had in a long time. So juicy and delicious. But that's not all they have. My wife considers herself to be a chicken wing connoisseur and she found their chicken wings delightful and different. It was a bit sweet and savory. Their crab and shrimp egg rolls had a bit of noodles in it and was absolutely delightful. The worst part of the ordeal though was that the food smelled totally delicious and I had to drive almost an hour home before I can jam it all in my food hole. Which I did as soon as I got home.... after I took pics for the insta... I also gotta add that the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They packed everything well and had no spillage on my drive home. I definitely will be making this my main go to for crabs and shrimps...

Tried the mobil catering at an event in Baltimore city. I got the meal sampler it was not bad. They were out of brisket but had pulled pork and bbq chicken legs. The guys said they were out of the brisket. I said ok.They told me they had their own bbq sauce and use a pellet smoker to smoke the meat. The portion size was good but I did not get that deep wood smoke flavor. I can't tell what wood they used but it was mild. No overall wood smoke flavor. The bbq sauce was also one none. I have had better. In terms of a style of bbq maybe Memphis style at most. All in all one note nothing to see here. Let down with flavor. I'm more traditional wood not pellet bbq so I'm going to say it's. Just average at best

I think this is a solid food truck. I'm between 3.5 and 4 stars. So I'm going to be nice and round up. Their chicken and veggie burrito was a bit bland. The Al pastor is truly delicious though. So really the four stars is for the Al pastor. The seasoning was perfect. It is 4 tacos for 11$ this is pricey by California standards we usually do 1.50/taco but I understand it's Baltimore so I won't judge too much. Solid option for a food truck.

We typically go to the other taco truck up the street but wanted to try El Tucan because it it a closer drive to us. I'm sooooo glad we did!! I ordered the Chicken Quesadilla and my bf ordered the Chicken Burrito. Both were amazing and hit the spot. The green sauce is the best we've had out of ever where. Not spicy but incredible!!

I cannot say enough good things about AZTK!!! I recently hired them to come for a private event at my home in Annapolis to serve 25 people and save me a lot of time and effort. They met with me in advance to create the menu for the day, allowed me to try out a few things and then we set the time. They confirmed a few days in advance to make sure no changes and were amazing! They showed up right on time. Stayed the proper duration and served everyone at the party so kindly and did special orders for Keto diets and vegans as well. The staff was amazing and the owner was such a pleasure to work with for this special family party I hosted. I haven't mentioned it but the food was DELICIOUS and perfect!! I loved the authentic Taste and spices in the tacos and the flautas and bowls were awesome! The green hot sauce was fire I asked for extra green sauce just to have at my house! Overall the best! Will def use them again for parties and will frequent their truck locations often! Thanks for an amazing service and the best food around!

This truck came to the Crofton Farmer's market for the first time in early July. I was excited to try their food because I've heard good things. This particular morning, they were offering a breakfast burger special: smash patty with bacon, egg, cheese, onions, jalapeños, and cilantro lime sauce. Their regular menu sells two different burgers: The Classic Double (lettuce, tomato, burger sauce) and The Retro Double (pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard). I opted for the retro double. The burger was good. It had a nice crust on the outside. There was enough ketchup and mustard on the burger to taste, but not so much that it's dripping off the sides when you bite into it. The fries were good. I wish they offered a bigger cup of them since they're almost $4.Burgers are $9.79, fries are $3.95, and drinks are $2.00. They also have merchandise like t-shirts, hats, and hoodies for sale. The employee that took my order was really friendly. I hope they make a return to the Crofton Farmer's market! I would definitely get burgers from them again.

"Very busy small shop, but we were able to sit at the bar. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, you can tell people love this place. Cheese steak was sooo good and the fries reminded me of boardwalk fries. The pizza was good but we felt that it could have been cooked more, came out slightly doughy. I imagine this would be a good place to hang out in the summer, garage door up with a beer. Not bad at all."
