"Glad to see they're still around and holding on strong!!! Since my last review, the Foggy Bottom location closed. So this is my most convenient location to access! If there isn't traffic, I can get there in about 25 minutes, so it's not bad! Some friends and I most recently swung by after axe throwing nearby. It was about an hour before they closed. We were a party of 9 or 10, and they happily put together some high tables near the bar for us. Maybe it's because I've only sat at the bar in the past, but now you can either order with the server or scan the QR code that way. And the menus were these fancy tablets that I initially thought we could order through! They have so many pizzas now I forgot which one I got, but it was one I haven't had yet. I ordered a personal one through the server and I got garlic knots to go through the QR code. The staff were all very polite and everyone got taken care of. The pizza was great, and so were those garlic knots! I still cringe at how much cheaper they are in NY though, LOL! It seems like they don't do karaoke anymore, but I think they have some other events I can come through for. Long live HomeSlyce!"
"So I came here on a trip to Maryland and let me just say this place was amazing. The Sprite was perfectly sweet and refreshing. The chips and queso were really good. The salsa had a kick to it. The street corn ribs were immaculate to say the least. Coming down to the Birria tacos they were so good... especially the dipping broth. The tacos were packed with flavor and so cheesy. They were so damn good. I would and will most definitely be coming back here. The only thing I could complain about was the waitresses and waiters were kind of slow. Other than that I highly recommend coming here."

"Ordered the "Chicken Fricassee " w/ white meat only plus rice & peas ... it's plenty of delicious food ! I mean it's really delicious! It comes with some kind of dipping sauce (liquid) which adds a savory kick ! We buy from Negril somewhat often & will definitely be back! My mom got the curried chicken dinner w/ rice/peas and light cabbage ! She's full , quiet and very happy indeed ! Mission accomplished Negril!"
"I sat outside so I didn't get to see the interior, but the bench area was super cute and had an awning over which made it perfect once the sun set behind the buildings. Service was quick, even seated outdoors, and we had the lovely pleasure of speaking to the owner at the end. She came to ask how the food was, which is not something I'm used to anymore after living in a city for years so I was warmed by the thoughtfulness. I ordered a gnocchi vodka and aperol spritz and was not disappointed by either. The gnocchi were chewy and paired well with the sauce, while the aperol was light and refreshing. Perfect dinner spot, especially in warm weather!"
"I was looking for an ice cream spot to treat my husband and googled different locations we had not been. It was something about Moo Moo though neither one of us had ever been. The outside of the establishment is so eye catching (I had to take pics). Once we walked in, I fell in love with the brightness, the colors, just inviting. The owners- it was truly a pleasure meeting them both. They were friendly, kind and honestly i felt as if I had known them forever. Finally, the ice cream- my husband had marbled strawberry and I had butter pecan in a waffle cone. OMG beyond delicious. I will most definitely be returning- Cold Stone, BR, DQ and whatever other ice cream spots out there have nothing on Moo Moo Cows. Do you think we can get them on cruise ships?! Continued succes!"
"Other than asking the kid behind the desk what's good and him having no idea, the place was top notch. Old fashioned, apple fritter, all of it. Plus, solid local coffee. Service was quick, neat old school ambiance.Additionally, these guys aren't on the "let's charge $5 a donut train." Reasonable prices.I'll be back."
"Iron Rooster has to be by far the best breakfast I have ever had. When I say the food is delicious I mean the food is delish! It was my birthday and my sister surprised me with breakfast and even when the food arrived it was still fresh. The eggs, the waffles I mean everything was just right. You have to try it. See the pictures for yourself."
"Yum! I returned to Daniela for lunch this past week and was really happy with my experience. It was far less crowded for lunch and the service was excellent. I got the gluten free gnocchi and absolutely loved it. It was super filling and the sauce was just exceptional. They were even nice enough to make me a little piece of gluten free focaccia. It was even better than the sourdough-esque GF bread they gave me last time. I wish I wouldn't have eaten the bread so fast so I could've scooped up all the leftover sauce with it. Maybe next time ;)Everytime I come here, I'm always impressed with the number of gluten free options. As a pasta lover who has only just recently had to give up gluten, I can't personally tell the difference because the flavor and texture is just so spot on. I love that they have so many options I can still enjoy that aren't just your boring spaghetti or penne (GF seafood ravioli?? C'mon!)This might be my new favorite lunch spot whenever I feel like treating myself!"
"The parfait was great! Loved the textures from the crunchy corn flakes, chewy mochi, spongy cake cubes and sweet/savory ice cream. There's a machine for easy ordering and the mini cakes aee convenient for takeout to bring as host/hostess gifts."
"First time having this, ordered by my office for lunch. Delicious! Large portions and very good quality food. Will definitely return."
"I love coming here for boba. Tea Top has the best boba and ambience in Ellicott City. I enjoy coming here to catch up with friends or to spend some time by myself to unwind with a book. In the month of February, Tea Top has a Valentine's Alpine rose green tea special. It's light, refreshing and has just the right hint of rose. It's perfect to treat yourself or share with your love. A special shout out to the staff for recommending this. I'm officially a fan of rose tea. I'll be back for more!"
"I'm a regular patron, big fan of the old country artisanal sandwiches, like a charcuterie board on an italian roll. Pizza and other sandwiches are equally worth trying, great ingredients and good sized. Has a small deli and italian groceries.Mostly take-out, a couple of small tables but not a dine-in kind of place. Call ahead, wait time is usually 20-25 min. Prices are average for the area, better if you consider the quality."

BLUF: Excellent pizza but service was a miss so perhaps best for take out.My husband and I dined in at HomeSlyce while running errands in the area on a Saturday. We were the only ones dining in but there was a steady stream of people coming to get carryout - perhaps that was a sign. Being it was our first time to HomeSlyce, we had to study the menu. With our heads in the menu (a tablet) the server walked over and asked us, "ready to order?" To which I replied, "No, it's our first time here so we're trying to navigate the menu." He just nodded and walked away which seemed so strange to me. No offer to answer questions, make suggestions, walk through the menu, etc. Anyway, we finally figured out what we wanted and we both placed orders for lunch specials. It is really nice that HomeSlyce offers lunch specials seven days a week whereas many places exclude the weekends. Kudos to HomeSlyce for that. My husband ordered the Margherita pizza and I had the Philly Steak and Cheese. Both were 8" personal pizzas and both were good but the Philly was the clear winner in my book. We also both got sodas which are $3 and come with one refill. To claim our refill, we had to go up to the bar and ask for it. So again, not really a place that is excelling at service so next time I think I will follow suit with the many other patrons and get my pies to go.

I wanted to like this place a little more. The service was friendly. It was definitely busy and seemed to be a crowd favorite. I tried that birria tacos with queso. It lacked flavor to me. I wish u would have tried something else. It's located in the market in the back right corner. Pretty simple set up and menu. Fairly loud - due to the open space. It was early afternoon on a Thursday when I went.

Negril never disappoints! My go to dish is the curried shrimp but I also enjoy the variety of rotis. The patties are tasty and make a great snack. The curried veggies are delicious. The coco read is amazing (why don't I jut buy a half dozen to have the bread on hand for breakfast!). The rum cake is the perfect ending to any Negril meal -- tasty and not too sweet. The staff is always pleasant, too!

Came here almost by accident, we're staying in DC and decided to take a day trip to Baltimore, got hungry and end up in this cozy, intimate restaurant filled with a lovely team and amazing food! Thank you for the great dinner!