"Jerk at Nite was a lovely experience in the city.To set the scene, it's on a corner unit on the H street block, and there's a to-go station that is outdoors.Parking was decent, I parked in the neighborhood and my friend found parking across the street. There is not really a fleshed out waiting area, so considering the busy nature of the restaurant, you're going to be a bit awkward, either waiting in your car, waiting in the cold, or standing up in the limited space in the restaurant. Our server was quick to share her perspectives on the dishes we inquired about, and showed pride in how jerk at nite differentiated themselves from other food spots. Now, to the meat and potatoes (pun intended)Me and a friend both got the tropical punch, along with a water. The tropical punch had a layered taste to it- you could definitely taste the passion fruit, mango and more. For both my friend and I, we agreed it was a little watery. It felt like either the result of a syrup based drink, or, a jungle juice type drink where there's ice in the jug, and it melts over time. I didn't think it was too big of a deal, as the degree of watery-ness didn't ruin it. 5/10The Mac & Cheese is an extremely affordable appetizer for the size of dish that you receive. There were 5 people in our party, and we were easily able to split two dishes of the Mac & cheese at $13 a piece. It was extremely seasoned (in a good way), and it didn't have a nasty consistency about it, which is my complaint with a lot of Mac & cheese's. 10/10.The jerk chicken pasta was seasoned TO THE GODS. The sauce was prevalent, but not overwhelming, and the cheese was a nice touch. There even was a kick of spice to each bite. 8/10.I didn't order the tacos, however, the tortilla has a nice char on it, which I appreciate. It didn't fall apart with each bite, and there were enough ingredients within each taco that you're getting a combination of flavors with each bite.Be careful- there was a 18% gratuity included automatically on our check, and our server didn't go out of her way to point it out. One of our friends ended up paying $10 extra, on top of the service charge. That and the tropical punch was the only reason I give Jerk at Nite on H street: 4/5 Stars."
"I was on my way to Northeast Market, when I saw Halal Brothers setting up shop on McElderly, across the street from Hopkins. This place was on my radar when I was yelping good places to eat around campus. I ordered what the guy suggested, which is the lemon rice with a mix of chicken and gyro (lamb). You get a base layer of rice, accompanied with chicken and lamb, white sauce, hot sauce, and a sprinkling of lettuce on the side in a styrofoam box. If you cannot tolerate the hot sauce, ask only for a little bit, because a little goes a long way. It was a delicious lunch. My intention was to save half for dinner because I got full halfway through, but it was so good that I ate the entire thing in one sitting. Total regret as I entered a state of food coma for my afternoon class, but I'm glad that I got to try the Halal Brothers. Great for a quick, easy, delicious lunch (and dinner if you have leftovers) for $5.99. I'm glad I got to try Halal Brothers' food."
"I prefer the food truck to the brick and mortar in Laurel. Customer service is very, very different in both locations. Will not drive to laurel, would rather wait for Saturday food truck"
"The best soup I ever had in Baltimore city ,very tasty and affordable price ! Three big pcs of beef rib in the soup with mix vegetables, what a super lunch I have today! The soup also come with a medium size bowl of rice too ! I will be back soon ! Thanks they are busy for carry out , but they do have the seat in ,They also carry light alcohol"
"I have mixed feelings about my experience. Felt like low personnel, so will test again.I ordered and rated the following:Cucumber lemonade: 10/10 get itMixed: 7/10 SUPER sweet, cut at home with waterFries: 8/10 seasoned well, good with bully sauceOnion rings: 8/10 a tad bit too much breading, but goodJerk burger: 5/10 the sauce was good, but burger was over cooked. Missing the extra cheese, lettuce and medium egg I asked forCustomer service was very good but slow/misleading. Walked in, was greeted and welcomed, also told my order was being bagged. However took 15 more minutes. I think I caught them on off day so will be giving another chance with more photos."
"My husband and I luckily stumbled across this food truck on the hunt for food for his birthday. We went to TasteMakers first, but most of their restaurants were closed and as we were leaving, we spotted Petit Afrik, a West African food truck. We decided to get one thing to split and tried the Bakassi Steak Sandwich and OMG! It was Phenomenal!!! Definitely a unique sandwich and very flavorful. And they make their own bread which was also equally delicious. Couple the sandwich with the pineapple hibiscus drink and we were thoroughly pleased. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back again. You can find them on Facebook and IG @petitafrikdc. Give them a call to see where their food truck will be that day. We caught them right across the street from Right Proper Brewing Company in Brookland, but they also said they frequent H Street, Howard University and a few other places. I loved seeing these 2 young African men pursue their dreams while also serving delicious meals. We'll definitely be back soon! It's worth the trip!"
"Quality seafood options. Reasonable price. Corn was so so. Crab cakes were delicious but too salty."
"I'm going to keep this simple. I can only speak to the wings but they were the best turkey wings I've ever had. I don't know why it has only 3 1/2 stars because everybody that was in line raved about it too. I had two different flavors - honey chili and old bay-something. It was clearly homemade -- the honey tasted like it came out of my honey jar. It was amazing. Messy though so keep that in mind. Maybe get a dry rub or try a sandwich if you have to eat it in the park :-)"
"It used to be a Pizza Hut location, so there was a lot of familiarity with the location. However, the food was really great! I like that the portion sizes are very generous too. There was quite a long wait, but as long as the food is good and made fresh, so I definitely didn't mind. I was here on a Sunday, and it seemed very family friendly for everyone to be comfortably served. It's also easily wheelchair accessible. Just has a slow paced home like feel to it, which is great."
"This place was great! So I went to the little chain they have in christmas village, and it was great! It looked nice and cute with little decor lights, and the workers gave me the food very fast.I asked for the maple bacon skewer and the bacon skewer, and the maple bacon was ok, but it was a bit too sweet. The normal one makes up for it tho.It tasted wonderful! It tasted like bacon cooked from a professional bbq!"
"This truck is outside my job every Tuesday. I always saw my coworkers getting food and I never went but today I decided to stop. I got a crab cake with Mac and cheese and the buffet and with that I got gumbo, greens and Mac and cheese. The food was delicious to me. The greens are cooked with turkey and seasoned just right. The customer service is amazing. They give out samples and have wonderful smiles. I will be back next week to try the jerk chicken and red deans and rice."
"The scenery and coffee and friendliness of the staff is top notch ! One of the smoothest coffee I've had!"
"Great little food cart. When I went for lunch around 12, there was a line of about 4 or 5 people in front of me, however they were very quick and efficient, so I only had to wait around for about 5 minutes tops.I got the mix (chicken and lamb) over rice with extra white sauce and light red sauce, which was delicious. As most of the reviews already state, you get lots of food for the price, and the red sauce is very spicy. Definitely recommend!"
"We were looking for something to eat fast to take back home while out running errands in Catonsville. We're not familiar with the area, but found this food truck through Google. We were pleased to find there were no customers on a Saturday afternoon around 12:30 so we ordered and were given our sandwiches with barely any wait time. The sandwiches are incredible. I ordered the Brisket and it's excellent. Moist, flavorful, smoky, and the sandwich was pretty large. I was expecting a smaller sandwich since it's what I've experienced from other food trucks in the past. The sauces were OK, we got sweet and hot to try, they were nothing to write home about. I'm knocking a star off for the Cole Slaw. I agree with another Yelper, the portions are very small. I think for the price, they should be larger. I wish it wasn't almost, sweet tasting, and could have used salt. Maybe it's just a different style of cole slaw than what I'm used to? I just wasn't impressed? Will I return? Oh absolutely. The quality of meat in our sandwiches alone, AND for a reasonable price, is enough to keep coming back. I recommend if you're in the mood for a smoked BBQ sandwich!"
"I stumbled across Hardy's on Yelp after searching for halal food in Bethesda. Halal BBQ? I didn't believe it so I sent the owner (Corrie) a message and he confirmed the chicken wings and beef is halal. The food truck is available in Bethesda on Saturdays between 11:30am - 2:00pm and is weather permitting. We missed our opportunity last week but today we struck gold. My wife (who only eats halal) and I ventured downtown and ordered enough food to feed a small army. We tried the beef brisket sandwich, pastrami sandwich, half chicken, chicken wings, potato salad, and slaw. When ordering we were told some really helpful instructions on how to heat the food up when we got home. Basically if you aren't eating at the truck they want to make sure you get the best experience when you get home. After getting home we indulged in some of the best BBQ I've ever had. The level of smokiness on the meats is something you only hear about on Food Network but honestly, it's been six hours since we ate and my house still has a smoky aroma. My favorite dish ended up being the wings, which by the way are massive. If you think you are going to get some wimpy nugget-sized wings be warned, these were huge! Make sure you ask for both the spicy and sweet sauce when you order because both are delicious and I can't decide which one I like better. This is my new go-to place for halal eaters, in fact I'll be sending a few texts out tonight to spread the word."