I walked in and the abrupt shift of environment was fun! They had a disco light going, and decor including their involvement in the community. When I was observing the wall of posters with news articles boasting of them, I saw one mention the recommendation: Cinnamon Toast Crunch soft serve. Considering how there was a special Friday deal going on ($5 for a waffle cone with soft serve / ice cream) I had to take advantage of it. Fresh, local cream made into a cinnamon toast soft serve, with a heaping pile of Cinnamon Toast Crunch (top tier cereal) on top. My favorite part was the house-made waffle cone! It wasn't a plain old cone either, it even had a nice flavor and crunch to it.We came 30 minutes before closing (Sorry! I hate doing that!) and they had an alright attitude. Answered all my questions but they were a just a bit curt with me.

Food - Really, really good old fashioned, crafted donuts! I ordered a half dozen, the chocolate cream filled - the donut was perfect, thick, yeasty, sweet but not too sweet. And the filling, too many places the filling is whipped confectioner's sugar, some sort of fat (not butter) and all you taste is sugar, not so with these. NOT overly sugary sweet, generous filling that complements the donut, not over takes it. I've had their jelly filled ones better and they are also NOT overly or "candy-sweet" either.Service - I went later in the day, no one else was there and the lovely young lady manning the store was attentive, and provided lots of information about the products. I've heard stories about the "rush" times in the mornings. They do offer pre-ordering on-line on their web site so you can pick up starting at 6:30 in the mornings.Ambiance - it's a donut and coffee shop, no frills, no hype, smelled wonderful of fresh coffee (not the overheated stuff) and donuts. I don't know when exactly they mix and bake them. But the place had that "yeasty fresh baked" smell. A couple tables and seats, the emphasis is on taking the goods out of the shop. While I've had their donuts before, this was my first time going over myself. What was I thinking all these years? I should have been doing that that long ago. Don't make the same mistake as me. Go!

Following a yearly tradition where my family eats breakfast together then cuts down a fresh Christmas tree at a nearby farm, we came to Iron Rooster this year. Our service by Alex P was exceptional. She was very friendly and enthusiastic on an early Saturday morning. She talked us into sharing the Strawberry Cheesecake RoosTart - so yummy! We also enjoyed unlimited coffee refills, biscuits and gravy, brisket hash, chicken and waffles, and chicken pesto flatbread. The food here is great, the restaurant open and spacious, and the service today - amazing.