"I had a cheesesteak from here and it was amazing! Someone gave it to me so I didn't actually visit the actual company. The bacon was perfect and thick! The cheese was on point, can't even explain it! Meat to bread ratio was adequate"
"Pollo tacos.... So good Onions, cilantro.. real deal. I just wish I could find carne asada that is pulled instead of a steak"
"Decided not to cook last night and instead stopped at EHVFS for their food truck event. Got seafood for 2 family members & Menke Boys BBQ was just across the way and hopping. I got a brisket sandwich with fries and got my son a pork bbq sandwich with fries. Mine was delicious and my son also really liked his sandwich! Also got some ribs and some burnt ends & although I spent a decent amount of money, the food was absolutely to die for. Highly recommended by me!"
"Chocolate chip toffee cookies are sooooo good! I never tasted anything like them. And I can't wait to go back for more!"
"I drive by this spot in the BP parking lot on 40 almost every day, and I finally tried them out. Suffice it to say I will be back! When taquería-trucking, I always go for tacos and pupusas if available; they had both and I tried to get one of every flavor (don't judge me and my foodie FOMO).The pupusas were all great, probably the largest pupusas I've ever seen. The bean and cheese were my favorite. Only critique is the cabbage slaw wasn't what I'm used to. It wasn't bad; I'm just used to a slaw that's a little thinner, not quite as crispy, and carries a slightly unnatural orange color. But at $2 a pupusa, they're still good. The tacos were all fabulous. My favorites were the lengua (rich and tender), and carnitas but the al pastor, carne asada, and barbacoa were all decent as well. My only complaint is that Mexican street tacos usually have two tortillas, and some of these tacos tore a bit with their solo tortilla.Going to be honest, not sure how much English they speak, but they do speak at least a little bit (ordered on the phone in Spanish, spoke both when picking up). Their prices are reasonable and the food is tasty and filling, so I will definitely be back!"
"Nice man who has been selling delicious hot dogs since 1987!! Stopped by to try his jumbo beef hot dog and his Italian sausage w peppers and onion (sold only on Thursdays and Fridays) and they were both delicious. I love to add all the hot stuff (franks redhot, Texas Pete, and hot chopped peppers) for some nice spice. Service is great too, he is super nice and is very personable with his customers. If you're in the area, definitely stop by!!"
"Deja Roux is a Cajun & Creole food truck offering a taste of Louisiana, based on their signage. They have a lot of New Orleans favorites: jambalaya, gumbo, and whatnot. My wife always has a hankering for Red Beans and Rice, and it is a good barometer of any Southern place's entire menu. The Red Beans & Rice had a very pronounced spicy burn, but no real flavor. It wasn't a deal breaker for me, although I think it was not helped that the beans were laid on top of a bed of plain white rice. My wife did not like them at all, though. Her favorite version still comes from a fast food chain that also has a French Connection, so maybe DR makes the mistake of actually caring about their customers' health and takes it easy on the salt and lard.Unfortunately, I think their Cornbread falls in that same boat. It definitely needs a boatload more butter or lard to keep it from being so dry (or maybe it sat for a long time, but it was dry and crumbly.)Napkins and utensils aren't automatically offered, and fortunately we checked our order before leaving and asked for a fork. I mention this because we also ordered a Boudin, a traditional Cajun sausage which was the star of the meal. The meat was incredibly soft but super spicy in a way that leapt out at you without hiding the flavor of the meat, and a bunch of those would have been amazing. The casing was far too tough and chewy, though. A knife would have helped to slice it up, as it is we had to tear it open with a fork to get at the meat as taking bites off the sausage was impossible."