"Cup Love is an amazing dessert place I just came across over the past month! I have tried their Oreo, triple chocolate, and red velvets which were all so good! They have great options for those who have specific food requests or allergies. The workers are super sweet and are very patient with my questions and making up my mind on which cup cake to try! The shop is super welcoming, and they also have FroYo for anyone who is down for a nice cold sweet. The prices aren't bad for cup cakes ranging from $3-5 which is average for a good gourmet cupcake. Overall I highly recommend and can't wait to bring my family to this amazing shop!"
"To go order for the Chicken super burrito & it was 10/10. Packed full of fresh and flavorful ingredients. Would reorder. Customer service was pretty good over the phone. Food was ready at the time said. No complaints."
"Afters in Federal Hill is a sweet haven! After a tipsy evening at Watershed, their carrot cake hit the spot. Exceptional service helped me find the perfect treat. Truly, a must-visit dessert spot!Nice little ambiance as well. Had a beloved neighborhood spot vibe."
"The only Iranian/Persian restaurant that has a traditional stew for vegetarians; i always get their Bademjan and it's delicious and actually very similar to homemade Khoresht Bademjan: i'd die for the abundant sour grape in it. I also had a spoon of my partner's Fesenjan to try it and it was also really good and flavorful. The priced are fair and better than other Persian restaurants around in the area. They also generously give bread which isn't a typical trend for persian restaurants. Lastly their akbar mashti ice cream and bakhlava were on point as well. Highly recommend s this is my favorite Persian restaurants around."
"A decent BBQ option in Bethesda. Lots of craft beers to choose from and a varied menu. Be aware that you order at the counter then go have a seat. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich along with some appetizers. Mozzarella sticks were very good, mac and cheese was decent and the pulled pork didn't disappoint. If you're used to more authentic BBQ you probably won't be a fan."
"As good Thai food as I've had in most places. The one in downtown Annapolis has nicer ambience but the food at this location was just as good!"
"Amazing job by these talented bakers!! They were a pleasure to work with - super responsive and creative. The Yoda they sculpted out of Rice Krispies treats and fondant was a work of art."
"Service was surprisingly fast! Our servers were super sweet. Drinks were yummy. Can't go wrong with a margarita!Enchiladas were kind of basic.Ahi tuna tacos were good but I was still hungry. Fresh, good crunch.Quesadilla with veggies was great! All presentation was beautiful.Cons: no chips and salsa ($4?) and no happy hour"
"Such a sweet little cafe. We arrived just after they opened on a Sunday and it was quiet with relaxing, ambient music playing. We ordered a sausage breakfast sandwich on a croissant and a veggie breakfast sandwich, both of which were so good. A veggie breakfast sandwich with spinach and mushrooms can easily go south but this was the best I've had in a long time. Whatever the marinade or sauce is is so perfect. We also ordered two coffees and those were great. I was bummed they didn't have an espresso machine but they offer to add cream and sugar to your coffee for you and that hit the spot for my usual vanilla latte. Plenty of indoor or outdoor seating, WiFi, and vegan options, this hidden gem has a bit of everything. The person working was incredibly kind and quick with our orders even though they were the only one working and other patrons were steadily streaming in. They brought our food and coffees to us at our table and since we had our suitcases with us, they opened the door for us and wished us happy travels as we were leaving. We loved this place!"
"A go-to for breakfast, lunch, and coffee. I live and work in the area, and find myself in there multiple times per month. I've never had a bad experience, and I've been going for over a decade. The food is consistent and very reasonably priced. Where else can you get a BLT, chips, pickle, and large iced tea for less than $10? Just a heads up - they are often VERY busy. For good reason! They're awesome. But be prepared to wait. It's a small place, so it can get cramped during meal times. But it's so worth the wait, and the people who work there are fantastic. A true Catonsville gem."
"Service: Meh. It takes a long time almost every time I go to get servedFood: I always get the snow crab special with medium spice and the boom. I get extra sausage. It's good to me. I would say 8/10 which is enough for me to go back. Ambiance: if you wanna watch a game this is a great place to come. It looks like a sports bar. Love the Virginia location more but this isn't bad"
"Great selection of Indian and Nepal food. Excellent service. Very tasty food with customizable spice level offered for every dish and even appetizers."
"The Best Cannoli in Baltimore! If you follow me on Yelp, I was in Boston last month at Modern Bakery & Bova Bakery trying their cannoli. I'm walking by Vaccaro bakery and I see they're putting in a new bakery case. In front of me is a man directing the show, after reading their website, I'm assuming it's Nick Vaccaro. I ask him, what's your favorite items here?He says the Pignoli cookies are amazing but the cannoli are our specialty. Wow, do you have any with dried fruit or pistachio? He said we do not but I'm going to change your mind with my chocolate chip. He tells the counterperson to wrap up a chocolate chip cannoli. First inspection, the fresh smell is almost intoxicating. I can feel the shell is freshly made. Before I continue, I have to give a shout-out to Vaccaro's Italian Pastry Shop. Opened in 1956, they've been serving Baltimore proud since. I'm glad I didn't see any Elmo cookies like some bakeries in my beloved New York City, catering to the masses. This is a true Pasticceria serving quality Sicilian treats. Now I take a bite. The hard shell is very fresh but the star of the show is the ricotta cream filling. It's silky smooth and has a unique taste. This has to be my top three cannoli I had in my life!Villabate alba - My childhoodModern Pastry - Pistachio cannoli all dayVaccaro's Pastry - Baltimore won my heart with their elegant cannoliIf you're in Baltimore, Vaccaro's is a must stop. Try their cannoli, it's a game changer!"
"My wife and I stopped in and had an absolutely delicious lunch. The New Yorker was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp salad too. Staff were extremely friendly and the restaurant was clean. Highly recommend."
"Wow! I'm always around that area but never thought to go in. My friend and I decided to get some Thai food so she chose this place. The interior is so nicely decorated and welcoming. It's clean and open. The waitress was friendly. Dining in wasn't busy but they had MANY to go orders!!! Lots of door dashers or something like that! On to the food: It was amazing! I ordered the PadThai which was sooo tasty. I could have cleaned my plate but I was so full 3/4 way in. I would definitely go back!"
"I've been given chocolates here as a gift and they're always delicious and taste freshly made! I was glad to be able to go in person and pick out some tasty treats. The smores were unique and tasty. I also got an assortment of truffles. I love that they had multiple fruit cream flavors to try. The black cherry cream was my favorite. The staff were very sweet and friendly. I'll definitely be back and would highly recommend Sweet Cascades to anyone"
"To be extremely transparent, I'm not a big cake eater. As a matter of fact, if cake is offered at an event or at someone's home, I'm usually going to pass. However, if Nothing Bundt Cakes is offered, I'm NEVER going to pass! How can you resist! They're so cute and delicious! The moment you step inside the shop, you're hypnotized by the intoxicating aroma of the cakes that have baked. Vanilla, red velvet, confetti, lemon (one of my personal favorites), carrot, and more are offered in either whole Bundt size cakes, personalized Bundt cake sizes, and even bite size Bundt cake sizes. I'm so happy they decided to make snickerdoodle a year round flavor (it use to be offered only during a select time of the year) but now, you can purchase it whenever you'd like! These little slices of heaven are perfect for dessert, a gift, a wedding shower, for your staff during a meeting, or just a pick me up on a random Wednesday. No matter the flavor of cake, they each have cream cheese frosting. Perfect combination! Nothing Bundt Cakes has a loyalty program and if you sign up for emails, specials and coupons are often sent your way. Do yourself a favor and give them a try! You won't be disappointed!"
"Popped in after dinner in little Italy and had the most delicious nightcap! When you walk in youare hit with smell of fresh waffles immediately which was super nostalgic. I got the specialty waffle with white chocolate, banana, strawberry and coconut flakes. When I tell you it was mm mmm GOOD!!!! The staff were super kind and they have a really cute photo op as you walk in. It was a nice night so eating outside was perfect. I'll definitely be back!"
"We were very pleasantly surprised with this place. We've passed it many times but have never gone in. Popped in early on a Friday evening and had great service and the food was really good. Cooked perfectly and very flavorful. I had a strip because I'd been craving steak all week. A little fattier than I would've chosen for myself, but it was very good. I would definitely come back again. It seems like they have a lot going on as far as entertainment, too. Trivia, comedy, definitely worth a visit."
"Food and drinks were delicious! Service was great! Can't wait to go back! Appetizers especially the garlic knots are a must!"
"Micro Review: Quick stop in Laurel and stumbled on the diner. Quaint and a local spot, but breakfast was spot on. Ordered the triple play - coffee was strong and great pick me up! They take credit cards for payment. Looked like they had enough parking as well. I really liked the home fries and appreciated that the waitress asked me if I wanted them with or without onions! Most places don't give that option... cute diner if you're wanting a filling meal."
"Amazing Food! The meatball subs are sooooo good. My husband and son love the Italian cold cuts. Thanks for everything."
"This restaurant opened its Gambrills location Summer 2024, and it's definitely a vibe! We stopped by to celebrate National Margarita Day 2025. It was packed as seating times were a 45 -55 min wait. We grabbed a seat at the bar to take it all in. The male bartenders One of the best parts? The margarita experience! We got to pick our flavor, our tequila, and even our rim, making each drink perfectly customized. For food, we started with empanadas--crispy, flavorful, and a great way to kick things off. I also ordered the guacamole, which was prepared tableside. Major plus that you can add crab or shrimp! Plus, they customize the spice level to your preference, which made me a fan! For the main course, I went with the chicken and steak tacos, and they did not disappoint. The flavors were on point, and everything was fresh and well-seasoned."
